- Day 1, I go spearfishing & fishing for some of the tastiest seafood the ocean has to offer. Camp on a sand island, and cook up the days catch over the campfire. Day 2, I pick up a mate and we go diving for the day and have a delicious meal on sunset.
Tops weekend out man. Good ol Moreton Bay producing donuts 🤣
Once again, mate, another awesome effort. This content is genuine and popular. Thanks again Dan. C'mon guys, let's like all the positive comments and leave one yourself to help Dan out. He definitely deserves it
Thanks mate. I’m really enjoying sharing my experiences, means a lot you’re enjoying watching.
Not many yt channels that are prominently in Moreton bay a being my local waters it’s good to see it showing how nice the bay can be with good weather love your work mate keep it up❤
Nothing better than a glass off on the bay. Appreciate you being here man 🙏
Yeah bro I’m getting my popcorn going for this ep
Hahaha love it!
That ceviche looks amazing! Now I have to go out and buy some fresh Kingfish and make some for lunch.
Finally did the orange juice and chilli 😉 loved it. Funny you say that… I speared a kingy a few days after this trip (no footage unfortunately) did some ceviche with it, melted in the mouth and was delicious 👌
Awesome video Dan. I must say your filming and editing is getting a lot better in my opinion. I also love the fact that you only take what you need, great session and even better weather, something we've missed for a while in SEQ
Awesome that means a lot, stoked you’re enjoying!
I caught some snapper on the weekend, made a raw fish salad - was awesome.
Love it!
Love sprouts!!! Good stuff as always Dan the man ya chanel should grow fast ya ridgy didg. The mad mullet 🐟🌴🍻😜
Hated sprouts as a kid now I love them haha. Appreciate ya tuning in again mate

Stoked you’re enjoying them, thanks mate 🙏
Sick vid thats some effort going to the servo for oil and back 😂
We were gonna call it a day but just couldn’t go home knowing there was a high chance of a glass off in the arvo haha
Another cracking vid Dan! That vis looked awful.
Yeah bit sketchy, went in shallow to get that graphic felt a bit better. Should start clearing up nicely soon!
Hey mate love the videos just a tip for next time if the cooktop doesn’t work like that it’s just because the butane can is cold just needs a shake next time keep the videos coming mate 🤙🏽😊
Haha makes sense! thanks mate appreciate you tuning in
Amazing video again Don! Keep coming, lots of support from viewers. Greetings /Finland 👍👋
Good to see you again 🙏
Love these type of videos good job mate
Thanks mate 🙏
Go the kewpie mayo !!!! Premix with seeded mustard 1: 6 and lemon juice drizzle on ya fush bro...!!
Another brill posting from you. Thanks for creating such great content & keeping it genuine & relaxed. Have to ask about your trip to the servo though! You said you bought oil but we didn’t see a fuel can, was that to mix for the 2 Stoke with a tank of unmixed fuel on board? Confused? Thanks again for a great post. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
appreciate it mate. When I picked up Aidan in the morning he brought more fuel but I didn't have enough oil to mix it it all!
Yeooooooooooohoooohoooo :’)
🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Yew!
Thanks for watching 🙏
Mate don’t wind so fast and let the fish come to the lure ok 👍👍
up the chilli!!!
Hahaha bro, a little bit is good actually. I tried again at home a few days later with more chilli, bad idea 😰
goggle box fish for dinner 😂
Look at you bloody Gordon Ramsay at sea
😂😂😂😂
Pretty sure your boat is a Stessco Catcher? Ive got one, love it, set it up with a centre console.
Yeah mate 4.2m catcher, can’t fault it. Awesome little tinny
Hadmine up Cape York 4 times from down here, terrific work horse!
Great vid mate. Is there such a thing called tusky town you spearos refer to in the bay?
thanks man, there is and if its the spot that im thinking of I actually haven't dove it haha. Tusk's everywhere throughout the bay though !
Do you ever run into any Bullsharks,Morton Bay is infested with them.
I’ve had a couple bullies (1.3-1.5mtr) come and check me out diving in these areas. In these areas I’m rarely going deeper then 5mtr, when it’s as dirty as it was this trip I’m generally very shallow. Not saying there’s no chance of sharks but definitely a lot less compared to if I went and dropped on a spot in 10mtr of water in green water, that would be sharkier lol
That looked like rapini amigo. Is it a little bitter? I would not be surprised if the Aussies labeled it wrong haha. I’m just joking I could be completely wrong. I love rapini
I’ve always known it as brocollini? Similar to brocolli but longer stalk and a bit more bitter I guess. where abouts are you from mate?
@@danyoungy well rapini is Italian, I’m from the usa but living in Thailand. I could have the rapini thing wrong I guess I’m not too familiar with brocolini
@@danyoungy but yeah if you’re getting a bitter taste out of it very possible it’s rapini. My grandparents came over from Italy we had rapini all the time although it can look different too making it even more confusing
Love your videos. I have the same motor and similar boat. Your boat seems to be well trimmed. What trim hole do you use?
I’ll check for you when I am back home!
@@danyoungy thanks Dan.
@@stevebourke9769 I have it set in the 3rd hole out from transom. Always been like that never touched it.. maybe could move it out a bit for better performance?
@@danyoungy thanks heaps Dan.
I have mine in the fourth hole. You better seems to be trimmed better than mine.
Where do you launch from and what islands do you fish around?
I launched from Wellington point this time. I fish all the islands..
do you ever get trouts around where you are?
Very very rare for the shallow areas in this video man, although I have seen a couple trout… out offshore in deeper water you can get trout
@ Wello, best place on earth. Also how fast does that 30hp 2 stroke Mercury go on your setup?
Yeah I love wello too ay. Man I’m not 100% sure, around 40ks maybe. I’ve had a few issues with both 2 stroke Mercurys I’ve had on the boat. Blowing head gaskets a few times now, it’s at mechanic right now. Not sure why but I guess I’m using the boat a lot & often times im overweighting the boat a bit as well. Aiming to get it fixed for my next mission then upgrading to a 40hp hopefully 🙏
@@danyoungy I have the same motor, approx Mercury 2006 30hp 2 stroke, electric start with manual pull cord . Me heading out soon to Jabiru Island Boat Ramp at Paradise Point, maybe see you on the water one day, like your videos and your cooking looks yummy mate. Be born and raised Redlands so nice seeing all the usual landmarks off and on the water in your videos. Good work Bro..
what was the island you stayed on the first night?
