That green velvet notebook you showed is my bujo for this year (but it won't last past September 😪) and I have 2 cats. I'm taking a lint roller to it at least once a week to keep it clean! 😅 But I love the feel of it so much!!
Hi! This is a very helpful video. Something that is very important for me when choosing a notebook for my next bullet journal is the amount of pages. I like to have the whole year in only one notebook. That means that the more common 160 or 192 page notebooks are not an option for me. Thanks for the video!
@@rinyamashita This year I am using the Rettacy dotted notebook. It's an A5 dot grid notebook with 256 ivory pages of 120gsm paper. I don't love it but it works for me for now. I have not decided which notebook to use next year.
I have the same problem! I've stuck almost exclusively to Leuchtturms because of it (though I can't fit a whole year in one - I do six months at a time). Pretty much every time I learn about a new brand/notebook, I'm immediately disappointed because it's less than 200 pages.
If you don’t mind the thin pages (which I actually love) I use stalogy for some of my note notebooks. I just don’t bujo with it because I prefer fewer pages to change things up
I'm finally ready to buy a "real" bujo with tick paper... I'm tired of the bleeding! I have 2 brands in mind so now I'm going to watch your reviews to help me decide 😊
I'm currently using a memo of Norway in Dusty blue color with pvc that feel Like soft leather. A5 dot grit white paper with 353 pages. ❤ Too inki pens bleed through a little bit ghosting but not as much as the Leuchtturm 1917.
@@JashiiCorrin you can try but I must warn you as the paper might not be thick enough for your needs. Still it's a beautiful notebook with an electric and bookmarks, which I cut off as I don't need or liked them. 😂
I loved the simply gilded paper so i started it when I needed a new journal and it just wasn't for me yes it's beautiful I love the paper color but it gave me creators block where as black pages make me more creative
What I wish bullet journal book companies would do it add a cover type option for each design instead of only having one singular cover type, like linen and velvet. I've tried both, velvet is very soft and feels nice to the touch.. but I do not know how to keep it clean if it gets a bit of eraser dirt on it or pet hair (I have a lot of dogs). Cause I swear most newly released bujo notebooks from NotebookTheraphy (my go to shop) very often has linen or velvet covers on their newer designs. I wish there was an option to have certain designs be vegan leather cover, just as you can decide on the size of the notebook I wish there was an option for cover types ;-;
It can be tricky when you LOVE the emblem, but don't really vibe with the cover material 😅 a pick-and-choose system would be so cool, though also add to a LOT of possible combinations 😂
@@JashiiCorrin True, choice overload might be a problem. But for those who are more familiar with what bujo book they want it would just be a nice quality of life improvement uwu
This is the perfect video. I have the Leuchtturm Bullet Journal 2 as my reading journal and i love it. My main problem are the colors. I hate the other colors. Your guide and the excel sheet ist great! I found really fast which one i would like the most. And the one i liked the most is a Leuchtturm as well. I think the 120g one would work for me really good. Amazon order is out and I am waiting for my new baby
I want to know what bullet journal had that colored paper though. . Tbh i feel like ill never find my perfect journal. I prefer more yellow paper..the more yellow, the better. The thicker the better and preferably b5. I want 160 gsm but I'd settle for 120gsm+. I also prefer the soft covers like STM but their paper is SO white which, ive been looking over and using but they also raised the prices 😔
How you deal when you run out pages and it's still nov. Or dec. That's my problem now I think my dec. Spread won't fit in my current journal. And planning to go back to my ring binder journal for next year.
I'm on my first Bullet Journal and am using a Paperage brand with a dot grid, bookmark, elastic, back pocket, and off-white pages. The only thing I don't like is not being able to Wite-Out errors.
"Hot single notebooks in my area" almost made tea come out my nose! (I'm terrified to actually google this, because who knows what people are into, you know?) My top notebook considerations are size (B5 at the smallest) and lie-flat ability. Oh, and not being pink. LOL
I was really wanting to pick up an archer and olive journal this year because aesthetically I love them but it does drive me a bit mad that they don’t have numbered pages 🫤. I’ve been using a lechtuurn (or however you spell it) and the paper just is a little too thin for my liking.
I have a scribbles that matter notebook which is 160 gsm and numbered. They don’t have too many cover designs though. I think the paper is slightly slicker than Archer and Olive though.
“Hot single notebooks in my area”
I giggled so hard 😂 loved all of the suggestions!!
😂 glad you liked that one
Left Handed Friendly is another thing - slow drying paper makes me look like an escaped criminal covered in fingerprint dust.
😂 haha that's certainly a visual!
I love loose leave binders as my bullet journal, because I usually move things around or want to add things.

i LOVE the database!!!!!! Very cool
Thanks! I hope it's helpful for people 💜😄
Great video, I know most people use these type of notebooks but I think I prefer a spiral notebook or binder type system.
Heck yeah for knowing what you like 💪 I can totally see the benefit of a binder system 💜

@JashiiCorrin I got 2 of them 🙈 and i turned the one I started into my workout journal but now I wonder if I should sell the second one or not 😂

Fair 👏 I started with LT1917 and that was something that bothered me too
do you have a video covering the setup pictured at 5:40? it's so beautiful
It says June but it's not from this year I think
Okay I found it's, it's from three years ago titled "June setup geometric moons and mountains theme"
Glad you found it! 💜😄 Just in case anyone else goes looking:
