  • • SANDMARC 16mm Wide Len... - Take 48MP Ultra Wide Photos
    In this video, I want to compare the 3 difference lenses available for the Portrait mode, as well as take a closer look at what the new 48MP sensors brings to Apple's ProRAW format.

    Every shot we take calls for a different setup. For me, the 2x portrait looked the best for that shot 👍🏼 I find 3x is a bit hit and miss

    • @gutenbird
      @gutenbird 9 дней назад +1

      I thought you should always avoid 2x on 14 pro as it’s just cropping info.

    • @TMCNJ
      @TMCNJ 8 дней назад

      @@gutenbird that’s true but at least it’s cropping the full 48MP image. That, and I’ve noticed the 3x sometimes produces artifacts. I’m not sure if this is apple’s image processing creating problems or if it’s just because the sensor on the 3x isn’t that great

    • @gutenbird
      @gutenbird 8 дней назад +1

      @@TMCNJ I think the 3x is a much slower lens so that accounts for the artifacts. Probably just best shooting most stuff at the 1x or .5 and cropping. 2 should probably be avoided in most cases. 3 is probably ok on a bright day.

      @@EldarGezalov When I take my RAW 48Mp into Lightroom (Version 6) then it always comes out very underexpose. You will need to adjust the exposure anything up to 1.5 stops extra but what you do get has the ability to bring out a lot of shadow detail which you do not necessarily see in the processed image. I generally take semi important photos in 12Mp RAW and ones that I am going to hang on the wall at A3+ at 48Mp this allows you to crop in if necessary.
      I think that the iPhone 14 ProMax is a great camera and it doesn't do a bad job as a phone.
