- N Girls have been an important part of School Idol Festival for the past 5 years. Now, they're getting upgraded versions as SSR cards that you can earn from event rewards on JP. The art style for these cards is also drastically different from what we're used to. What do you guys think about this new development?

Even more than you thought, Shizuku, Emma and Kanata became main charcters in a Love Live Anime!
I actually like this art style, it's not bad and the idolized card style is good. But I don't think I can just... Go to my member list and then see members like Shizuku with that art style.
Of course, if they give us SS stickers when using as a practice partner (just like normal SSR cards) then that'll be awesome. I just don't like the idea of that art style, which is actually *good*, in LLSIF cards.
These SSR's are actually collabs with famous artists !! Shizuku's is Fujima Takuya and Christina's is Hara Yui! Seeing them had me SHOOK but I love this ????? I can't wait for the others oof

the question here is...why they stopped giving extra space as they used to when you levelled up? i delete all my R cards but still have tons of SR+ cards sitting in my giftbox because i don't want to shell out 1 gem for 4 spots nor do i want to delete SR+ cards because it's contra-productive...they are giving us bunch of cards but expect us to "pay" for the space...that's shitty if you ask me

they did...I started playing EN first and my member list space is 208 but I picked JP when no extra space was given anymore and so i'm at the current standard 120 (it is 120,right?)...which is a huge pain. There is hundreds of cards in this game and they tell me to keep it to 120. I don't want to just delete them and only look at them in my album:/
ah I understand if you ever get unidolized duplicates why not idolize sr/ssr/ur cards so then you have more space?

I don't understand why everyone is so upset about the new SSR's?? It's something new and the N girls deserved more love anyways! :)

conflicts with the game's artstyle, but i can understand that. The art is from different artists, not the ones who made the u's/Aqours cards, so you can say this is just an attempt of giving more love to our beloved N cards.
+ the skills are comparably the same as R's, just slightly better.
@@RenShinomiya121 do you think the people that made SIFAllSTARS likes these characters more than the U'S and Aqours from the original love live game. only reason I asked is cause before all stars came out, these characters weren't in this game previously. I actually like both games, and there's some characters I like in all stars, but there just something unique about the original characters.
I've been asking for llsif to make event cards into SSRs but I never expected them to do it to the N girls. A interesting approach.

i'm sobbing in the club my favorite n girls are ryo and koyuki and if they release the ssr cards by order of release i'll be 84 once those two come out
From a F2P player standpoint, I think because of this change it'll be harder to idolize and bond these cards now, and therefore be harder for people to get more LG. N cards are one of the easiest LG sources because its easy to get them and idolizr but now that theyre making them into SSRs, it will really be a struggle for us F2P players to get more gems. Maybe I misunderstood this and they'll only be doing this for an event, if so please tell me bacause I'm hoping they wont entirely change all into SSRs.
U can copy idolize her and bond her for a gem just like before. Dont use SSR seals for that. You Can 6slot her with 3copies it just costs a very little bit more gold but they are more useful than N cards
As a Ftp player who just play games for fun.
This is actually awesome to see some new ArtStyle change and new Ns SSR in LLsif. (It does feel out of place, but is kinda exciting)

You can always do Friend Points scouting. They'll also be adding normal N members there, at least that's what I heard.
Anwyways there are always the R cards, a little bit harder to maximize bond but still easy
N cards only give aroud 4 of the 100 loveca you can get a month.
can we remove deck member limit please? it won't be long till i reach my limit at this pace

The way the art is colored though, it’s kind of BangDream-ish... In my opinion.
My only problem with this is now I’m going to keep them in my inventory so I’ll need to spend love gems to expand it. Why can’t we just have unlimited
I kinda wonder if these will only be event exclusive cards or will they eventually be added to some sort of scouting box like any other event card or will they remain event exclusive cards. I don't see them adding these to actual main boxes or friend scouts.
i think they'll be event exclusives, since they're not as worth as the LoveLive! (u's/Aqours) cards, and they don't even have Voice acting, Group sets and stories.

It's a partnership between LLSIF and a few artists, I'm not sure what artists though.

Oh wow. I don't care about the gameplay implications, they just look awesome. I've been interested in a few of them as I discovered their looks and personalities by getting N cards and idolizing them, so those SSR cards, if they get to the English version eventually, are gonna be something I totally want to have. Hell, I'd probably be willing to spend a few bucks on the game to get some of them, and I'm generally not the type of players who pays in most F2P games.
I think the illustrations were done by another game if I remember correctly?

Who would've thought that an OG N card would become another main character in a Love Live Anime
It took me a moment to realize, but I love how the SSR off the first N girl still has pieces of the love live style, like the face and eye shape. They commissioned famous artists, and the two are so different it's obvious the artists were given some free reign, but I do appreciate that rather than just being original style it's a combination.
I wouldn't work hard at the event for that second N girl card, though, it's kinda ugly in comparison rofl. I play deresute and man is there is ever WHIPLASH there, even just from the same card >.> *side eyes bandai namco*

This is a great idea for the game. I always thought it was a waste making all these N girls just to have them end up as leveling fodder.
The art style for the N Cards is very well done. It's almost like a painting. 🙂

you actually can idolize them more. those gray-ish circles next to the unlocked slots represent spaces you can unlock, to put [tokens? im not actually sure what theyre called] onto the card.
The art was drawn by various well known manga artists they collaborated with. Shizuku was drawn by Fujima Takuya who did many mangas including some idol master, and Christina was drawn by Yui Hara who did Kiniro mosaic.

Those illustrations are NOT from fanartists, rather they're from Japanese illustrators/mangakas (as announced in the Kira Kira Transfer Student Festival)! For this event, Shizuku is illustrated by Takuya Fujima (DOG DAYS, Lyrical Nanoha ViVid) and Christina by Yui Hara (Kiniro Mosaic: Pretty Days) as announced through here: llsif.info/news/jp/2590! Although I'm used to the standard SIF in-house art style, I like to see more varied artstyles in the game.
They're not fan artists in the traditional sense. They're contracted mangaka, but I would still call that "fan" art since it's not by the regular staff.
Umidah Oh, now I see why you called them fanart/fanartist! Though for me, it's still sounds weird to call it fanart. I don't have any better way to call it other than "off-style art" though lol

My favorite is Ensemble Stars because of being able to get URs from events. I don't know other games that do that since I guess I don't play a large variety but playing other games now is just kinda sad. Tiering for an SR that does nothing for your teams. I mean, even if it's a cute card, it's still kinda sad.

From what I gathered, I'm fairly certain that a whole bunch of (different!) famous artists are designing new cards for the N Girls that will probably be featured in events. Whether or not it'll continue after one rotation, we'll have to wait and see.
(Personally, I am very excited for KEI's artwork and for best girl Ruu!!)
I think it's nice to turn the n girls event cards into SSRs, giving them some importance and love (very much looking forward for Ryu) although you won't really get to use them in lives, its still nice to collect them as a whale lolllllllll
It's TOO good for being in this game. At least KLab should redesign all of N cards. It's kinda weird to look only at 2 pretty cards on your list

the art style just doesnt fit the game imo. the initial ssrs are bad enough we dont need this. what even is the point of this they dont have good stats, dont give seals when sold and the unidolized versions have plain backgrounds too... imi wakannai!
hikikomori2002 Because people love N girls too, and it’s better for them to get more promotion. The different art styles comes from different artists, so they’re not taking time off of the official groups, and they’re easier to get than the SRs so these SSRs are really good for newer players.
Matt Siguenza but they dont have good stats? Their skills are rare skills and their center skills are barely any better than rares so they wont even help new players that much
Maybe they put them as SSRs since only URs and SSRs get backgrounds. Hmm idk or maybe they did it to make them stronger than N cards

we can't expect for them to have actual SSR cards since then they'll hog down room for chances getting Aqours/Muse SSRs in scouting. Neither should they (imo) have their own scouting boxes since they don't share the same value as Aqours & Muse cards for many reasons (eg: they don't have their own group story other than personal ones, they don't even have voice actors other than 3 PDP girls)
N girls, to put it bluntly has always been "extras" in the game, but not everyone agrees to let it stay like that
Many people have demanded for more love to be given to these N girls, and these SSRs are how Klab responds to our voice. But Klab can't do more. Having actual SSRs will cause a need for a new scout box. Having the style similar to official ones would cost money and time. It just isn't worth it.
The only reason these SSRs exist is to reply to people's request for love to N girls. Some people just don't care but I know a lot of people do care about N girls
hikikomori2002 the stats don’t look great originally, but with four slots, they’ll fit easily on teams until players get idolized SRs to kick them off. Also, the leader is skill is better than an R as it’s 4%, so still better
