That's exactly what I was thinking... I think the biggest idiot was the bus driver at the end, because only a completely incompetent idiot would attempt that in a school bus while on duty with any children inside.

if you live in a snowy climate...buy snow tires...all seasons are not snow tires...that makes a big difference...
Years ago on my local High Road, an idiot driver, speeded into a bus, in good weather, got stuck to it and caused a traffic jam in two directions, because he went through a junction. Every other driver, hooted, swore or laughed at him. Bad weather just means people like that makes things worse, as in your video. I did once see a bus that had skidded on ice and its back platform was bunkled. This was years ago, when buses had open back platforms, where I live. Come to that even on foot, your should take account of the weather when travelling. Use a weather app before you travel.
That first clip, wow.. I've seen localised patches of fog - but not seen them get this dense... caught a lot of drivers off guard.. that truck driver towards the end probably shat himself
I had to drive in fog more dense then this clip and it is soooooo scary!!! It also snowed a lot so extra scary. Hated it. Only happened once and I hope is will never happen again
@@haddockandbentley2903 I lived in an area with a foggy microclimate at night. Going home in the middle of the night on a motorcycle on the middle line just so I could see it beneath me was bracing.
Always felt like I was going to end up on the other side in a Twilight Zone episode.
No car, SUV or truck is immune to ice on the road, unless they have snow chains and even then ..... be careful. Seeing these smart
drivers speeding all the way through, just give me the chills...!!!!
I think we learned how to say "Oh sh*t" in Russian in the second clip and many holy colorful words in Australian in the third one! Edited to praise the men in India who helped strangers.♥

I’m from Colorado, this 2:35 seen is all too familiar to me. We are prepared for it, but new comers like from California, they are not ready, their cars are not, and they do things like that.
The creators have delivered an exceptional video that deserves the highest accolades.

13:30 - And that is why you dont drive through flooded roads, no matter where you live. You cant see under the water, or know the conditions of the road under its surface. It can give way at any time, not to mention your vehicle can get flooded. And dont think having a snorkel will always help you, those things can fail.

I used to see idiot drivers in the Tucson area do that all the time when we would have flash floods. They would drive around the barricades and next thing you know, they were floating down the river

The fog in England reminded me of the same thing in India where people were jumping out of their cars and almost getting hit with the next crash. There must have been twenty crashes,

I've driven in multiple blizzards and every time while I'm keeping my tiny car slow and steady I get repeatedly passed by giant SUVs and trucks absolutely flying. And you can bet every time I end up seeing those idiots either spun out or in a ditch further up the road. Just because your car is heavy doesn't mean it's immune to poor visibility and slippery roads.
Shout louder at the car... maybe it won't float away. STuPID bus driver dares river with child aboard. Expect lawsuits and serious time out of civilization.

The fog, I'm pretty sure it apply everywhere, drive to the condition - if visibility is low you slow down, I saw a similar video where there is a very heavy dust storm in the US with far worse results

I understand why you would want to slow down in a dense fog, but why stop completely?

I once and only once in 5 years of commuting by car had to drive home after dark in heavy wet snow. My route took me down a hill a good mile long and even at low speed the car kept sliding sideways. Luckily there was almost nothing coming in the opposite direction. Then when I reached the roundabout at the bottom there was thunder snow, with bright pink lightning. And when I finally got home we'd been burgled and all my jewellery stolen. Not the best day of my life.
Dangerous and the double trouble always got at everywhere.. only have you always get taking care alert already.

If you are talking about that one from New Zealand, the driver was an idiot, the moment it got too bad to drive he should have put the hazards on and been driving at a crawl or even stopped.

@heyletsplaythis ...nope. as you head into poor visibility, you decelerate. And sometimes very fast. Those ahead had done so. The folks behind did not 😒. Don't assume that all traffic at all times will maintain highway speed. If you rear-end someone like that, you will be charged with the accident...

It’s the people that drastically slow down that cause accidents and the accidents caused people to be parked on the interstate because they’re too stupid to get off the road. If you’re too afraid to drive, you turn on your hazards and get off the road.
According to your theory, the person recording the video was driving too fast. Next time talk about something you know about.
