Man I’ve had octanes forever too. I do my full cuts with detachables. Is the 3 speed worth switching over to those black 76ers
I’d say the 76ers feel a little more powerful. But the octanes feel so much better in the hand. Honestly if it ain’t broke don’t fix it man keep using those octanes.

I’m really liking the Oster 76 over the Andis ZR, I’ve personally bought 2 ZR’s and they both died within a year, i know my Osters will last much longer. My Octanes are still going strong too, but i like the 76 better.

Bro does that chrome plate at the top bother you when you cut? Just recently got them and the light constantly bouncing off that plate directly in my eyes drives me crazy.

They nice but they’re no way close to as good as the wired versions ….the wireless oster 76 and the wired oster 76 are two different machines just look at them and you can tell …the wired version comes with the two carbon brushes on the left and right side of the engine the wired versions will last 20 years plus ….the wireless version engine runs weaker and after a while the battery will start to deteriorate and won’t hold a charge as well as they did when you first got them and soon you won’t be able to use them unless you purchase another battery or use them while the wire is connected they’re good for short term use but not long term use
