Every once in awhile in the rock music universe a guitarist will come around and just knock everyone out. Eddie Van Halen was one of those guys. With their first album he ripped into some guitar playing that others might have dabbled in but Eddie put a rocket engine on it and changed overnight the way guitarist were playing. This song is more keyboards but it isn’t hard to find a guitar heavy song from these guys.

I was 19 years old when I saw Van Halen in Chicago back in 1978 at th Internacional amphithiater at Halsted st! That's why I Jump! Rip Eddie!!!
This song is about no matter how scared or worried you are to get out of your comfort zone, that you just need to jump in with both feet. Whether it is starting a new career, relocating to a new area, or whatever, you jump in and run with your new found wants, needs and desires. It may seem to difficult to handle at some point, but you now know what is real and what you need to do to live your best life. You cannot hide from what you want to do or else regret will be all you know one day.

Eddie is hands down the greatest guitarist that has ever lived and I feel deeply blessed to have grown up listening to his incredible music and genius guitar playing. If you have not seen it you have to watch Eddie's Eruption guitar solo from their "Without a net " tour. He will leave you speechless!!!!
Now I know you guys LOVE Michael Jackson, and his excellent contribution to the music industry. It’s time for you guys to listen to “Beat It” again and realise that the lead guitarist that Michael pursued for the song was Eddie Van Halen, and OMG, what a brilliant performance Eddie contributed to Michael’s “Beat It” and as a hard rock artist/musician and songwriter, I do think that Michael has contributed greatly to the entire music industry and community. 🇦🇺👏👏👏🦘

Really, I didn't understand how anyone couldn't like David Lee. He was ridiculous.
Eddie the guitar player his brother Alex is the drummer their dad was a professional big band player that song came out 1980 for the lead singer didn't even want it on the album your guitar player nobody wants to hear you play keyboards fought him tooth and nail about putting that song on the album and it went to number one and if you recognize Eddie he is a guitar player from the song beat It Michael Jackson.
Guys Jump is not capturing the real Van Halen. You have to get in to their other songs.
