  • We start this whistle stop tour in Tonbridge, viewing the large collection of GBRf locos that are present as well as a tamper and Colas Rail 37116 on the network rail test train.
We then pop over to Hoo Junction, but the yard is empty, so all trains must already be out on site.
A quick stop over at Lenham to catch EWS DB Schenker class 66 cresting the hill with its van train for Daventry
And having missed the Belmond British Pullman at Sandling, catch it at Shepherdswell station, then we look in finally at Dollands moor. Nothing moving in the yard, but there’s quite a few locos waiting, with Colas rail class 66 on the terminated early at Dollands Moor, instead of going round Kent to Hoo Junction rail train

I’d love to see all those EDs in one place. Looks like a busy place Tonbridge. Maybe I should venture to the Deep South sometime.

They are either here or Eastleigh. About a 15 minute walk to West Yard at Tonbridge from the station
