Bit sad they got rid of Space Grey, I Think it's the best colour not too dark to where you can see fingerprints a lot, but still a bit sleeker and stealthier than Silver - But great video on the colour comparison especially in all the different angles and lighting really helps to showcase each one. Probably the best video ive seen in terms of showcasing each colour well done mate.
I think Apple knows that they can't do anything too black because these are still anodized aluminum laptops.They always want a controlled light reflectivity to them so they feel/look premium, and aluminum is just their signature. "Black under certain conditions." Consumers have been asking for a black MacBook for since the last one came out in 2008, but because of the way they like their aluminum material, no dice. So I understand why this took so long for them and it's probably the darkest they can go without changing the material entirely. That said, it sucks that all the laptops they make are kinda the same now lol. I miss the weird circular plastic shapes of their older models to vary it up

Space black is an instant no. Safest choice is space gray. But it looks like most laptops out there. So I choose classic silver. It's the most stylish.
I had silver for 8 years and spilled tea on it and am frustrated. Now I bought two 14” and 16” in the black and I don’t like either one. Apple is going to hate me 😂 taking all these back
I know people like the new and shiny toy but, space gray is my flex I am infatuated by the color.I'm assuming m4 max will come with thunderbolt 5, which is what I'm waiting for, but I like space gray so much that if they don't bring it back for m4 max I may not upgrade my space gray m1 max. If anything, Apple should just offer all three colors on the Max OR make a color in the middle in between space gray and space black. I would take that.
@@crazygulrot all the laptops besides the silver have some susceptibility to finger prints. Some more than others. Space grey is much better at hiding prints than the black MacBook Air / MacBook Pro. But if your fingers are greasy it will show a little. But not much. But it’s nothing a soft microfiber cloth can’t easily cure.
Great effort in the video. Really appreciated. I am the odd one as I like space grey the most. But I thinking about the pro chip and I will go for silver. Just traveling Asia with a space grey MacBook Air and is annoying how the dost covering all black elements. But is almost investable on the space grey body.

I like Space Grey the most and it was absolutely fine on my 14" M1 Pro MBP. Considering upgrading for the M4 Pro / Max chip to run local LLMs but really undecided. Love 14" for factor, but afraid of getting it with M4 Max chip for heat / noise concerns mostly. Moreover new MBPs Space Black color seem to be a fingerprint magnet compared to Space Grey(?) and silver is kind of… okeish… I know I know… it is just that spending big money on a device you literally want to be happy about all that it offers. How is Space Grey compared to Space Black in real life use in regards of fingerprints?
The black scratches too easy & exposes the silver… space gray was great! So sad that I have to pick Silver M4Pro, its white appearance won’t match my desk setup!

Going for silver this year. Can’t go wrong with it and fingerprints aren’t the worst. Including the color doesn’t fade over time.

Space grey is the best for me - not so bright as silver when you watching movies or working with video, and not susceptible to fingerprints and dirt
the silver colour is amazing. I went to the apple store and saw the fingerprints were almost hidden compared with others.

I just made a mistake by ordering space grey
It is running Ventura because Apple lied about 8GB being enough.
Space Black looks cheap. but the keyboard area looks better than the silver
Solution: Get the Space Black with a skin and enjoy the keyboard
14 inch space grey is now associated with the lower tiers, unless it’s an M1 from 2021… Shame as it’s the best colour imho
