By the looks of it, Ruan Mei doesn't really do much " experiment " on her as many assumed, she merely awaken the power within her bloodline, which evolved her into something more majestic and beautiful in a way, and Tingyun's will to live on to be with what she cherished kept her alive long enough to be rescued.
...where did you get anything about a bloodline from? more likely, Fugue is using the destruction inside her for her powers. especially because they seem to come from her tails, which Ruan Mei modified so Fugue could survive.

She has nail tails, which is referring to an ancient myth about a once divine creature that nearly became a god herself, legend was told she was appointed with a mission to seduce an arrogant emperor who disrespected an actual goddess, yet she overdone it and cause to much innocent casualty and was punished, from this point on there are many version of story of what she end up as, she isn't just some normal fox, she was a literal mythical creature in Chinese lore, so for Tingyun to gain nine tails means she must somehow has that bloodline in her, the legend of the nine tail fox, go look it up before you make a fool of yourself.
Too bad they changed the english voice actor. The only Tingyun voice was 2000% better. Already uninstalled the English Voice Pack. I cba to deal with this constant VA drama. I'll stick to professional VAs and those are all Japanese.

Where do you get this whole "bloodline" thing, she uses the "destruction" that Phantylia bestowed upon her... There was no bloodline plot whatsoever 😭
