For those who are wondering why so many clips are from Germany, the licensing company we worked with on this video has a lot of demolition videos from Germany, not sure why but that is why most of these videos were filmed there :)
several of these show just how well the germans built these structures. when they fell, they were still somewhat structurally connected, meaning they had to do some extra work to break it all apart
You’re good. You’ve learned the thing most countdown video channels haven’t: Never say they’re the MOST satisfying or most terrible or most whatever videos. Then no one can come in and claim you missed a better one. As the White King said, “I didn’t say there was nothing better. I said there was nothing like it.”
I dunno why people cry about where the videos come from anyway. So because most of the flood videos in a given upload are from China, they’re somehow not flood videos? I mean, it couldn’t have anything to do with their climate and ecosystems, could it? But I’ve seen people get really angry about it. I dunno if this is because they love China or hate it, tbh…
I am a German born person before the wall fall. Moved back to the USA in the summer of 1990. Loved seeing some of the old stacks again before they fell down. Danka schön.
I’m wondering why this stupid music is playing in the background of your long drawn out narration. Your verbal diarrhea is awful, get to the point.
oh insightful.
All Germany in this one. Loved seeing this. But small note: Essen is a west german city not east.
I did miss the blasting of the Salzbachtal bridge in Wiesbaden though.
Unquestionable German Engineering... Very precise. Gotta love it.
Schau hier:PORR Deutschland: A66 Salzbachtal Bridge, Wiesbaden - Review of blasting and demolition. Weißt du wahrscheinlich schon🙃
Thank you for the update, Underworld..!! Amazing videos of demolition.
8:45 I live next to Gelesenkirchen , and the "Scholven-Powerplant" still exists. They only demolished older parts of the plant, because of inefficiency.
Fact Check: "Most" of the material in a wind turbine is NOT recyclable.
Also, just because some materials can be reused or recycled does NOT mean it is economically or environmentally responsible to do so. The majority of most wind turbine components in the majority of wind turbines are land fill/garbage.
When a demolition goes perfect it is magnificent to watch!
Please use the Metric System as 200+ countries in the world do.
Great video, thanks
2:27 also, I wanna point out the information provided in Germany alone set for demolishment of windmills. The nightmare of trying to score the turbine blades. On top of that they caused more waste that you can’t really do anything with.
Eventually, people are going to wake up that electric vehicles and going green is a fantasy! In reality, it’s a money grab for people who already have money! Watch, other countries are waking up to it realizing that zero is an absolute joke and unrealistic. Electric vehicles cost more money, and more of a headache and unreliable in the long run
@Underworld5s I like your videos btw very much you put a lot of effort into your videos❤😊
wind turbine: approximately 295 tons of steel, 300 cubic yards of concrete, fiberglass blades - only the steel can be reused
well done vid!
I love when Englisch natives pronounce german city names
Uhh a German video :))) I'm from there ^^
It's like they fall in slow-motion
I love how you say that "most" of the demolished wind turbines can be recycled, but fail to state what percentage can recycled and how much waste remains. Nor do you say just how difficult it is to safely dispose of the blades of every single turbine.
Cool 😮
In Slovakia we have demolition of chimneys in dubnica nad vahom
You did good pronouncing the German names!
Isn't the picture at 51 seconds the Imperial Forums in Rome? Not in Magdeburg! Fun fact - Otto I's first wife was Eadgyth, Great granddaughter of Alfred the Great of Wessex.
Underworld 💪💥
The radio towers looked more like Meccano to me, than toothpicks. Some of the metal and some of the brick structures seem to fold like paper.
Cool
The "wraps" are twofold purpose...1. To focus or shape the charge for intended purpose....2. Reduce ejected debris from the blast.....reinforced concrete and rebar usually use sand filled curtains for this purpose.....catchers mit for thousand mile an hour fastball.......😁........

2:23 i’m sorry, but every time I see a window for the rest of my life I’m going to think of 30 coins 2nd season!
If you know you know!
The Gasometer was NOT Phoenix, it was City Gas.
Phoenix Gasometer is still standing ...
I thought this was about demolition, NOT a history Lesson!!!
Why is northern Scotland coloured pink in the map at the start of the video?
First and thank you for this amazing video ❤❤
No one cares if you're first
@ew64andcubey and no one gives a damn about those cringey videos you put out and stop buying your subscribers it's weak like you and if you want to do something about it I live right next to you
Another green energy boondoggle.
forgot BUILDING 7 ...
Wind turbine ruined some of their crop lol
Of course it wouldn't make sense to build a renewable energy source out of materials that couldn't be recycled.. What about the batteries in EV's then? How are they going to dispose of that waste?? I will admit they aren't an energy source but they are supposed to be green!
In my opinion, which only matters to me, there are too many repetitions.
Since when are wind turbines recycled?
I live in germany
Mucho bla, bla. Solo queremos ver la explosión. No la historia de la edificación🤷
PLS PIN ME UNDERWORLD
Why is everything in germany?
👑 ⚜ Royaume de France🕊⛪ Salut ! J’aime mieux les moulins à eau ou à vent du moyen-âge qui sont beaucoup plus écologiques.
