My cats were 4 weeks old when their Mom abandoned them so they think Im their Mom . They sleep with me every night and need cuddles through the day..

A wonderful dog, He watched out for our animals and our children; their friends included. He guarded an abandoned
fawn for day, he held a person who was breaking into our neighbors car until someone he knew arrived. He even protected me. These dogs are so loyal and magnificent. Such a good choice for your family and farming situation.

I grew up in Eastern CO where everyone Farm and Ranches and everyone had a Great Pyrenees. Everyone. They are so sweet and loyal and yes they protect from Coyotes.

Girl now you need a vacation so you can recover from the vacation in Kenya. I was like that when I came back from vacation in Maui last summer before the fire broke out in Maui. I took a extra week off before going back to work in the emergency room...

Just a note from experience. Coyotes attacked my sister’s St. Bernard by doing exactly what you said. They lured him out and surrounded and attacked him. Sadly they lost Ben because of this. My nephew was able to shoot and kill one of the coyotes. They now have 3 dogs as guardians. Thank you for taking us to Kenya with all of you. It was wonderful to see for those of us who it would be a dream for. Loved seeing Solo’s family.

I’m 47 now and still have memories of visiting my grandparents and holidays with my family at my grandma’s and parents house!! I love the animals and can’t wait for you to get livestock guardian dogs!! They’ll keep the coyotes away! I wish I could come visit and drink some of your kombucha!!!!

Sarah, you really are good at seeing and feeling your own heart. I totally understood your explanation of how you felt this time visiting Kenya. I remember you being really ill last time when you got home. As you say, it wasn't a full on vacation, but I can tell your heart is happy :) I REALLY hope that Nyanya (and other family members) will be able to come visit you - especially when the new house is finished. I've LOVED every vlog I've watched and again thanks for sharing them all. I'm behind on these so I can't wait to catch up on the one posted today too woo hoo. It is a metal Buffalo. The neighbors used to raise Buffalo and put it up. It was on the property when we moved here. Looks real from a distance 😂

Thank you for sharing your trip to Kenya. My husband spent four years doing rural development work and working in refugee camps in Somalia during the 1980's. We met in seminary after he came back, so I wasn't part of those experiences. He always would talk about his experiences. Whenever you travel back to Kenya, he watches the videos with me. He enjoys seeing places he would go on vacations while there and how much things have changed. Thank you again for sharing your trip with us.

Sarah- I sooo relate to how you feel about Kenya. I have such similar feelings about New England and particularly the North Shore of Boston (was a student at GCTS and lived there for a while and married a guy from there and we lived there a short time- thought it would be our home but the Lord called us elsewhere and except for trips every year, we have never gone back to stay. I used to cry when we would leave even though I knew we were where the Lord had called us and I was thankful, it was just hard. During vacation this year( from FL) my heart was so full❤….being with so many people we love up there, driving the back roads I love, going to places with memories and just everything! I was able to think how blessed I am to have all this and as Elisabeth Elliot said, all that was ever ours is ours forever.” Ok about to cry! But just wanted you to know I relate. So appreciate you and you are totally living the dream in your property …that is another dream I have had to lay on the altar before the Lord but it is fun to watch you and others with homesteads! I have had to be creative to find ways….kombucha, grinding wheat and baking, little gardens( FL is tough for gardening at least for me) and other things which are my “homesteading.” 😊May the Lord continue to bless you and your family richly.❤Liz in FL

I totally understand that desire to be somewhere else that you love. And a couple years ago I just grew this appreciation and peace about where I was and then we moved to a new property and I’m just happy here completely. Content.
