It's been a long couple of months, hasn't it? In a way, we've gotten used to not seeing sports on the television, but it's missed. We get why it's gone: For the protection of the players, but it still doesn't suck.
Despite the growing epidemic that's spreading to other parts of the country, most major professional sports leagues are doing their best to try and get things started up once again. Be it to finish a season or bring unity or for the sake of cold, hard cash, the goal is to get their leagues back on television, with or without fans in attendance.
This video details such exploits, both the successful and attempted. So far, not much failure, but there is a long way to go before most leagues will be back up and running again.

As a Pats fan Im not getting my hopes up. I get Cam is a great talent and this is a great move. Hes been injured as well, and Stitum needs more time to get aqurired to the NFL. If Cam doesnt get injured I could see them going maybe 10-6 but the Bills still got this divison. Theve done better moves in the draft and in free agency. I love my Patriots but at the same time I have to be realistic as well.

I tried watching the AFL but that level of contact with no pads....those dudes are nuts and some hits were hard to stomach lol. Rules are cool though
We had a sports network on cable that would show Australian Rules Football back in the late 80's. I remember two teams wearing what sort of looked like rugby uniforms and some guys in Bermuda shorts and white linen jackets (referees I presume). The announcer (presenters?) gave the score as something like "64, 11, and 20 to 58, 26 and 14 with three knangwomps and two brilliant snallywags in the second."
Most people were walking around the field (pitch?) looking at the ground as if the guy with the beer cooler had lost the keys. Then someone raised their hand, one of the well suited gentleman ran over with a handkerchief and picked something up. They announced that they had found (player's name) ear. Apparently there had been a collision and one player lost a small body part. Play resumed.
I had no idea what the hell was going on, but I was determined to watch the rest of whatever sport this was.

I'll be glad to hear if the NFL season is called off. No way for a bunch of burly men to be tackling each other if there's an outbreak of COVID. I wouldn't want them to continue the kneeling for the anthem charade.
NASCAR handled the resumed schedule in the best possible way, and they're being rewarded for their success.
It also helps that they've had some of the most incredible racing I've seen in a while.
Really makes it fun to watch again.

and not a single wrestler in the WWE or AEW who combine for 4 shows a week plus monthly PPVs during this entire thing have yet to get sick. Any positive cases (which I can't think of off the top of my head but assuming there has at least been a couple) has resulted in nothing. People need to realize COVID is actually less deadly than the flu in a certain demographic and at least half of that demographic don't even get physically ill and those that do, 99% don't even get sick enough to the point of needing medical attention. It is extremely top heavy. The AVERAGE age of death is higher than life expectancy!!!!
But did they find a noose in a wrestlers locker? Have any wrestlers been talking about BLM? Those are what leep people watching and talking these days

With wrestlers in the WWE: Xavier Woods has talked about how his parents gave him the talk about not wearing a hoodie in fear of his life, AEW wrestlers Marq Kwen and Isiah Cassidy "Private Party" wore BLM armbands. I am pretty sure but from the quick google search, Titus O'neil has made a speech about it. Randy Orton, the resident WWE asshat has had a change in perspective on BLM. FTR from AEW has raised money for BLM and AEW has gone onto fund charities for BLM-centric charities.

@@LawrenceW78 Moxley didn't come back positive, he is married to Renee Young, in which case he could be asymptomatic which is why he is self quarantined. QT Marshall is in the same boat of being in contact with someone with corona so he and his students of shawn dean and the like are not able to attend out of the fact that even if they come back negative, it could be a false negative.

He never was so that's really early. The groundskeeper at St. Vincent college wound up chasing his car with garden shears his second year in the league. AB was driving to training camp and purposely drove over the freshly planted flowers almost hitting the head groundskeeper. Because AB almost hit the groundskeeper he started chasing after AB's car with the garden shears that he was trimming the flower garden with. Oh how fun it is to hear stories about how sane some of the players actually are from the permanent residents of the Steelers summer home at St. Vincent.
In regards to the MLB Season: I WAS on the player's side, up until they rejected the 60 games full prorated salary offer. I mean they were getting exactly what they argued for this whole time, but they were really willing to not play because of a few game differences? It just shows that they were never truly serious about playing a season this year.
