I have been fighting against the evil ISIS along with all the Kurdish fighters to try protect our people your people and everyone else that lives in our region and all the refugees who have fled to Kurdish region in iraq. I have watched some of your podcasts I do think you generalize a bit but its not your fault because you have not been there and if I was in your place I might have been the same hearing so much crazy shit. I think any extreme religious mentality is bad for people regardless of their religion. middle east clearly has lots of work to do but despite that there are many good people here. i'm one of those people that is completely against any religious role in any government. religion should be a harmless private practice for anyone regardless of believes. some of the stuff i might say that might be a little difficult to implement in some countries because their government have used wrong religious tactics to keep them dumb and making them obey what they wanna do with them that combined with bad cultural practices in some arab nations in the middle eat. I don't know if you are ever are interested to come here but if you do let me know, you will be safe trust me and we can go shoot some guns haha but if I do visit the U.S one day would love to have a talk or even on the show, shoot all the questions you want would love to answer them.

To Joe's final point, most people want to submit to authority. They don't want to have to think for themselves. This is why religion and especially Islam are so successful.
You have to make your own code and submit to that. If you make that code in a moral way, it will usually align with many religious rules... There are definitely exceptions though, which is why you gotta think your own code through and not tolerate the bullshit.
This is so true. It's a relief for somebody else to do all the thinking. Early exposure to such dominating ideologies also snuffs out the critical faculties of those raised in them, which in turn leads to adults who are unwilling and unable to discuss things rationally

Just goes to show that "tolerance," much like "diversity" or "inclusivity" is not always an inherently good thing, even though that's the narrative the Left always peddles. Tolerance (in most contexts that its used in political discourse) just means moral and cultural relativism. People often forget that a culture or civilization is defined just as much by what they DON'T tolerate as they are by what they tolerate.
Stupid people don't necessarily reflect the system they think they are describing. The U.S. has explicit values that must be accepted by all residents. The U.S. only strives for reasonable tolerance -- i.e. clearing away arbitrary differences like ethnicity in order to show people real values like material progress and civil cooperation to achieve real advancements to the quality of human life, like technological inventions, medicine, etc, as opposed to superstitious nonsense.
@@johannpopper1493 The U.S. has explicit values that *theoretically* should be accepted by all residents, but are not. They are not even universally accepted/shared among native born Americans. Among foreign people, they are usually only reluctantly accepted (if at all), and are constantly being tested and framed as a form of oppression. Inundate the country year after year with millions of people with totally different values, and the system collapses. That's the whole problem with importing culturally incompatible population groups. Cultural relativism is moral relativism. Open borders equals open values. Culture and values are linked, and culture is strongly correlated to ethnicity. Hence, ethnicity is NOT arbitrary at all when it comes to migration. It is only in the West that we pretend it doesn't matter for fear of social repercussions. Also, the idea of "reasonable" tolerance is subjective. My version is likely far different than yours.
@@SonoftheAllfather It's because the west is taking the wrong approach at integrating migrants, take a look at multicultural and multiethnic countries like Singapore are doing. It's one of the richest countries and the world and has the lowest crime rate in the world and no ghettos thanks to their public housing.
@@bayron45 Singapore is extremely authoritarian and to quell ethnic conflict, they mandated that English be spoken as a universal language. I have been to Singapore when I was in the military, and it's the only place I've ever been that has signs at the airports saying the penalty for drug smuggling is death. And I've been to some horrible countries. We shouldn't have to live in an authoritarian dictatorship just so we can be multicultural/multiethnic. They are arguably not even multicultural, only multiethnic. Multiethnic states can exist, but only if there is a dominant uncompromising monoculture that incoming groups willfully and even joyfully embrace. Multiculturalism doesn't work, and America's dominant ethnocultural majority is under outright hostile attack. Most new immigrants do not want or need to adapt, and more and more people and cultural institutions either do not expect them to adapt or outright discourage them from adapting. The obstacle of having a multiethnic state is that every ethnicity has their own culture that they instinctually desire to preserve. If aspects of that culture are incompatible with the host culture and adaptation is discouraged, it will cause serious problems. In earlier waves of immigration, the expectations were totally uncompromising and there was way more social and economic incentive for migrants to adapt. There was no welfare state. The schools and cultural institutions did not adapt to the migrants, the migrants adapted to them. And those migrants were far more similar (racially, culturally, religiously, etc.) than the newer groups that are immigrating now. Some groups are just way too different, and are even hostile towards the West as a whole. How can we expect those people to be positive additions to our countries given all these circumstances? So our countries are not just failing at integrating migrants, globalists (who hold basically all the power) are deliberately undermining the possibility of immigration even being a potentially positive thing. They are weaponizing it and making it totally destructive for the nation state, and that is the whole point. They don't want nation states to exist. So really, the problem is more complicated, and is due to a series of globalist lies. Globalist/leftist lies will be the undoing of this experiment. Their cultural relativism, their attacks on integration standards, their attacks on traditional culture...all of it is designed to destroy the United States as we know it.

Same thing with Islam, in times where people used to bury girls at birth just because they seemed as a liability Islam came and banned that, woman were sold as materialistic things and regarded as a trade value Islam came and banned that, and made woman more powerful. In times where Europeans used to take a dump in a bowl and then dump it from their windows Islam made people self clean themselves 5 times a day before prayer and showed people how to stay clean at all times. Joe is way too nice about this for a good portion of this clip; almost like he didn't hear what Gad Saad has been saying, almost like he doesn't know about NYC, London, Spain, .... I am an ex-Muslim. I was having an argument with my sister who asserted that Christians denounce those among them who marry Muslims and punish them, and I said no that is not true and asked for evidence. I said there are hundreds of Christian sects and denominations who have differences in doctrine and understanding of the scripture, and that the belief system and practices of these sects differ significantly. So, while there might be a small sect of Christians who do denounce their members for marrying Muslims, there are no overarching authoritative narrative that compelles all Christians to do so.She said there is no need for evidence, and My father jumped in the discussion and said that Christian is faith rejected by God and that they believe in three gods. I said that is simply not true and as I tried to explain why this is false my father told me that I should shut up because I am countering Quranic claims. I was so frustrated because It is really gut wrenching and outright insulting when you deprive someone the right to express his views, and then go on to claim that you have sole knowledge of the ultimate truth. Unfortunately the majority of Muslims are like this. They start their argument by claiming something that has no bases in reality and when you try to counter their assertion they will simply put fingers in their ears and shut you down. Worse, and often in many cases if they detect that you are even mildly non-Islamic they start to vilify you and socially ostracize you. Basically, there is no value and rescue for evidences which is the mark of a rational and constructive argument. And when you demand evidence for their assertions they bring Quran as a testament, yet I say to them that members of other faiths do not acknowledge the credibility and authenticity of the Quran as the word of God and that using the Quran to validate their claims about Quranic verses is circular reasoning.
So you believe in christianity, even though scuentifically its flawed? For example, in the book of genises, 1st page, god created night and day BEFORE he created the sun. Scientific fallacy. The fact the you can't visit that country is a problem they have to deal with and answer for. It's laws does not involve the entirety of Muslim thought, and certainly is not coded into Islamic tradition. This is why many Muslims reject the stance of Wahhabism. Had it been that you lived in an Islamic society, perhaps, let's say under an Islamic state, and not the secular Muslim countries we see today, then surely you would have been afforded residence, acceptance and tolerance as long as you are law abiding, as would any nation require from it's citizens. Just because you know a few Muslims does not mean you get the whole picture, especially when these Muslims fall prey to the encompassing liberal values of the west that is as we can see today so grossly imposed on global society. So again, I urge you to see pass these misconceptions about Islam that is being rammed down your throat by western media.

I listened, and there are so many things wrong with what Gad says. But I kinda understand why he feels the way he does. Islam as a 'doctrine' is to embrace and be tolerant of 'the other'. The problem is those leaders that are supposed to advocate the religion. Personal biases bleed into thier public speeches and then gives Islam a bad rap. Just goes to show that "tolerance," much like "diversity" or "inclusivity" is not always an inherently good thing, even though that's the narrative the Left always peddles. Tolerance (in most contexts that its used in political discourse) just means moral and cultural relativism. People often forget that a culture or civilization is defined just as much by what they DON'T tolerate as they are by what they tolerate.
you can't be too tolerant or you stand for nothing. I often see my Christian co-workers/friends go clubbing and have sex and on Saturday night go to church on Sunday morning then go have out of marriage sex again that evening it's like some Christians are so tolerant to everything like I assumed if the book you believe in says not to do something you would comply if you believe in it. same way you got gay pastors and stuff I'm not homophobic or anything but it's not something I would do or agree with on a personal level but people can do what they want. that's beside the point the bible refutes that but I still see gay pastors. it's like they change the religion to conform to society whereas Muslims unapologetically conform society to the religion. I don't see people with stronger faith than Muslims take it how you will. tolerance is not always a good thing now we got transmen in women's sports due to our "tolerance" and now that tolerance is killing women's sports.

I worked with a lot of east africans and middle-eastern individuals who were Muslim - they were very adamant in their faith and would seek out discussion with people to compare, contrast, and in many cases in the work place even - to inflame a situation or discussion especially when they were met with equanimity, facts, and accurate-as-can-be-managed historical observation. I learned a little somali and learned the arabic alphabet so I could understand what they were saying, and bridge gaps - BUT - no matter what, I was adaank-ka, the "White guy" but it was humanizing in its own way for me to call them "medo-ga" "Black guy" in their own language. They invited me to eat with them during Ramadan when they broke their fasts, I got to know their relatives - they were mostly decent folks, but when you brought up the religion it was MUCH more fervent and powerfully charged than you would ever expect. It is not racist to observe and comment - because if it that is the case then what they are saying is that their cultural identity and religion is more important than their personhood/humanity.

Every system holds the seeds of its own demise. We are open and tolerant to the extent that we can't do but welcome in and tolerate the intolerants.
@@johannpopper1493
The U.S. has explicit values that *theoretically* should be accepted by all residents, but are not.
@@bayron45
Singapore is extremely authoritarian and to quell ethnic conflict, they mandated that English be spoken as a universal language.

I am an ex-Muslim.

"most Muslims are good people"
Yeah even most afghan people are good people
Most Iranians are good people
And still in Muslim majority countries there is homophobia, opression against women, minorities, atheists ....
So this argument is useless, even in Nazi Germany most people were kind and good people, the thing is, when you have an opressive ideology being followed by the majority of people (like Islam), then you will have an opressive country even if most of those people aren't radical.. and the left knows that they already use this approach against the right, for example they say the united states has a white supremacy culture despite that most American people aren't explicit racists but they have subconscious bias, that's their logic against the right, but when it comes to Muslims they say most Muslims are good people therefore Islam is a religion of peace and the only problem is with a small minority of radicals
All of these things happen in countries like Russia as well - homophobia etc etc
@@RS-ti7bz
1st, there is no Russian mass immigration into the west, so "Russian culture" is not an issue for the west

@@hayatcode2975 the mass migration that today is happening is coming form north Africa,Syria, afganistan and from South America to mostly europe and to a little extent america.guess whats common in all those countries these countries were going well then america thought let me send some freedom bombs there and destabilize the the countries.problems in muslims countries you pointed out like homophobia is common all around the world, women right issues are only in some countries with patriarchal societies, every country has minority issues and making it like only due is islam is just naive of you.america has killed 1 million iraqis on basis of some BS.get your act together before lecturing others
@@evonerfin3 nah I disagree.
I am Arab and I lived in both worlds in an arab country and in Europe, minorities rights, women rights, LGBT, anti racism is way better in the west compared to Muslim countries, and I'm not talking about governments only but also the people, in Muslim countries about 70 % at least of people believe that gays are dirty animals that should be at least put in jail or killed, the same goes for atheists or ex Muslims many of them believe that they should be killed or put in jail.
So there is a big difference, when the left says that all cultures are the same they make me laugh, no they aren't the same, there are shitty countries around the world if you compare them to the west then the west would be heaven, in united states you can't even find a single public figure which attacks gays, sure there are homophobic individuals but they are a minority that's why we don't see anyone being homophobic publicly and explicitly, in Muslim countries it's a totally different story, in Muslim countries if you say on tv things like gays are perverts and should be punished it's a totally accepted and respected point of view, in fact the majority of them agree that homosexuals are sick and perverts and consider it as a sin, I can tell you about many examples regarding many issues, for example it's a wide accepted idea that a woman must be obedient to her husband, while in the west that's a minority idea even most Christians Don't believe those to things anymore
@@hayatcode2975 i am muslim dude and i don't agree with western values and gender dysphoria keep it in your countries don't send it here about muslims immigrating there don't destabilize countries and people won't to be desparate to come there to to save their lives. The tradition began as a way to keep cool in deserts and be safe in sandstorms. Respect other cultures, and keep those other cultures out of the usa. We're much better armed than terrorists.
Saudia Arabia is too extreme even on Islamic standards
It's fine to promote this idea that all religions are the same. Until you work with the dude who wont't speak to you because you're woman. He needed a man to work as a mediator with females( i was lower form than ameba) . That happened to me in my country, yet that particular Muslim didn't find nothing disturbing in the fact that half population of my country are females who pay for his family benefits through taxes.
In Islam, we say that interaction between man and woman should only occur when in marriage. Naturally, men are weak and succumb to their desires much more so than women. As much as a man ensure he behaves upright, his thoughts are in constant battle between, a teaching of Islam to "lowering your gaze" and lustful ideas.
And so we say women are not objects for lustful intentions. Islam elevates women in that regard as they are not the embodiment of sex symbols. We say women and men are different and fulfill different roles in society. Women are educators, entrepreneurs, warriors and so much more, but most importantly, Mothers - The foundation to every society. Something which liberal values are trying to eradicate, even by the feminist movement.
It's funny enough though that the secular west still has issues with all of these. Your media certainly fails to show progression on this front. But yet, your western propogandists chose to show you a perspective of Islam that sees woman oppressed and backwards.
So I urge you to see past you liberal and secular indoctrination, and open your mind up to other world views.
@Edward Reeves I certainly don't find atheism or secularism to be the answer to the societal issues we are experiencing as a global community. What are the solutions?

And don't lecture me about muslims because I grew up with them, I work with them, we respect each others, I am invited to their celebrations (Bairam) as they are to mine (Christmas). @@marinamaras4067 I take it you are referring to the States right?. So it's up to discussion as to who's country it is for whomever to practice based on it's dirty colonial history. And had it been a Muslim society, business would have had to halt during the 5 X 20 min prayer times (or rather 3 since the standard business hours includes Dhur, Asr and perhaps Magrib) depending on the operational hours. Beautiful isn't it that regardless of the intensity of the everyday hustle and bustle, it is obligatory to find solace and calm within your working hours, unlike modern secular society that ensure the carbon copy of workers grind and grind to the point of misery. I'm sure whether you believe in God or not, this would be appreciated.
Then this brings me to Saudi Arabia and the Wahhabi factions.

They invited me to eat with them during Ramadan when they broke their fasts, I got to know their relatives - they were mostly decent folks, but when you brought up the religion it was MUCH more fervent and powerfully charged than you would ever expect.

I love how every Muslim here is saying that they don't know about islam. Bro we know that's why we speaking.
"Drugs, drugs. I'm not kidding." Haha Joe Rogan is great.
as an atheist in a Muslim country most what is said is true ,living day by day is really peaceful but that ideology and belief is still there it's just not activated and once it is religious wars are the only outcome , heads will fly in the name of their god , the scariest part is how easy it is to recruit young man to such cause after all it is they believe they are right and god is on their side.
i believe that a safe passage should be opened to the atheists within Muslim countries after all birth isn't a choice sadly down there religion isn't either.
PlZ make the difference between religion and Politics that use religion to gain economic benefits
@I wannabe myself it pains me to say no, being born in a third world country is like a prison sentence, most countries won't grant you a visa and those who do are the same as my own country, being educated and knowledgeable is the worst thing that can happen to you in such places, the brighter you are the more you suffer from suffocation from all the nonsense and imaginary fairy tails.
Thank you so much for checking on me, and just know am not in danger or anything it's just a waist of life to be chained down by such gods.
@@ramjebar936 yes true, for religion to start wars it needs politics to push it, but it won't change the fact that being under a religious rule means waisting a life, freedom and happiness.
@@oussamaoularbi1963 :) what you said seems good but it is in fact an illusion. take as exemple the ww2 has no religions motif but it remains the bloodiest one. Secondly do you know that in USA only 2% of the population share more than the 70% of the wealth more than 58% share less than 25% and almost 40% literally kill each other for 5%( 2020) i do not see too much happiness in that. regarding freedom i do not need to talk about it because what you think freedom is just a way to manipulate people...
Bottom line is that war is more related to economics conflicts than other motif.. i am not saying that the relegion has nothing to do with war but i am saying that the relegion was used to manipulate individuals like for exemple the Crusades, it all started with a freench priest that wanted to keep his political power so he started to manipulate people and the result was a war against his own and others.

@@jenniferharnett3296 First of all there are ton of Israeli people in Australia you need to get to know some of them and you should see the youtube of Avi Yemani. Jennifer it don't makes you bad person or good person to have serton thoughts on your own people but whatever your opinions on what Israel I highly advice to you to come to Israel and talk to people from all the sides of the political spectrom in israel and you should talk to palestinian people and then yoh will have more comprehensive view on what israel do because as israeli that want to have palestinian democracy has friend with israel I can say that the mainstream media exept france 24 never show what really happening here brcause it's to coplicated to put the story of what really happening in 4 mintues video.
I agree Israeli aparteid is very difficult to show in a few minutes
@@jenniferharnett3296 Obviously, your group isn't a collective entity, and therefore you cannot be assigned with collectivized guilt. So the actions of Israel shouldn't make you cringe unless you felt a sense of belonging and therefore, onus, for the actions of Israel. I think it's natural to feel a little onus, even if it's slightly illogical.
That said, I have a question. In my country, members of your group totally dominate the New Left movement. Members of your group basically pioneered Critical Race Theory, which collectively frames my people and our culture as inherently evil and in need of dismantling, which leads a lot of people to hate your group, given that members of your group are the ones mainly responsible for the creation, maintenance, and distribution of these borderline genocidal ideologies.
So I guess my question is twofold: 1.) since you feel onus for the actions of Israel, do you also feel any sense of onus for the overwhelming overrepresentation of your people in movements that are designed to subvert and destroy Europeans as well as traditional Western culture and civilization? I'm asking this honestly and not in bad faith. I'm genuinely curious and I rarely get a chance to speak to anyone from your group. I always wondered why more of your people don't denounce the actions of those within your group. I think if more of them did, there wouldn't be nearly as much anti-Semitism.
"Why should we tolerate this kind of stuff?" YEEES!!! EXACTLY!!! Thank you. Why? Also, I wish when Gad got asked about what's the solution for these Syrian refugees he said send them to the local neighboring Islamic countries that are really rich. Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Bahrain, etc.

Allowing too many different people into an area of settled population. This leads to trouble eventually .
Exactly. I've always argued against multiculturalism, even though I'm a "leftist" non-white person. Human beings evolved to live in tribes and they need the freedom to decide who they're gonna live with. We need to change the concept of nation states or start colonizing the oceans. Just look at the left/right divide in the US. Forcing people with such vastly different ideological/political views to live together is cruel.
