Damn, that pinch to zoom is super smooth. Maybe I'll wait for the Droid prime and skip the bionic. I love motorola, but I want the best band for my buck

Watched this about a year and a half ago, and I thought the OS looked beautiful. Now I'm the owner of a GS3, and now, after being exposed to jelly bean, Gingerbread looks ugly. :) Thank god the S2 has jelly bean now too. My dad is getting it on VM.
Looks to be a cool phone. :) This really doesn't have to do with the video but it really is shocking to me that visual voicemail still isn't a feature that is offered for free by carriers for their phones. Me being an iPhone user it just seems odd that most phones don't get it for free and is not directly built into the phone app. Visual voicemail should be free for all!
Hopefully you guys do a dogfight between this and the motorola photon 4g because those are the 2 phones I am considering when my upgrade comes in 2 weeks
In the next video you make is it possible to see that when you load a webpage that has a flash video embedded in it, is it possible to enlarge the video to full screen by using pinch to zoom (like you can do with the iPad)? I’ve seen in another review that you can make a small flash video bigger by double tapping on it, but it is possible to maximize the video to full screen by pinch to zoom?
@IRIE4IPIER Yeah but you see when he turned the 4G on, it loaded it up fast. But there has been alot of problems with sprints network, especially in my area. Alot of people have been complaining about it. The network in my area was basically down for like 4 or 5 hours one day. And when it came up, it was slow as hell lol. Seeing other reviews of this phone, it was really fast. I cant wait to find out more about it .
I like that its super fast, but im just hooked on HTC sense. Touch Wiz is the only thing that would make me not get the phone. I just hope the new Evo will be a super power phone.
@Cryengine Actually for the same plan that I have with Verizon, Sprint costs $10 extra per month. I had Sprint for 2 years back in 2003, 2004 and it was atrocious as far as getting a signal. The only way Sprint is cheaper is if you plan to sign up for all of the extra nickel and dime crap like NFL Mobile, navigation etc. Even the, by the time you pay your extra $10 per month for "premium" data, you are not coming out ahead.
Yea sprint can be spotty but it can also be really good my connections vary mainly because I live in between the appalachain mountains but get great service in downtown charleston wv...as for the phone ill go take a look at it in store I loved my 4 inch epic with the qwerty so I'm not sure about this one but its the fastest dual core out correct me if I'm wrong but faster than the TI in the bionic (benchmark wise)
@SimX9000 I think touchwiz is less bulky than htc sense. This and the 3D are pretty evenly stacked when it comes to specs. But hey my phone is rooted so its just as fast.
@bb6h22lude4 It's just probably his area. I get pretty amazing 3G speeds in Cypress Texas. I rarely use 4G though, because there's barely any 4G out here.
does the phonedog reviewer not have access to home/work wifi? He always uses the built in radio and that varies, why not test with wifi to show the speed of the phone with best possible speeds?
Does Sprint still charge the extra $10 per month for 4G? If so, the price of this phone isn't very good. $200 + ($10 * 24 months) = $440. Bionic on Verizon is $300 with no extra charge for 4G.
does the epic 4g touch come with any micro sd card? according to the user guide on page 182 it says it comes with a 2gb micro sd card. can that be confirmed? search on google for epic 4g touch user guide and there should be links for it. i can't post a link on comments

I'm a Sprint employee, and I've been playing with this phone for the last few days. Definitely a great phone, but I still prefer my MoPho :-)
