I just replaced the driver's side door ajar switch. Your video was a big help. Took about an hour start to finish. 2006 F-150, the dome light would not come on when the door was opened and the radio would not turn off. No open door red light on the dash either. Switch fixed it like a champ. Thank you.

When that happens cam lobes are not opening and closing properly creating multiple missfire real sensitive to idle timing good luck

At idle follwing cam has chain slack at idle but catches up at acceleration

Bad tensioner cam is not in sync at idle only on acceleration

Seems like a passenger door sensor is better as you can replace without removing the latch because of the way it spins

Yes I am going through the same issue,sante fe 2019 turbo 2.0 ,burning oil,just went to dealership on the wknd, & literally 2 days after it was changed, it's down again .... these vehicles are crap...I've never had a vehicle that does this in 25 yrs
