Cool idea but doesnt work when he resets your stats after the first close combat. 3 out of 3 times now. Inched a win by focus energy and drain punch the last of his health but shell smash hydro pump takes out like 2-300 hp so you can’t keep up with drain punches after.
yeah i skipped it a couple times due to attack misses or iron defenses. if i have to keep restarting and get it 1 out 5 or 10 times, i'd rather just use a consistent strategy. the reset happens at 60% time remaining so i'm guessing just not doing things quickly enough. @@pacUndo90
Yes yes yes yes yes yes. This was my strategy. People were saying focus energy and scope lens was to gimmicky but I said hell nah. I was going all over facebook and everyone's streams posting this up. I feel the love
im using mew with stelar/ground tera.. both with the same set skill work.. set skill amnesia, nastyplot, earth power, snarl.. first turn amnesia, then 3 times snarl, 3 times nasty plot, 1 time earth power if blastoise use negate his buff then do snarl 2 times.. earth power until blastoise clear your buff, amnesia 1 times, nastyplot 3 times, then showering with earth power again.. when rain dance up and blastoise use clear his buff again use snarl 2 times.. then showering him with earth power.. 👍
I'm assuming it is because of Intimidate Ability Pokémons from the AI party. When they are not in my party, I can complete the raid without any problem.
@@izzypeezy9139 Blastoise critting from a low recovery cheer will always KO Iron Hands. It's a situational L condition, but it's technically an L condition since if you try to set up again after coming back you will get stat wiped before you can break the shield and will lack the defense cheer to do it safely after again as well. Blastoise doesn't normally crit with Hydro Pump 15 times in one raid though, so it's merely stating how terraless Urshifu ends up being more consistent, not that Iron Hands should be expecting to have an L in the raid normally.
It’s not consistent sometimes you get lucky with the heals and the Pokémon you get so you may occasionally win but most of the time you’re gonna lose. I tried this about 20 times and only 3 still a good video. It’s just not very consistent.
Update 2nd times the charm also I was listening to you as I was playing which caused me to take too long...I had to be brave and not have you hold my hand lol
I have just watch that video. It is too RNG for Delphox to setup the whole things. Iron Hands is still the best and fastest way to solo beat Blastoise.
You don't outspeed when it shell smashes. You get a free second turn because when shield breaks for 7* mons they stagger for a single turn.
Iron Hands: Acknowledge Your Iron Chief ☝🏾😂😂😂😂
XD XD
I've done this 5 times and you didn't lie it is consistent
lets freaking go!!
Did it 2 times 2nd CC didnt KO him.

If you have an extra switch or a friend bring gallade and use psych up to take the belly drum buffs, easiest 7 star raid ever to farm

this build was crazy. thank you for sharing.
of course! glad it worked out so well!
Thank you man, you let me get my Blastoise just in time!!
love it!
Drain punch is literally the only attack move you need…. When I use the other one I die because my defense gets lowered so much….
That's what I put in dansquared discord!!!... and I'm still the only one using this strat 😆👊🏼
Does Max HP IVs work instead of Sp Def?
Even with max Sp Def, Blastoise hydro pump hurts. So with just max hp, your mon will get 2hko or even 1hko
Since yesterday, I've been having trouble using IH. After Shell Smash, Blastoise suddenly nullifies stats. Then everything goes downhill after that.

more than likely!
You go first after you break the shield in a raid no matter which one it is, regardless of speed.
good to know!
Tried it 4x after the first CC, always hit the point blastoise reset my stats
Wow this is great, thanks
of course!
Actually, you can finish him in 8 turns. You dont need to Heal Cheer if he uses Iron Defence or Aura Sphere in that turn.
Iron hands is a beast
Still gonna us the crit bear urshifu
Hans is the go to mon.
Consistent until Blastoise crits you. I can't imagine you get the full setup if he crits
Correct
A single crit when you are not at full hp is an auto L, but the only L condition
@@black-redpill3nope you still can win, just need to do 2 heal cheer instead of 1
