The overall story of one game can overwhelm the moments seen in other games, making it feel as though one game is better, when both really deliver the same product.
This song fits exactly for what Issac encountered in the Ishimura and the Titan Station. He just wanted to live a normal life and survive, but either didn't he know that joining the rescue operation to Ishimura were going to be his biggest regret in his life. After surviving on the cursed ship he gets snatched again just to live the same experience once again, but this time on Titan Station. He sees his ex-girlfriend trying to hunt him, necromorphs evolving through out the station and slaughtering civillians..... Issac just went through hell once again right? After all of that, he finally escapes the station, thus making him free. This song just fits in perfectly with Issac's experiences in 1 and 2.

It's hard to say which game the best is, they're all good at their own ways. The first Dead Space has the best horror, the 2nd was a good combination of horror and action and the 3rd Dead Space had good action scenes and a good story telling and good mechanics.
2nd is my most played of all! Really loved it.
