I've had a 2008 for 3 years now and the small steering wheel and associated interior layout works well. Like the look of the new 208 and it will definitely be on the list when the time comes.

The steering on this car is levels above the competition. You turn with speed on a clip and press the brake the whole car slides forward, and on the 208 the whole chassis just goes in the direction of the steering wheel. Also Puretech sux, but I love the driving

Great review- but three months' ownership (130 Allure EAT 8) tells me: ride is a mixed bag, good over speed humps but judders over crosswise ridges. 37 mpg in town unless you're super-gentle and the stop/start only works if you drive loads of miles (or buy a trickle charger as I have). Front seats sag a bit under your bum. I agree re excellent motorway cruising and smooth auto 'box.
