When you come for a MEAC percussion section you have to make sure you come correct, they have very few weaknesses and they're cleaner than the board of health. NCCU for the win!
NCCU won all across-the-board.. Sticking, showmanship, originality, and diversity with the cadences.. Alcorn stick to yo original style and stop tryna be W.T!!!!
They will always be different. Better is subjective in most cases. Appreciate them both. Rudiments are equally played and played well. Im only gave nccu the nod because their cadences had more versatility.
@@fluellenmediabymarekusflue6320 as much as I want to disagree with this answer, your response is the best. I honestly like nccu for the win here. Typically the versatility of the cadence does it for me. Im not a fan of the Carolina schools cause they don't vary but this was a nice contrasting battle. Great job by both schools. Top cadences were carried out well. But half sounded like the same cadence. Good. But didn't sound different. Liked that last one. That was nice.
@@zaishaw6602 I agree as a whole yes. Individually they look as much alike as Jackson and Alcorn or tnsu and Lane. Suttle differences but to the non percussive eye. No noticeable difference. I think each school can shine don't get me wrong, but some schools don't have enough of a difference to stand out. Here's the test I'd like to see. Put 10 lines in matching uniforms. @@zaishaw6602 hey its just my opinion. But its not something we can test just yet. I'm thinking a blind fold study. Play 10 cadences. From variation of schools and see if someone can tell the difference?
Honestly, that's the difference between SWAC bands vs Meac bands/drumlines. I notice everybody in the SWAC kind of follow jsu style of playing. Well they all will see a real percussion section roll thru a city near you, and that's "SUDDEN IMPACT OF BETHUNE COOKMAN UNIVERSITY

All of ALCORN cadences sound repetitive. NCCU with the versatility. They stole the show❤️🦅

Not true at all.
Bruh if this was A&T, Norfolk state, or scsu this would’ve been real ugly 😂😂
Both bands were clean. NCCU cranked 🥁
Alcorn is a talented band with a skilled drumline, but we're just built a bit different in North Carolina 😂...smashed em in the teeth! 🤭
Love my Alcorn and they were both clean but NCCU gave it all.
Nccu is clean
Wooooooo NCCU with that sticking❤️
