The CMAs have done that to him every year!!! The People's Choice said it all, it's about the fans vote. However ,Miss Lainey deserved Entertainer Of The Year. He did as well. As for the CMAs last time I watch it. It should of been a clean sweep with Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, Hardy, and Jelly. They should have won everything !

I agrèe. I love Luke and saw him in 2022 at the yum center and laney opened for him. She is ok but she hasn't sold out stadiums and gone overseas and broke records like he and morgan have. I think it was too soon for her. I am really dissappointed in cma's. I don't think it does all of the homework to be fair.

I saw her perform on the 22nd for Rome River Jam for my birthday present from my dad and I can say that that was the best birthday gift that I have ever gotten I got to go see one of the people who has inspired me the most plus I saw Bailey Zimmerman and Parker McCollum and they have all three inspired me so much.

This is comparable to Ernest, Bailey Zimmerman, or paker winning EOY! They are all great but their not headliners yet. You must be the face of a tour. The one drawing crowds. I do not know how she could ever feel good about accepting this award and makes me question her about maybe how clueless she might be. To the fact she was used for an agenda of some sort but really thought she deserved or was even deserving of that prestigious of an award. Ignorance is bliss Miss Wilson.

Luck has alot to do with it. For example Carrie a few years ago had a better year than what Lainey had this year but Carrie was up against stiffer competition when Garth won it. Carrie didn't do alot this year as she mostly stayed in Vegas. But if she went all out this year like the year she lost to Garth she probally wins it this year.

I'm so happy for Lainey, she totally deserves it. But, I'm also a bit sad because CMA keeps ignoring Carrie Underwood. I know this wasn't her year (although I love her album Denim and Rhinestones), but it's sad how her talent and her contribution to country music is gnored year after year. She's one of the most succesfull country singers of all time, she has done sold out worldwire tours, her very succesfull Las Vegas Residency... and many more things I can say. I think her year was 2019, she should've won that year. But it's frustrating to see how she's one of the most popular country artirts on digital platforms and she's also considered as one of the best vocalist of this generation not just in country music but in music in general but her "country family" doesn't bother to look at it.

Uhhh Bell Bottom Country tour....I went in August. She sold out arenas all over. Some shows had to move to bigger venues or added a 2nd night. Pretty sure she's killing it.
