I like the feel but the blades while on the 76er are so much louder than the octane which is my go to detachable...is there a way to quiet these blades? haventbfound anything online to help me out.
@@Theheavyweightable there isn’t that’s honestly how the corded ones sounded as well and i know they tried to keep it as close to the original corded 76 as possible.
@@CutsByCruze appreciate the reply bro. I get trying to go for the nostalgia by keeping the sound similar but man this clipper is just too loud for me. Some of the blades don’t sound nearly as bad as others but it’s only on this clipper. I’ve tried them on the octanes back to back to see if maybe it was the blade but that doesn’t seem to be the case. I love the feel of the clipper and the weigh is amazing but I have to give it a 5/10 purely cuz of the sound.
@@Theheavyweightable that’s understandable. People love the octane and honestly I’ve noticed the sound as well so i get where you’re coming from it’s definitely not a clipper for everybody.
Might have to cop, those corded classic 76 can sheer a damn sheep 🐑 i love that you can change speed, makes it better for fading being able to slow down the motor, detachable battery is smart, easy to just buy new battery when the old one is going out, instead of ordering special batteries on the internet and screwing the entire machine apart just to add some batteries.
Could you please add a tutorial video of how to grease the Oster 76 I asked a couple influencers months ago to do a tutorial video on how to grease the Oster 76er!? Thank you if you know how I would appreciate it!
I'm fully aware how to oil the Clipper but the Clipper also takes grease it has injection spots on the Clipper where you inject grease into the Clipper that's what I was wanting in tutorial over or just a short Enlightenment I have no idea how to grease the Clipper not oil I know how to oil it.
I’m late on this video but I have the octanes and love them but I wonder if the 3 speed comes in handy at all and are worth switching over to those. I use detachables for the whole cut
I have the blue one. I'm like it so far. Faster than the octane. Oster told me the octane is more powerful but I can't feel it. I still think the corded titan gives the cleanest cut. 4200 spm on my tests. The cordless wasn't far behind at 3600 on high speed.
@@CutsByCruze yes the blue have 3 speeds. I was bugging oster like crazy until they finally told me in an email. The cordless 76 are 7.2 volts and the octane is 7.4, negligible. I still sold the octanes though cause I love the 76 and it has a 3 year warranty. The black definitely looks the best.
I just opened mine today and used them they seem to be hard to blend clippers over comb. I have the cordless Octane I love those but I’m going to give these more time to get use to them. It came with grease do u know where to put that?
What’s your opinion on the cordless 76?

they should of added an extra battery for continuous use

I agree it’s checking on the boxes for me!
coming from a barber from Hawaii saying thanks for the review, love it!
I appreciate you! Thanks for watching!
Excellent review! I’m probably gonna grab these
Thank you! I think there a great pick.

Honestly I’d just put the oil on the blade and let it run for a few seconds

I honestly don’t grease it. I know the corded one you had to but the cordless one I’ve never had to do that for

What’s are the different speeds on these? Rpm’s?
Doesn’t say anywhere
I just got mine and I love them but I can't seem to find the extra batteries!
I never thought about that but you’re right i haven’t seen one yet that’s crazy
Wish you could compare the new 76ers Vs Octane, I’m debating on which one to upgrade to
Hi I live in Uk where can I buy it online and get it shipped to me .
I’m sure you can. Do they have cosmoprof there?
@@CutsByCruze nah we don’t

The blue ones are nice. Do they have 3 speeds as well? I didn’t know how they compared to those 2 clippers thanks for that information.

@@ant9072 oh that’s not too big of a difference to where it’s noticeable. A lot of people love the octanes tho.
Been looking everywhere know where to find the batteries ?
I’ve looked but i cannot find them

I just use it in the blades honestly. They’re definitely not for everybody it’s all preference.
The grease is for the gears under the plate on the front
You think they go come out with a cordless model 10?
Honestly i don’t see them doing anything else for a very long time 😂 it took them so long for them to even give us these.
Which do you prefer. Supra or these?
I like them both but I’d rather buy the Supra. The 76 is nice they’re just a little loud
Compare it to the octane, bro
I would but i don’t have an octane
Octane been using since 2017 no issues except change the blade drive watch it cause the corner get worn down not a expensive fix
Dope review bro 💯
I appreciate you watching man!
Am I the only person who feels like these sound completely different than the corded?
No. I think they sound much louder than the corded 76.
Makes me not want to buy them
Yeah the corded sound way better. Ima just buy some andis bgrc's and convert them cordless
IKR? Sounded like they were gonna jump out his hand 🤪
WAY TOO NOISY !
That’s understandable they are loud!
3 speeds is wack.
