I find this narrative very interesting. You can have the most supportive people around you but if you are not accepting of yourself you won't come out to them. Its a reminder for all the allies to give people their time to come out. For all the LGBT+ people who are on the journey of self discovery take your time, we will wait for you.

When did Kris Mochrie come out (or did he)? I’ve seen him in various things over the years but never heard nothing about him being gay, only know now cos I saw an article about this guy getting with him after being on Emmerdale together (ironically Mochrie’s character on ED was extremely homophobic)

We're both forty-one and he has young kids and doesn't want to leave his wife until they're older. We met at a gym. Funny thing is that we both went to NYU but never ran into one another He's an investment banker and I'm a cardiothoracic surgeon. It's hard but I'm going to stick it out.

I don't understand why he feels that a magazine has to ask permission to print a story about who he's dating? They don't call up hetrosexual performers and ask if it's okay to print a story about who they're dating, so why should they do that if someone is gay? Sounds like he may still have a few issues of shame to deal with.
