Not unpopular opinion: Having Anurag Kashyap for 43 odd minutes and wasting more than half of it on a quiz was underwhelming to say the least. The quiz in itself was interesting but surely a waste of time as it took up more than half of the total length of the video. The guys you bring on the show are worth listening to, let them talk.

Oh man!! Missed opportunity.. we would’ve gotten some great film recommendations from a person who famously has a collection of world cinema in his living room..
You can't invite a legend like Anurag Kashyap on a recommendations channel & not get movie reccos...
With utmost respect, I physically cringe when Vaibhav asks that "Day-Night" book question to literally anyone.
You should have asked for more recommendations on films, insta pages, blogs, music etc.. similar to what you did with KV , Rohan Joshi... Those 2 episodes were goldmine of recommendations

Hey just a suggestion, i wanted a little more discussion on why or how Camus or Kafka book made an impact on him, if it's possible stay on books topics a little more, i wanted to hear anurag's analysis on them. But yes. Amazing episode. Kudos
May be Kafka's middle class upbringing and his relationship with authoritarian father is something that Anuraag sir relates with. These things seep into their stories and influence them if you notice.

There was so much opportunity to ask him more about cinema, ask him pop culture stuff, ask his character analysis of iconic characters in Indian and World cinema and you asked him food recommendations!?

I have watched a lot of Anurag sir's interviews. In most of his interviews he is giving all those intellectual filmmaker answers. It is good to see him talk about things other than movies. My favourite part of the interview is that Matar Paneer recipe from him. ✨❤️
I think you managed to make conversation even with Kashayap sound boring and tedious...he is so interesting and entertaining as a talker otherwise...try the format of his interview with Galatta plus, just a suggestion

Someone needs to tell these people that its the time they step out of south Delhi/ south Bombay comfort zone if they really want this channel to grow. there is a real gap. Anurag can kick Home minister's ass publicly and you all can't even dare to take a political stand in fear of loosing a few followers. What's the point of recommending books/movies/shows all day if we don't know where does the recommender's social needle point? think of this guys. Staying with you since years just to see this channel blossom one fine day.
Is the "social needle of the recommender" really important to know? I mean if you're taking anything out of it should just be the recommendation and not anything else. For ex: i personally don't resonate with RoJo's 'social needle' but i absolutely am enjoying his reccos.

I have been a fan of chalchitra talks it made me watch , read , explore and discover many things. but i really dont like this interview . i felt like this was a great opportunity to make him talk about his writing , make him talk about his favourite books and specially screenplays and many things. i like the way you guys took the interview of naseer sir it opened a new set of writers for me and also questions on urdu writings it was nice. i hope you would have talked about reccomendations of series, documentries, world cinema.
i feel like he would have given us a way to explore other countries cinema which we dont know.

I think what CCT tried to do was show the other side of Anurag Kashyap who watches Hritik Roshan’s dance videos, Insta Reels, and loves cooking. Because there are multiple videos where Kashyap has talked about Movies/TV Show, but this is the first one where I found out about what he does when he isn’t working and decide not to watch a film/tv series. In his recent video, he also mentioned he hasn't been watching a lot of films. So I kind of liked this format. And I LOVED the quiz.

Just for the sake of being different than others, you guys lost this interview's purpose, quiz? like seriously. Would've been much better if this was dedicated to recommendations and some geniune talks.
Above all quiz was extremely pretentiously formed, question has no relation whatsoever with answers
