    Mohamed Atta went to a flying school just like that one. That flying school is definitely way more suspicious than a camera

    • @terraholdingco
      @terraholdingco 3 месяца назад

      The TSA implemented regulations requiring flight instructors to look for and report what they deem as suspicious behavior to law enforcement. In fact, it's a requirement to work at a flight school, to take and pass a small test regarding exactly the type of encounter LIA provided. They did precisely what they are trained to do.
      These regulations were a direct result of what took place on 9-11, and is the exact reason why so many who LIA encountered, stopped to make contact with him.
      Terrorist organizations, such as Al Qaeda, Isis and others created instructional programs to go to airports, take pictures and video of such facilities, with the intent of studying ways to circumvent security measures, while not being being guilty of any crimes to do so under the United States Constitution. They performed dry runs prior to engaging in 9-11 for this exact purpose, engaging in the exact things LIA was doing at the airport.
      It's a balancing act to keep the American public safe, while affording citizens the maximum freedom allowances all should have. It's a shame there are people who would be willing to do the things they have done against innocent people, but those forces are omnipresent.
      While I am an advocate for the work LIA does, its also great to see the numbers of people who questioned him about what they perceived as suspicious. It means the training is working, the system is alive, and the potential for others to pull off some form of violence against the general public is minimized.
