I miss Starkiller. I’m going to say it, what Star Wars fans dislike the force unleashed? It was crazy, over-the-top and was essentially God of war but for Star Wars. What’s not to love?

I never played it but from all the lore I've watched, starkiller is too OP, I don't really think he should be canon bc it would render everyone else essentially useless
My favorite part was messing with enemies with your force powers. You could grab them and they would try and grab onto their comrads to stop from being picked up.

Anakin/Luke could still be the chosen ones, but no one has to say that they should be exclusively the strongest in the force. I'd rather have had Galen Marik exist than whatever Rey is lol
I always loved Galen. Normally overly powered characters aren't my thing, but the fact that canonically Galen was I think 16 or 17 is something that fascinated me. I've always wondered just how powerful and how dangerous Galen could really be if he'd been allowed to live, gain vast experience, and truly train in both aspects of the force. I think with a fully realized Maulkiller by his side Vader could definitely kill Sidious, but I'm also sure that eventually he'd wind up having to fear his apprentice.

They probably did it for psychological reasons, as the rite of passage is probably deeply ingrained in the species and he'd have seen himself as a child otherwise

I have both Star Wars Force Unleashed games they are amazing games. Maul Killer was a character that was fun and I wish they had kept him a bit more stable though it would have been fun had he found a way to control his rage side through the force. I also wanted them to keep Galen Star Killer alive and thought it would have been more interesting if they had just let him live. Maul Killer could have been giving like a rage mode where he just destroys everything but also has a mode where he gets clarity through the force and gets his rage under control so allowing us to pair him with Vader he for sure destroys Sidious but it would have to be a epic battle.
Would have been fun to struggle with his identity, the rage and savagery of Maul with the experiences of Galen, has he tries to stabilize his mind and decides if he wants to be one or the other or a completely new person, his own person.
Anyone who regards Darth Maul as simply a Brute and a Savage does not truly understand Darth Maul.
I wished Stars Wars would've of explored Maulkiller more.

I still love the force unleashed games not only did it give ideas of what the force can do when free of restrictions. But the idea of gray jedi or light sith or just neutral force wielder.
Galen was essentially Anakin if the Jedi didn’t hold bad aspects of the force Vader literally trained Galen how he wished he had the opportunity to train Vader also let him learn from the Jedi he faced in a sense I feel like Vader purposely wanted him to understand the light side to a degree
Galen Marek is my favorite character from Star Wars that is in my custom action figures collection. I also enjoyed giving him a different path in my own stories.
Imagine if Vader put Momin's mask on Maul Killer, he would literally be unstoppable!!!

I was born in '73, so Star Wars has been a part of my since I can remember. I never played the Force Unleashed, but I love the content. Star Killer is an amazing character. Keep it up.
I always love Galen. That's what star wars needs to do now, make a good story and heavy on force powers and light-sabers. Both Force Unleashed games were so good, and are worth play again and again. To bad most star wars games don't do it, like it anymore. Plus games that have a good and bad endings makes a game have more play though abilities.
What he needed was time:
to Breed Dathomirian with Female Sith. who could be Gelen Merak Clone's mate to create prefect Dark force sensitive user but that requires Time which Vadar doesn't have any more.
Also, I think Kenobi killing Maul will bring in Gelan Merak Story. It would Explain how Vadar has Maul's DNA to Clone.

Vader did to met Maul. During his time as Anakin Skywalker he met Maul on multiple occasions during the Clone wars.

Honestly, the thought of a clone comprised of the sheer unrivaled power of Starkiller and the ruthless, hateful ferocity of Darth Maul seems like something that even Palpatine wouldn't be able to stop.
Maulkiller could have the memories of _both_ his progenitors combined, so he wouldn't just remember everything from Force Unleashed 1, but he would also remember Maul's training under Darth Sidious, and the death of Savage Oppress by Sidious' hands, all of those memories fueling Maulkiller with enough power in the Force to crush the *ENTIRE* Death Star itself with Palpatine inside.
Darth Vader FEAR himself was terrified of maulkiller THATS how powerful he was he outright feared him to the point he had him killed moments after his creation

I love Starkiller. He’s so powerful and interesting. He’s more reckless than Revan but they’re both great examples of how to balance the light and dark. Maul killer is cool.

Fun Fact: Normal starkiller was actually still alive. The one we play as in the 2nd game was him. The novel heavily implies it and the game implies it too but not as well as the novel. It makes more sense he was the og starkiller and vader was calling him a clone to try and break his spirit to control him.
You can’t call a hypothesis a fact. Personally, I don’t agree. I do believe we played as a clone based on all the information I’ve gathered myself. Which to me, makes a lot more sense than what you WANT it to be, and I think that it’s perfectly fine that we played as a clone. He’s still him to the core so it’s not so bad really.

I feel like The Force Unleashed games should have been set in the KOTOR era. It just fits better there, as he'd be capable of using both sides and his actions in the Mandalorian Wars would've been perfect for a few games/a show
If Vader could clone something! Why not clone himself? Didn't he have the most potential in the force? Wouldn't he have been the greatest human to use the force? Wasn't he the chosen one of the light side. Didn't Vader think of himself as the Sith'ari?
He was badly burned after the mustafar fight with Kenobi so he lost a lot of force ability due to nerve damage

Combining two beings with the potential of the darkside is never a good idea. But I would've loved to see Starkiller and Maulkiller duke it out.

That's the problem with making hybrids they have a high chance to be unstable physically or mentally or both just look at Jurassic world with the indoraptor and indominus
the time period the first game took place in was insane. During the full strength of the empire, Going to multiple star wars worlds. The music, the story, the spaceships, The whole future feel that star wars gives you. Its just a special special game
i like the force unleashed games but I always hated galen marek. the idea that Palpatine who was constantly looking to replace vader(during this time Palpatine was still using the rule of two) but never noticed galen marek who was able to tear a star destroyer out of the sky. then when he did finally find this perfect force user stronger than the "chosen one" he has vader kill him to prove his loyalty. why wouldn't palp kill vader weaken garen(force lightning) then train him. these games make no sense at all.
Those unleashed games were great and the gameplay was amazing. Story endings wasnt all that good but the games were badass

Funny. If the Imperial scientists had today's technology, they would have known that the answer wasnt to create a hybrid clone of Maul and Starkiller. The better thing to do would have been to clone Starkiller and give him Maul's traits over the course of his life and training through behavior modification and genetic editing.
The best choice would have been mating Starkiller's DNA with a Zabrak female to get something *like* Maul, but not Mual. Loyal to the Dark Side, completely natural, and singular in the Force.

The cloned Starkiller (Subject 1138) seems to have been essentially a technological example of that, done more gradually through flash training rather than in a single instance through strength. The cloned ‘Dark Apprentice’ had his own identity, although he also had Galen Marek’s memories, allowing him to anticipate Starkiller’s thoughts, similar to how Fett clone troopers could anticipate each other’s thought processes, especially those of rookies.

There are novelizations of both TFU and TFU II, I have read them, although it has been a while.

Even in Legends canon how tf did Vader get a sample of Mauls DNA for cloning? I'm pretty sure even back before Disney's current canon he goes to Tatooine and dies trying to kill Obi-Wan. How would Vader ever get a sample of his DNA? He got shot in the face by Owen Lars.

Star killer will always be canon to me and I like to think star killer base was genuinely named after him since Kylo learnt a lot about the Imperial Empire history he probably heard of star killers story too

Maybe I'm alone on this but I don't think Starkiller deserves a spot in canon. It would throw everything off bc of his immense power. Even Vader doesn't show 1/4th of what Starkiller can do in all of canon. I think he is sick but it would mess things up.
I never had problems with how strong Star killer was he was trained by Vader of all people I always thought of it as Vader training himself without the restrictions the Jedi put on him ever Sith sought out apprentices who would eventually over throw them Starkiller is just the one Vader chose he could have easily killed him out of fear that power he shows it what it took to survive Vader to somewhat gain his respect he saw himself in Galen
It's important to remember that in Force Unleashed every Force user is way more powerful than they were in canon.
Galen is strong but he's not nearly as scale breaking as people seem to remember him as when you account for everyone else's power increase.
Personally think Maulbinks would have been the greatest ever. Or perhaps Jar Jar killer?
While a Gungan would have been an interesting choice, trying to mix near-human and Gungan DNA seems a bridge to far to accomplish anything actually useful.

This video just reminded me how utterly disappointing it was that TFU2 was rushed into development the way it was, resulting in a mediocre entry into, and ultimately the death of that franchise.
