Don’t be the dummy I am, so I got all excited and got ahead of myself and popped the hood to put the sticker on before I was done so when I went to test it and it wasn’t working. I was stuck for about an hour. I contacted support and right as I was about to give up I closed the hood and for shits and giggles I tried it with the hood closed and it worked. Good laugh after being dumb founded. Just some info to help
Old post Hood open and won't start, most likely the electronic hood pin safety feature. Plug and play systems dont use a physical hood pin , think the features built into the harness
I just dont get it. I have done everything exactly like you have, LED was solid red like you had it, turned the key to on, green light flashed for some time and then eventually started flashing red 4 times. ive tried resetting the module but nothing seems to work. 2013 Silverado 1500

Yeah… I can remote start it and get in, put the key in and shift into drive and I’m good to go. But, if I turn the truck off and then try and start it, it won’t crank with the key. Nothing at all happens. Idk if a wire came loose somewhere or what. I’m messaging tech support now to see what they think.
I tried it when I installed last night how you tested and it all worked fine. Now it doesn’t. It may need to be reset or a cable has come unplugged or something.

I just hooked this baby up to my 2007 Avalanche and works like a charm. It was easy and took maybe 20 min with proper tools. Excellent video

Depends on the truck mines starting to warm up around 5 minutes of run
How do you use a factory key fob to start your vehicle if since the factory key fob doesn't have a button on it to start a vehicle ?

Yea that is a draw back I’ve seen people disconnect the horn for that reason lol
Go into your vehicle settings on the dash and turn off the horn on lock feature. 👌🏽✅

My Key Fob has a Sentry Key(signal start) to start the vehicle. Will this work by bypassing the Sentry?
I don't have a factory fob due to having manual locks. Can i program the fob to the truck just for this purpose?

Shuts off as soon as you put your foot on the brake to shift to drive, so key is necessary, turned to on position.

No it's plug and play . The horn does blow but you can disable it by turning honk off on lock.@@cameronbeyer7378
