Thank u Sarah for this video.Im glad u r finally feeling better.love watching yr daily happenings. 😊So happy for Judah and Katie.Did u sell yr other house or did u rent it?Some how I knew u were going to rent it or sell mot sure.?
@@FraggleRockFever Have they already set a wedding date??
Sell the rv, build a pool!
To help with keeping Coyotes away, try keeping a radio on (not too loud, adjust to what you see working) 24/7 out by your animals😊 I do that and it has been working. Hi from TX❤
Sarah take one of the stems from basil put it into water. It will root. Then you can grow basil plant.
Somehow I get the feeling that the “small house” is gonna be Judah and Katie’s home, when the new one is built!!!! You guys are so blessed ❤❤
I thought that exact thing when they got engaged😂 I remember Sarah saying a few times over the years that she wanted all of her kids to live as close as possible to her.
Definitely enough land to buy a bunch of house
100%. Until they decide where they want to settle, buy and build (if it’s not on the family property). God is so good !
I’d personally rather live somewhere else for a year or so to get some space and learn how to be a married couple with boundaries.
I have ten siblings, mostly younger than me (and love that we had a big family), and have been married 7 years. We took some time to become our own “thing” after getting married and I’m glad we did. Not sure I’d enjoy living on the same property as my family or my in-laws right away, even though I love them a lot! 😅
The blessings is options! Stay now save and build their dream home later 💛
Sarah, the short hair looks so good on you. It fits your face so well
I think so too!
I was thinking the same thing at the end of the video 😀
I love it so much too! 💕 It even suits your character!
I love her hair short so much and the light weight allows it to hold texture
I was going to say the same, I love it- it makes me want to cut my hair shorter too :)
Sarah remember the time your whole family drove around (I think in covid?) and you and solo were dreaming of a farm and you were laughing about it and getting excited.
So glad you got there 🥰
I can’t wait for it to be my family’s turn!
I remember that episode, that was great to watch
Here in Ohio we were in Ohio for 6 days in a row. We've been in the 70s this week. Next back up in the 80s.
I remember that video ❤❤
@@hollybaldwin2332 I don't remember that video. Do you remember the name of that video? Or do you think you can find it for me?
@@julien2912 I think it’s called Our Covid Story ❤️
It’s awesome that Judah has an opportunity to live on his own before marriage. You should be so proud of his independence.❤️
Wayyyyyyy too young to be married I think but up to God
Why should he wait? What is he missing?
Chuck the jars with the cracked eggs. Bacteria will spread and not worth getting sick.
I asked my mom and Mamaw and they said the same thing
Yes get rid of the jar with the cracked egg, it can be dangerous. Bacteria can grow and sickness would be very bad.
I keep forgetting to mention how awesome your new hair cut is, especially with your natural waves…honestly it makes you look 10 years younger 🥰
Oh thank you!
Grow your own blueberries. You have plenty of space. You have such respectful kids. Very blessed
Elderberries
Luka is such a handsome young man! I know you’re proud of him. And what a great chauffeur! And you & your kids out in the yard in the summer nights reminds me of my youth.
It’s beautiful to see the kids transforming before our very eyes. Everybody’s growing & flourishing. ❤
Amazing indeed.
So excited about Judah's & Katie's upcoming wedding, what a blessing! You all have a blessed family! Love the idea of family dinner night! The cake looked so good!
Poor Sarah, I'm not surprised that you got sick as soon as you got home, You had just been through a trauma to your body just days before you traveled to Kenya with no time for your body to rest and heal and then you were on the go the whole time, Take time to rest and heal.
I agree, a lot to process as well
sending prayers 🙏
you have a beautiful smiling ❤
I commented practically this exact same message to her in her last video except I used the M word for the trauma she went through and I was bashed by some Karen who jumped down my throat for reminding Sarah of her trauma. Wow! Like I am not the only one saying that. (I am not bashing you. I am just explaining what happened to me).
I wish Lukah wasn't camera shy! He's such a handsome young man! I know he's not shy, he plays ON STAGE at church!🤗
Yes, but when you perform on stage, it's not one's personal life on view for almost 400,000 subscribers like it is here. 😊
@@debb3428 Their church services are online, as well

Love the mandatory family dinner night
Have you spoken with your family in Kenya recently. The news is reporting turmoil going on in Kenya. Will be praying for their safety.
Yes news here in UK as well its because government want to raise Kenyan taxes people are not happy about it it will make food everything else really expensive out there
8:09 I think that once young adults get a taste of independence, it hard to return to living as they did before. This is a good thing.
The cost of living necessitates many children staying at home or moving back home.
My mama heart sunk when you said Judah moved out 😢 but I know Solo and You have done a Great Job in raising your children up in the way they should go and they won’t depart from it!❤️🙌🙏 God Bless Sara 🌺
Coming from a family of blueberry growers (my husband’s family) Grow your own blueberries! High bush or wild.
Thank you for sharing your life. This was the family I had yearned for in my youth but never got. Your togetherness is so beautiful.
Now why did I cry when you said Judah moved out😢. God Bless him. I think they will get married rather quickly. They could live in the small house while they also build on a part of the property.
Yesssss this is what I love about living outside of the city. You do find better deals on homegrown fruits and veggies. Congratulations again Judah and Katie. Wedding planning is fun. Awesome video.
Sell the RV and build a pool😀
Yes, sell the RV, especially with people that don’t take care of it. Build a nice swimming pool. Cool and refreshing.
Agreed with the above… if it is in the budget and you can do. Pools are expensive to maintain
Okay, watching Brick, or maybe another cat, walking/jumping down the ladder in the garage was adorable. The heat is insane this summer, and yes chickens will slow down laying eggs anytime its too hot or cold.
If Judah and Katie do a Q&A I'd love to hear the story how they met.
Yes it will be great to hear of their upcoming plans
I haven’t seen videos with her in it I think she refuses to be online which is fine but means no q&a
I love you with curly hair. Was watching an old video when Judah went to Japan and laughed every time you asked Peace if she liked something or was she going to miss Judah and she shakes her head no to everything. She is adorable with the sweetest smile. I so love your channel. Love and hugs coming to you all from hot hot hot California ❤️❤️❤️
Good Thursday morning family! Always so nice to see a new video up. Judah and Katie just take your time and enjoy each step while planning. Memories to cherish! Have a great week! Sarah and Solo prayers for safe travels. Hugs and loves!
Hope you are feeling better soon Sarah. My last child got engaged, waiting for wedding plans. My question for Katie and Judah is will they continue college or pursue specific careers once married. Does Katie come from a large family too? We are also happy for both of them.
What an awesome day! So sorry for the rv-I can not believe how some people treat others property!!! Ps the pool looked great! Not crowded at all!!!
Sarah, pull your blinds and utilize them keep the heat out! It will heal very much!
Our chickens lowered the rate of laying eggs during the summer. When it gets hot, nobody wants to do much. lol. I hope you feel better soon, Sarah. You should get a garden planter that could grow on your porch. Amazon has them with Lattice in the back. I probably did not explain it very well. Sorry. Thai beef looks good!
If you have good inclines in your yard, you can set up a few slip n slides with inflatable body boards. The kids would love it!
So the other day I ran across one of your videos from about 6 years ago and I scrolled through your videos and realized that there were several I had not seen and Oh my goodness they were fun to watch I think I became a follower a little over 5 years ago and it was so much fun seeing your littles when they were so young. I still have a few more to catch up on when I have some time but it was so fun just to see the differences in your kids and many things from back then. I hope you all had a great trip to Kenya it was fun to travel along with you. Have a great rest of your summer and I am so looking forward to seeing Judah and Katie get married. Lots of love from Upstate NY ❤
gosh they are all growing so fast, love the family dinner ideas
Morning my extended family may you all have a Blessed summer
Extended family? That’s creepy. You don’t even know these people.
We're humid and hot in FL but have no pool, no city pool, and no ocean nearby. We just appreciate the air conditioner and the very tall trees that fill our acre. I'm so glad we have no ice and snow.
Grow your own basil so easy. Can start even now end if June and have plenty. Katie will be such a beautiful bride!
Too cute, mandatory dinner and now more people show up, I love family dinners.
Thanks for sharing Family Meal night, i think it is very important to set the priorities for the family. I hope you get some more rest Sarah and feel better soon! Everything looks so wholesome and refreshing! Sarah you can grow your own basil and herbs and blueberries too! It is good to see everyone recovering from your big overseas trip! I am so happy for Judah and Katie!🙏✝️💖🌻
Always look forward and enjoy watching your videos. Very nice content . This family is always smiling ❤. I enjoy seeing your loving family together. So proud seeing Judah growing into a respectful young man. He got the best lessons and examples from you all (parents). Can't wait for the wedding
How to immediately remove all the eggs, water glasses that go bad because of the bacterial ruin and they smell really bad so you can feed them to your chickens so they don’t go to waste. You need to be a little more diligent about what you put in I use a flashlight to make sure there are no cracks in any Hairline blemish makes them crack
Good to always see Luka more. He is so handsome and shy!
That was THE best shot of Solo near the end, over your shoulder Sarah~ such an amazing smile, that one!😁*I guess it's because we don't often see him that close up, since you do most of the vlogging~ so we're used to your lovely selfGlad to hear you're on the mend, praise God for his encouragement to rest, rest, REST mommas! There will always be a neverending list to your neverending story~ enough energy to function is important. Of course you're well aware, just stating the obviousXO's from The Whitson's in AZ~ where it's also been in the 100's, naturally. What we're not normal is this humidity from our twice annual monsoon seasons, which last a couple weeks~ whew, it's hot muggy!!
Praise God that both of your children made it back home safely from overseas.
Sarah I love your hair it's so chic it really suits you.
Anyway wanted you to know that I have finished reading Grandma Eleanor's book which came while you were still on vacation.
I really enjoyed her lovely style and the wonderful stories but mostly the gentle encouragement especially for people of my ancient age. I do wish I was less physically challenged so I could throw myself into voluntary work BUT the children reminded me of the youngsters I used to support when I worked in a children's home in the 80's and my main professional years spent teaching. I got quite emotional reminiscing.
Give my loving wishes to Miss Eleanor when you speak to her and tell her I am so glad she decided to record her experiences at the KKV and share her joy with us.
Many congratulations again to the lovely Katie and Judah so excited for them.
It's so scary how quick the time flies and your babies are suddenly all grown up!
Good to see you back but I do worry about the turmoil in Kenya. I hope all your family are safe and well. I have been trying to find out what we can do to support people from the UK. Let me know if you have any ideas .
Love to all of you as always.
Janice 🇬🇧 xx
Love the idea of Monday manditory dinner night. 😊
So glad you enjoyed Grandma’s book and for commenting about it!
I was actually cold here today. North wind, low humidity, sunshine and 55 or so degrees. I would just melt away at your place. The swimming park looks great until you get your own pool.Hope the kiddos had fun. Take good care Sarah. Rest naps are a good idea😊
So one thing that helps our birds w the heat and egg production is I put concrete paver stones or like side walk stones under a water bucket that’s shallow and rectangle sorta like a small pool for them add ice water on the super hot days. They definitely lay better when they can more sufficiently cool. They love it they will stand in it throughout the day. Hope this helps !
I have used Homeaglow since you first told us about them and they are wonderful!! Also, I would love to be on the list of folks coming over to visit lol!! Judah has grown into such an amazing man, I wish him and Katie all the very best and look forward to the wedding! Feel better Sarah and sell that RV and get your pool!! Lol love you all. 💛💚💙
Hi Sarah, You are amazing and inspiring. I made tortillas once, and everything was going well until I cooked them. They tasted really nice, but they kept crumbling, and it's contents were falling out.
It's terrible that people caused damage to the RV and then they lied about it. I'm a few years older than Sarah but basically from the same generation. From what I've seen we were taught to respect other people and their things. I'm sorry that your RV was not looked after.😊❤
I LOVE “mandatory” dinner night!😍 Fabulous idea!!
Judah is always smiling...so cute
Sarah, so glad you are resting when needed. You've been thru so much last couple months. Can't wait for the wedding. I'm sure I'll be invited since I went with the family to Kenya. I'm thinking you'll get a pool next summer or the next for sure. Solo resting his head on your shoulder was so cute!
Great Video! Family fun and meals are a must to share stories ect. Hope it cools down a little did here in Southern Amish Oh went from high 90’s to low 70’s😀
💖💖 Blessings beautiful family! Happy your back to good health Sara. Loved seeing the kids enjoying the splash pad & pool. Sorry to hear about the RV. I laughed at Solo looking for a "spot" 😂 He took Noelle, Hope, or Desi's smile bombs! 💞
Oh my goodness, when Tori walked behind you in that dress and that Afro she literally looks like a grown woman that’s a melanin model‼️‼️ she’s definitely going into womanhood full force and embracing it strong 💪🏽 💪🏽💯💯 you go girl🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
I looooove Tori's hair, and Luka is so cute ....
I'm sorry to say that I told you that Judah would come back grown up. But he's a good son/man (even though we still call them our boys) and he will do great. That was his time/way to grasp his independence.
I threw basil seeds in a flowerpot on my porch and its huge now.
Sarah, I make all of our bread products for our family. I can make tortillas but I much prefer to make sourdough Flatbread and roll it as thin as possible. If it isn't super thin, they still taste great and it is easier!
I also prefer to make flatbreads. If I do tortillas I have the most success if I ferment for only a few hours
@Sarah-psalm127 yes, they over-ferment quickly but also, I feel like they need to be rolled super thing which can be difficult in bulk.
@amandadeinhardt6388 I agree with that as well. Plus we prefer the taste of flatbreads generally.
Sarah, absolutely love your hair cut…it suits you so well!! 💖
Basil is amazing, not only in recipes, but when you grow and harvest it. This is my first year growing it, and I can't beleive how fast it comes back. Very easy herb in the garden. Love, love, love it 😊 ~
That cake looked delightful- maybe good for a wedding cake ;). Growing herbs is awesome, definitely recommend, it's really crazy how expensive it is in the store!! I started growing basil, dill, tarragon, and cilantro and mostly I grow way more than I can even use, I need to start drying it this year.
Hubby suggests adding a donkey to your homestead. They will keep the coyotes away.
Yes, donkeys can be very predatory and aggressive, who knew?😮
But they are also VERY noisy
When I was a kid we couldn't afford a swimming pool...my parents bought a large horse trough as a pool..worked great to keep cool in😂😊
Niiiice!!!!
So sorry about the RV! I rented one once during 2020 and I so careful with everything in it. I couldn’t imagine damaging something that isn’t mine and then not even owning up to it. Definitely a frustrating experience for you all
Question? Do you have any plans for the little house after the move? I'm enjoying you sharing your life. I can't stop watching! Sending blessings and love to your family, keep up the good work
I love starting our day with your videos!
Start a strawberry bed, once it get started you only have to worry about weeds, critters, and picking them. You’ll probably have to put an electric fence deeper for gophers, moles, mice/rats & anything that burrows. Then higher, because every animal including dog, human ,deer, and cats loves strawberries . Maybe a greenhouse would solve your varmit issue!
Oh, I wish I could send you basil plants. I grow & sell herbs at a Farmer’s Market in Minnesota. Thai, Genovese, Cinnamon, Lemon, & a customer favorite Lettuce Leaf Basil.
You could still start some seeds for any of these. Maybe give it to your “ green-thumb” children as a school project.😊❤
So pleased you’re feeling better Sarah.
I enjoy your family videos, it brings me joy! I learn so much from you and your country living. It’s something I aspire to ever since you moved there. Many blessings to you, Solo and your family.
Hello to you and your amazing tribe! I enjoy your family and content so much! Glad you are feeling better, you have so much going on do make sure you rest.
Our family has our five oldest adult children living on their own and our youngest six are at home. About a year ago we established a once a month Sunday family dinner. We rotate who hosts, since almost half are grown. It’s my favorite day of each month!!!😊
Wedding planning is so much fun! One of my girls are getting married in 2026 .. we're currently planning on when to plan things lol but venue is chosen and booked so thats the first big thing sorted hehe.
Yes!!! Grow Basil!!! Around your tomato plants to keep hornworms at bay. This is my second year doing it & so far, it’s helped tremendously.❤
Honestly Sarah , you are a Wonder Woman! I’ve no idea you manage to do what you do ! You’re amazing ❤
Anyone else see the kitty coming down the ladder from the attic? 😆
I feel you, it has been so hot and humid… really ready for fall! Love and prayers to you all❤
I'm always sorry when your videos are over. Thanks for sharing your lives with us. God bless you all!
The city pool is where everyone went in the summer when I was growing up in the 70s when even central air was a luxury. Pretty sure Aldi keeps their sour dough loaves frozen because several times when I’ve bought some it was still cold like it was taken out of the freezer; good job on your freezer stash of sour dough!
You should actually have a screen on top between the birds and the heat lamp. My step son and daughter in law had a house fire because of this, they only use the heat bars now. I still use a lamp but with protective coverings. You can actually use the lid and cut out the middle and secure the screen to the lid so they cant lift it. Love your content ❤
Add the netting around the trampoline to prevent broken backs and necks, etc
Katie is so good with all the children. Is she from a big family herself?
My chickens don’t slow down very much in summer. If they are free ranging check if they have hiding spots they are laying their eggs. My son’s girls were laying under his front porch. If Judah and Katie don’t mind telling us about how they met and a little about Katie’s family.
I can tell by the way you are breathing (using accessory muscles) that you still need time to recover. Hope you have had x-rays to ascertain if you have pneumonia. Special prayers for rapid healing.
Thank God your home from Kenya...praying for all your families living there.🙏
I’m shocked y’all don’t have basil growing already! They’re quite easy plants and give quite the yield! Love following your content.
Hi,
It was super hot here in Michigan too, but I will take it over snow.
Sad that people didn't take care of the RV.
Excited to hear what Judah and Katie have to say.
Living in the country looks so cool.
Stay cool
Love from Michigan ❤️
Hi everybody 👋
Loved seeing Solo putting his head on your shoulder from behind you.
Look for fresh herbs like Basil at an Asian market. Prices are very affordable there. Love watching your family grow-up! Glad you’re all back home now from your blessed time with your family in Kenya.❤
Basil is so easy to grow , you can even in a pot on your porch , the dollar tree has seeds 4 for $1 most of my garden is from seeds I bought from there
Such a beautiful family and a beautiful spot of land you have.
I had to laugh at Solo talking about the heat/humidity I'm from South Carolina born and raised here the heat and humidity is unbearable here for months you might think I would be use to it but I will never get use to it look forward to January and February
Sarah, I have followed you and your Beautiful family for years. You and Solo have done an amazing job with your children. Today I cried when watching your video. We are a Christian family and raised two wonderful sons. Although we did not homeschool, we raised our sons in a similar way. Raised them in the same church for their whole lives, both musicians, lead praise and worship since they were early teens. We always Prayed with and for our children every single day. As I said, very similar to you, very close, very involved. I cried today, seeing your sweet son, growing up, he and Katie, together, planning their wedding, with you. I say all of this, because our oldest son got engaged on his 20th birthday to a very different girl. She was not involved at all in planning their wedding at all. It was 100% our son. She rarely talked, didn’t go to his music events, was very, very odd. We weren’t comfortable with this, we tried to slow things down, but fast forward, he got married anyway. Five years later they had their first child, she rarely allowed us to have any time with our first grandchild. Then, five and a half years later, they had their second child, we rarely got to see the baby, at 5 months old, we had only held the child 5 times. Now it’s been over 5 years since we have seen or heard from our son. Never in a million years would we have ever thought that this would or could have happened to us. My husband and I have been married for 41 years, we were 19 & 20 years old. We desperately miss our son and our two grandchildren. Seeing Katie, so sweet and kind, involved with you and your husband and the other children is so special and such a blessing. The Lord has been kind to us in our grief, as our other son and his sweet wife, who had been married for 12 years and weren’t sure if they’d ever be ready for children. Well, The Lord surprised them with a little girl. They were so happy and had another a year later. Now they live down the road and we’ve been blessed to actually be grandparents and have a loving, sweet relationship with their children, like normal. I am sharing this, because even as close as you are, raising your children in the love and admonition of The Lord. It’s so important to Pray for their future spouses, even when they’re young, because someone who says they’re a Christian, but doesn’t have any fruit, can come in and poison them and tear up a family. We still Pray for them and their children every single day. Thank you and your family for sharing, and lifting the spirit of this heartbroken mama. I love seeing your children, they’re such precious, respectful, sweet souls. Great job to you and Solo. Thank you
Such a sad story. I so agree with you about praying for your kids spouse. Your story isn’t over yet and God can still restore. Thanks for sharing.
@@OurTribeofMany Thank you Sarah. I am a medically retired nurse, had a very serious injury from a freak accident at work. After 10 years of tears, Praying for help, for a miracle, God did help. A decade of what seemed hopeless, but God did cause a medical device to be invented during that time that would bolt my unstable pelvis together. I now have it in my body, 9 trips to Minnesota, and 16 orthopedic surgeries later. I am still here, and although still have a lot of pain, I am no longer having to use a cane and can climb stairs after almost 15 + years of not being able to. So yes, I know that our story isn’t over yet. That son, he knows that we love him, and like the prodigals son, we’re waiting for him to come back. Thank you for sharing your story and your beautiful family. And for sharing The Lord in your life. It has Blessed me so much.👑🙏💜
Wow our story is quite similar. New grandson will be one soon...I've only held him one time. A very difficult providence. I feel as though I've lost my son and grandson and have zero relationship with my daughter in law. So confusing and difficult. Praying daily for restoration and reconciliation. As long as there's breath, there's hope. And now I see that I'm definitely not alone in my pain. I'll be praying for your family as well. How long, O Lord? Be content whatever my lot. It is well with my soul.
That cake looked awesome. Your beef recipe looked so tasty
My husband said if one cracks you're "supposed" to throw them all away. But, we chose to still crack them and as long as they smell ok, we use them. Haven't had any problems
Good morning family and happy Thursday glad you are feeling better 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️
I love your family. You are truly an inspiration to others. Please keep the videos coming.
Love your videos! I am missing the warmth. It's Winter in NZ ❤ Love how there is so much happy chaos in your home. Big families are awesome x
I love coconut and that cake looks awesome! What a kind friend❤
So excited for the wedding! Unasked for advice from a complete stranger: if you want a large amount of people, try to stay local (cheaper). A wedding is about the couple yes, but also about bringing two families together, (when the families can get along well, it helps a TON leading into the future). If you have a lower budget, fake it til you make it honey! For example: Fake flowers, fake cake, etc. or ask for favors from family/friends if you feel comfortable. The wedding industry is whimsical so it is easy to get sucked into thinking that you need an overpriced wedding. You don't (you can if you want), but it's not necessary in order to have a great wedding. Okay. Much love to you both from uncertified stranger!
I grow all my herbs on a vertical greenstalk, can move around depending on season and most herbs survive all year around. Herbs at the grocery store in Florida are very expensive. Grow your own is easy and you will love it. Thanks for sharing your beautiful family.. God Bless!!
Hi.Sara it's Ashley 😊have already missed you guys can't believe it's been amonth now 😢 peace looks cute say hello to both Seth and peace ❤ oooo I hope Eli's is okay
I also have a black thumb, but I can grow basil! It's so much cheaper to buy a couple plants than to get it at the store. They do pretty well in the heat, and it's been upper 90s here, so it should definitely thrive for you!
And we have HUMIDITY!! And we have had storms for weeks it seems and chance of more tonight out here in mis-state. Good ole Nebraska in the summer! Glad you are safe at home! God's blessings.......🥰🥰🥰
