A piece of coax to join it to the tuner! It will tune when you transmit. You can also force it into tune mode and transmit a constant carrier (RTTY, FM, AM) while it tunes.
@@HamRadioOutlet did I make a food decision getting thr z100 plus vs the z100a since I'm mainly a yaesu man? I'm sure they all require external power the rig can't power them correct
@KE8ODY-WV-Ares-Ham-Dad-3O4 make sure you check to see if your Yeasu radio is supported before buying the Y-ACC cable. And yes, you need to provide power to the tuner. Some radios have a 12V output for powering accessories, maybe your radio has one.
You made a great decision getting the Z-100Plus. It comes with a battery tray that fits inside and uses AA batteries which will last well over a year with regular use.
Another informative video. I had the pleasure of visiting the Anaheim store earlier this year where I was made to feel very welcome, like I was a regular customer. Unpretentious sales people who know their products and how to listen. KD6KXT
Fantastic Customer service!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy 4th of July 💯🍻
LDG Good companion for your Rigs. HRO Great friend of every Ham ! ❤
Thank you!
@@HamRadioOutlet Thank you !
The AT-200 is a fantastic tuner and LDG has great CS.
Agreed!
I got my Z-11 Pro II from HRO to go with my Yaesu FT-891 and Ham Sticks for my mobile. I run the tuner with a 9 volt battery
That'll work great. I run mine from the 12V source that runs my radio, but I'll probably put AA batteries in it tomorrow, just for a change!
need to get the 600W remote back online - or up to the 1k watt remote for feeding at the feedpoint
Bill Shultz booming voice in the background
No way to stop that man! LOL
So I just got a ldg z100 plus over a z100a I use Yaesu radios I hope I made the right decision
They're both great tuners. The one you got has 2,000 memories! Get the interface cable for even easier tuning.
@@HamRadioOutlet where can I get that cable? Did it come with the z100a bundle?
It's listed in the accessories for the tuner on our web page.
