Something about the way they direct that raw scream in each dub. So good, so so sad. Also love that her last lesson as she handed her the sword was "live on". She did her best to protect her from that thing inside the sword, but still gave in to save her life.
Yeah even knowing ahead of time it was going to be a sad story didn't stop me from tearing up. It really adds to the sense of determination we saw when she was speaking at the Old Eridu memorial.
One thing I was thinking of is why she forces miyabi to hold the sword when taking her life. I think it's important for Miyabi to feel dissonance and conflict over her mother's death. It's likely that feeling too righteous when wielding a demonic sword is a common pitfall. But 99% just overthinking it lol

Its so good all VA did so well in that scream part. You can hear the despair and the agony. It felt like it was from the soul.
