Cracking jack Dan, and another awesome video. If your going to have sashimi have pickled ginger with it, it is so yummy

Epic video mate - truly impressive hunting on the jack - you can tell a master of their craft when they drop in on a spot knowing exactly what fish they're going find there. Love the sushi idea on the boat, I'm going to have to try that out when summer finally arrives, I'd absolutely recommend getting some pickled ginger to go with it, adds a good mix of sweetness and acidity to any sushi - turns an 8/10 dish into a 10/10 every time.
I feel you on the Pathos fins, the guy I go diving with has the same ones, they feel super soft and if I'm honest, potentially a little underpowered - compared to my carbon fins, the surface area is a fair bit lower, the pointed tips can't help. We dive a lot of big currents and he does ok in them, although I'm always a fair bit faster, I am a lot fitter than he is though. If you're not diving heavy currents often, probably nothing to stress over.
Great call on the low alcohol beers for the boat, I've made the switch this year, looking forward to some guilt free, post-dive ones in the sun before too long 👌🏼

Thanks mate! Definitely will try with pickled ginger next time… What type of carbons are you running? I’m probably going to get another set for when there is stronger currents (provably DiveR fins)

I got the same size boat I sleep in my swag keeps the mozzies off 👍👍

Yeah I’ve thought about that ay, although half the reason I sleep on the boat sometimes is so I don’t have to setup/pack away the swag haha. Might invest in a mozzie net of some sort

Hey mate, been loving your videos. For future trips might be worth a refresh of the maps in the Jan 24 NSW DPI spearfishing guide.
