Well made Nick. A good introduction, plenty of history and geography. Some splendid views, hard luck with loosing some of your evening meal but at least you came prepared with a standby meal!
Wow, the amount of campers there was ctazy, especially with a 3 mile walk in! Must be a really popular spot. I would've walked on as well and found somewhere quietier to camp. Looks like you got a good pitch in the end. Nice set up, atb, Graham
Gunnerside is a popular spot but thats mad! I was at your pitch a couple of months ago for a walk and there was a fire pit in the ruins so people camp there as well. I think your right though its a much better view 😊
It certainly was mad. At least the fire pit has been covered up with rocks now. A few empty cans dotted about but I collected and carried out. Hate people who can take there rubbish home. Thanks for watching.
*_Is this Yorkshire Dales some kind of camping ground or national park...?, the forest is beautiful in nature, as are the hiking trails and camping spots highly recommended for adventure activities. There are lots of ruins of former buildings...? Honestly, I like your video and channel... Greetings to me, Rudy Tutorial Outdoor from Indonesia_* 👣🏕💯👍

Thanks for watching. Some one said to me a long time ago always be prepared.....I wonder who that was!
Hello 👋. Interesting video 👍
Thanks for watching. It's a very interesting part of the world. ATB Nick.
I was up there last year at the 'campsite' couldn't believe how many tents were there when you did your filming - crazy!!
It was like Glastonbury !

Thanks for watching Graham. It was like bloody Glastonbury.... I think it was a hiking club.
Cracking camp mate. Loads of places further on past them people to camp too. Weather looked spot on too. You must only live a few miles from me too.
Probably better doing it mid week. I live in Gateshead.
@ashwoodoutdoors nearly all of my camps are during the week. No one there ans much better spots. Yeah I'm not far from Stanley.

It sure felt like on that day. But normally it's very quiet.
