Update. It worked. It has worked very well. I did it a little different than this video and it worked. At first, it worked and then the locks wouldn’t work. Then it didn’t work at all. I found another video on this where the guy says there are updates and different procedures to program the unit. So, I don’t know what the heck I did but it was a little different than what’s in this video and it’s working very well now. Good luck you guys. Looks like it’s great.
Guys if you have trouble receiving the confirmation email check your spam folder that’s where mine was also I just installed this on a 22 ram 1500 and I did have to install the ignition tap wire for the system to work. Hope this helps.
Installed, remote started once. Won’t do it again. I’m not calling them to be on hold or wait for emails. I repeated everything a few times. Going to return this kit.
You did not have to tap into the ignition wire on block E of the BCM? I have the exact same looking harness but it is an MPC starter. Install is exactly the same except I am supposed to unplug Block E from BCM and tap into the white/pink wire. FRICKEN IMPOSSIBLE without breaking something.
I still have problems with mine. Don’t even use it. I called the company and they tried to sale me something to “ maybe “ fix the problem!!! I was like are you kidding me

How does this do for cold season does it let you set a timer for the grid heater to heat up or does the truck not let it start until the preheat cycle turns off? I’d like to buy this kit but that one question is stopping me until I know the full answer TIA!
I reached out to Start-X and this is what I got back from. Thank you for your interest in our products. Our kits are programmed to accommodate diesel engine requirements. I have personally never installed one on a diesel hopefully this helps.

I'll be curious to know how it responds to the fast idle on the cummins platform. Just got one for my 23 cummins.

I would think so, but you would definitely need to check with the manufacturer. I have only put these in Ram 2500s
