hey buddy. new follower here from Iran. Making banana wine for the first time. The world of wine making at home can be very big and scary for me as a beginner. But I keep watching your videos and take notes. I just wish you had a website where I could find written recipes, step by step. Thanks for all your efforts :)
That was an elaborate and precise demonstration and an honest feedback after tasting. That's why you have a wonderful following. Great work Chef. 🥂 Cheers
Thanks for the stem removal technique...... it's a few decades late to do me any good, but nice to know. I used to help my grandfather and dad make Muscat wine with the skins and it produced a wonderful full bodied dry amber wine. I miss that wine very much.
Just purchased 900 pounds of Golden Bosc pears for $200 to make pear cider. The Golden Bosc is not a 'perry pear' so I'll need to use some blanc tannin to increase the tannin levels without impacting color. Still waiting for the pears to sweat enough before juicing them.
Hello. I am making exactly same wine but only in big jar with rubber glove on it. It works and wine is fermented good. After fermentation in jar I fill bottles.
Inspired by you i have made 16L of natural wine with grapes from my Muscatel vines.. I doubt it will be "spectacular". I will find out in a few weeks when I taste it.. 🤞
@@Felicia-h4p hi.. I made 2 batches.. 1 using an electric kitchen "juicer". And 1 pressing with my feet.. The batch made with a juicer hasn't cleared very well and tastes a bit "cider-y" the other cleared quickly and has a "cleaner" taste.. I used to "brew" extensively. Kit wines, fruit wines. All grain beer and a lot of spirits 🤫.. So my taste buds are familiar with homemade flavours.. I Quit brewing and as knock on effect "habit" drinking! years ago.. (25 kg lighter these days) but since I moved to a climate where I literally don't know what to do with the grapes.. It seemed rude not to make wine.. i have absolutely no specialist equipment these days not even a demijohn.. (i used 8L water bottles from the supermarket) I don't think what i made is spectacular.. But I have had visitors who have happily drink the homemade wine when there has been "shop bought" options.. So i will be doing it again. And i do plan to plant some red vines.. My main concern with red wine is. I don't have a cellar and Mediterranean Spain doesn't offer many options for "cool dark" storage spaces for ageing red wine.... A solution will present itself i am sure. in truth wine is so cheap locally its not worth the effort.. Beer on the other hand is bland so i would be better off brewing beer.. But no doubt i soon be looking for trousers with a bigger waist! Sorry for my rambling answer..
Thank you for your video! It was really interesting experiment with different skin contact fermentation. I think maybe next time you'll make one more batch with wild yeast. Also I suppose that 3rd batch may be oxidized a little and that's why it's not so orange as 2nd batch, try to use ascorbic acid to prevent oxidation during the pressing and racking. P. S. May be 1st batch not so bad, and you will try it after a few months.
@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato thank you so much for this. Now I'm checking online to see if I can get the items for fermenting the grapes and where to get fresh grapes in Ghana 💚
Thanks for share white wine recipe 😊. I m from Thailand 🇹🇭. I follow your wine recipes but I m facing problem about fermentation. After bottling the wine fermentation start again and yeast settle in the bottom. Is this happen because of temperature? Thailand max temperature 35 degrees. Any suggestion for how to keep wine in hot country. Thanks 😊
Hi 👋🏼 I been in Thailand different years 😎 It’s normal that you have a sediment on the bottom of the bottle both for wine and beer. Homemade is not filtered 😉
The missing windmill arm when you tasted the first one told us everything we needed to know. :-)
😂 exactly 🍾
Another expectacular vídeo about wine. Thanks man. Hello from Brazil again. Big hugg
Thanks 🤗 big hug to you 🍾

Good.
Thanks 🍾
Great video.. How long will this last?
Thanks ☺️ 2 years
You have improved a lot. So when you want make beer in finland in midight sun? Or in in the bitter cold?
Better in midnight sun 😂 I don’t like cold 🥶
Bro. it looks like a type of Georgian wine. Nice
Thanks for the information 👍🏼🍾
Il vino è buono!!!
Si 👍🏼🍾
What do one use if you don't have the yeast you used. Would baking yeast work?
No 👎🏼 baking yeast
You can skip the yeast because wild natural yeast is already on the 🍇 grapes
@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato thank you so much for this. Now I'm checking online to see if I can get the items for fermenting the grapes and where to get fresh grapes in Ghana 💚

Hi, thanks for the video.
Won't the added sugar make the wine start fermenting again and make the bottle explode?
Yes 👍🏼 fermenting again but if you follow the video and use the right amount 😉 there will be any problem
That's how you make sparkling wine. Secondary fermentation carbonates it.
@BeefySpicy yes 👍🏼 exactly
what the name of the variety of grapes are u making?
I don’t know 😬 sorry

Andrea, were these just table grapes?
Yes 👍🏼 I was not able to find wine grapes
@@Spectacular-cuoredicioccolato - That's awesome. I can't wait to try it.
@RobertLane-ry7wv 🥳👍🏼🍾
👍👍👍
🤪🍾🥳👍🏼
Can i do this without the yeast?
Yes 👍🏼
Cant we make this without instant yeast?
you can with the native yeast (present on the grapes skin) if you're experienced
@@salimhaddad9862 lets give it a shot. If i fail, i will have plenth vinegar though :)
Yes 👍🏼 you can 😉🍾👍🏼 keep us updated
😍😍
🥳👍🏼🍾
First bottle could be used for cooking. I don’t think it would do any harm.
