Great job Mike showing us the 35GL! And, great job Fleetwood with something that really is unique in design. WE love the Fleetwood products and have owned two of them... a diesel Bounder and now we own the Jamboree 31u. Fleetwood really does a great job with their designs, features and quality of build. This model is on our short list for our next RV. Thank you!
This by far is my favorite floor plan in a gas motorhome. Refreshing and different. Things I'd like to see is power outlets at the dinette for work station purposes. I'd like to see the shower and it's dimensions. Personally, I'd prefer additional drawers in the bedroom and have the washer/dryer as an option. Once again Mike, great job!

Wow, thats not my Uncles 1989 Bounder anymore! Bringing back the popular 80s/90s mid entry gas design, love it! I remember the days when there were two club chairs, a pocket table and a bar/TV cabinet all between entry door and passenger seat. That design was great because we had more "awning" space outside which this model has. Bring back the driver cab door! That was such a great feature, Dad felt like a real "Trucker" back in the Eleganza/Cambria model days every time he jumped out that door at the gas station. Most new RVers have no idea that Fleetwood Bounder revolutionized Class A motorhome design. There is NO Class A product on the market today that "isn't" based on the original 1986 Bounder concept! Very fresh and modern updated styling both inside and out. Leading design from legendary Fleetwood RV!
Matthew, Thank you for the comment. As you stated the Bounder set the standard for all class A motorhomes. John Crean was the owner of Fleetwood and designed the Bounder himself by using the feedback of users he met setting around the fire pit at the campgrounds. Thanks again - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv My father and I met him once in Riverside during a plant tour, gosh I was probably in 8 or 9th grade. Great floorplan! I like that you guys put an emphasis on kitchen and counter space and not how many couches you can cram into it like the others. Most often these are bought by couples and they need more than 2' of counter space. Bravo
Frank, Thank you for the comment! Yes, counter top space is very important. LOL, the more couches you have the more people will want to come. Thanks - Mike -
We love everything about this one inside and outside. Wouldn’t change anything. The mid-entry unit in our opinion is the best, gives a lot more space. This one could also be a great couples Class A motor home. 👍👍👍

Great video Mike , love how fleetwood kept the exterior pretty much the same style , the interior is nice , quick shout out to amp to glamp for the video that you allowed them to tour your facility, now I know how rig was assembled . Great video once again can’t wait for spring time .
Love the floorplan and that desk dinning table is very nice I hate dinning tables in any RV take it from a full time RV person most full timers hate the tables and don't use them you found a way to make them look good and be usable nice job
Santa, Thanks for watching. I agree with you. I dont think I would want a full size dinette either. Our Design team did an amazing job with this Adap"table". - Mike -
Outstanding! Can't wait to see the capacities and CCC of the 35GL. Our only major dislike is placement of the TV in the living area - it's high and offset. It would have been perfect if on a televator behind the dinette area/below the window, or centered on the cabinets above so it was directly opposite of the theater seats.
Mike I messed up. Anyway when you are sleeping can you get up to go to the bathroom in between the washer and dryer? Love that side by side washer and dryer!
Ron. The side by side washer and dryer is an awesome feature to have! I will check on the available room around the bed when in sleeping mode. Thanks - Mike -
Sandy, The Adap"Table" dinette comes standard in the 35GL. A free standing credenza is not available. However, we do have a booth dinette option if that is something you may be interested in. I would have to look to see where the fuse box is located. Thanks - Mike -
Hi Mike, this is very new, and nice motorhome!!! Will this particular floorplan, or others be available in all electric, or diesel? The wife and I will see you at the Tampa RV Supershow! What will be the build time for this floorplan? Thanks for the early review, as always you do a great job explaining all of the features Fleetwood has to offer! Lenny from Twinsburg Oh. ( The guy that Tom Bennett had to put on brakes with his hand on a test drive. LOL
LOL !! Lenny I will never forget that story! I am not sure what our design team is working on behind the curtain. We do not have an Aquahot incorporated into a gas unit at this point. This particular unit is available and will be in Tampa. As far as new orders we are probably looking into March - April. Thanks for watching - Mike -
Great new floorplan, kitchen layout, well done. I hope you will do a walkthrough on the Vacationer 35GL, I know they are the same floor plan but would enjoy seeing the colors and front and read caps.
Stephen, Thank you for watching. Yes, the 35K is hard to part with. That is the number one selling floorplan for a reason. I hope you enjoy your Bounder and if you have any questions let us know. - Mike -
What is the size of the bunk mattress? Also with the table, does the rotation "lock" or is it going to rotate from people just leaning forward or if they brush it walking by?
The overhead bunk is approx. 4 feet by 6 feet. The table doesn't "lock" when spun, but it does have a catch that keeps it in place until you want to spin it. A light bump will not spin it, a hard bump might.
Thank you. Very nice! I'd have to have a bath and a half...not a fan of the 2nd sink in the hall and no oven. CCC? Love the kitchen layout and the interior colors.
I do like the kitchen layout of the 2022 35GL, and it has separate washer/dryer. However, I definitely prefer our Bounder 2021 36F: PRIVACY / ACCESSIBILITY PROBLEM: - 35GL: if someone uses the shower, the entire back of the motorhome (the only commode, the master bedroom, and laundry) becomes inaccessible to pass through unless the person taking a shower doesn't mind a person entering the back section seeing them in the shower. - 36F has 2 full (sink, commode, shower) private bathrooms. We like to have friends come and spend a few days with us. In our 36F, our guests have their own bathroom (commode, sink, mirror, private place to shower and change clothes, etc.) without blocking access to any other part of the motorhome. We can be in the master bedroom, close the bedroom door and have privacy of the bedroom and back full bath (sink, commode, shower, combo washer/dryer which is fine for our needs). SLEEPING WITHOUT EXTENDING SLIDES: - 35GL master bed - if you have to do an overnight at a rest area or truck stop and can't open your slide-outs, sleeping area is limited to half the bed - sleep sideways at the foot of the bed (sheets and bed cover not in right direction for that) since the folding bed cannot be extended without opening the slide. - 36F master bed is always flat SLEEPING CAPACITY: - 35GL 3-4? adults (depending on the slide being opened) in this unit (Drop down 2, master 1-2, maybe on recliners??). - 36F has much more sleeping capacity. 8-10 (Drop down 2, master 2, bunkhouse 2, jackknife couch (1 adult or 2 children), dinette: 1 adult or 2 children). TV VIEWING: - 36F main television is at eye level when seated. I don't like the 35GL main television being so high in the air causing you to have to recline in a chair to avoid straining your neck. NO FIREPLACE!: - 35GL does not have a fireplace. - We enjoy and use ours almost every day in our 36F. INTERIOR STORAGE: - 36F has ample storage (lots of closet space in master bedroom, under the master bed, in the bunkhouse when not using it for sleeping, under dinette drawers). - 35GL no under-bed storage, 2 additional folding chairs to allow dining table to seat 4 people have to be stored in existing closet space. PROBLEMS THAT SHOULDN'T BE: - 35GL - the washer and dryer positions would be much more convenient if they were switched, so clothes could be transferred from washer to dryer without having both doors blocking your path. - 35GL passenger desk tray is on a hinge. 36F 2021 passenger desk tray slides out without disturbing items on dashboard surface above it. Looks like Fleetwood may have changed that on all 2022 Bounders, seems like a step backward.
Love love this floor plan! Great video and wish I had stopped by your booth at the Tampa show. Perhaps a weird question, about the entry steps. I can’t tell by the pic but is it a 2 step or 3 step system into the coach? My wife found it extremely difficult with her knees to climb into a coach with only 2 steps. Thanks in advance.
Stephen, Thank you for watching. The Bounder 35GL has 2 steps leading into the coach. I believe there are several aftermarket options available to get and additional step. Thanks - Mike -
Thanks for the great video. I love this layout, open and very roomy. Has anyone ever thought about putting the washer and dryer under the bus? I understand you think it’s convenient in the bus, I’m thinking more space for clothes. I guess the other side of this is people might not want it if they use the bus during winter?
Linda, Thanks for Watching ! That is an interesting Idea. I personally have never seen it. I can see where it would be beneficial to some. Thanks for the Idea. - Mike -
Really nice RV for sure. I just have one question, the Blueray player is behind the TV in a closed cabnet, so how do you cantrol it without getting up and opening the cabnet or if your watching it from another TV?
Plymouth Man, Thanks for watching. If you are watching a movie in another room Via the Blueray player. You would have to get up and go to the receiver to access your controls. I know there are aftermarket parts you can buy at a retail store such as Best Buy that will allow you to control devices from another room by converting the IR signal to a radio wave. I hope this information helps. Thanks - Mike -
Very nice presentation Fleetwood. 2 things I would change, LG 4.5 cuft washer dryer, ( No cabinet doors in front) Dyson V11 hanging in closet. Bounder 35E here full time since 2018. O , and if Fleetwood could mussel Onan to not put plastic carburetors on your generators. Seeing everyone of them getting warranted out for the original metal carburetors.
Love this floor plan. Is the Ford V-10 no longer an engine option? What liter V-8 is being used and have you come up with some numbers for this unit? Thanks!
Would prefer a stacked washer dryer to the side versus having to bend down to access the washer and dryer where they currently are located. It also appears that the bed would be hard to get around when it is not in the articulated mode. I love her, I do love what you’ve done with the kitchen. That is very innovative thinking, and if you would just lower the table somewhat, it would be perfect.
Norma, Thanks you for all the feedback, I will take a look at the room available to get around the bed when it is put in the flat sleeping position soon as I meet up with this unit again. We appreciate you watching. - Mike -
Really nice floorplan, well done. I like the split kitchen and the entry further back on the unit. I'll keep checking the website for this floorplan to be listed. I'd like to see options and detailed specs.
Kris, Thank you for watching. We do not offer a standard option to add an induction cooktop. We may be able to do an SOC if that is something your interested in. Thanks - Mike -
My partner and I have been looking for a nice size RV to tour the country and see all the national parks. I love the towing capacity. This Bounder is beautiful for sure. I love the floor plan. I don't understand why you would have a rear fuel fill on a 35-foot RV? Better hope the fuel station can accommodate your RV hanging out into the traffic lane. Lots of basement storage but wow, could the calking be sloppier? This being the first unit off the line and designated to be the show model, one would think extra care would be taken. I look forward to seeing it in person at the Tampa show.
Love the floor plan and the finish on the cabinets. Bravo. Sorry, but I don't like the crazy fugly graphics. Sometimes less is more. Where do I plug in my laptop, phone, tablet, Cricut, desk lamp and hot glue gun when at the desk? I didn't see any regular outlets or USB outlets on that wall. Are there any? The only outlets I could see are the pop up outlets at the sink. If I put my coffee maker, instant pot and induction cook top on the counter where the stove is, where do I plug them in? Is there a hood fan to vent the steam from the Instant Pot?
Stephen, LOL, That is a good question !!! this is a new product so not many out their. We did take several orders on the 35GL at Tampa as it is an amazing floorplan. I unfortunately cant say when one will land on the dealers lot. thanks - Mike -
Great presentation! It is wonderful to see a pre-production model. Great idea to return the washer & dryer vs. only combo unit. The kitchen table is great, and reminds me of the Discovery model that was introduce for the 25th anniversary. Lastly, with there be a 35 foot Southwind model with a washer & dryer ? Anxiously waiting for the data to appear on the Fleetwood website to see all the options. Best, Steve from Western Mass.
Steven, hope all is well. The 35GL will be available in a Southwind as well and that will include a side by side washer and dryer. Thanks for watching !! - Mike -
Why is there carpet under the fridge and stove area? That is the one place I am bound to spill something. Saying that, LOVE the floorplan and the cool table. Wish I could have seen inside the shower.
We really like the 35GL, have a few questions and comments. Where are the house batteries? you mentioned the cranking battery was in the front. Bedroom needs more drawers for us making long trips. Also agree with one of the other comments about moving the living space TV down and putting on a televator behind the dinette. There is plenty of room to make the cabinet 6" deeper to add the televator and push the dinette out into the living space. Just add another cabinet door to use the storage space behind the existing TV location. You never answered a question in one comment about a full electric option to eliminate propane?
I think I missed the numbers. What is the CCC? I heard 1000 lbs but with a full 100 gallons (830 lbs) of water and one driver at 180 lbs, aren't you over loaded before you bring in one pan to the kitchen? I hope I'm wrong, because the wife loves it.
A couple observations. I agree on the TV comment to put it in a better location or even an opposite televator. I agree on fixing the dash raido display. It takes ones attention too far away from the windshield at that location (safety first) as It can easily be in the previous dash spot. I did not see if there were AC outlets at the dining/desk location. If not, there needs to be. WATER HEATER LOCATION! This needs to be central to coach near the wet area of the kitchen and bath. Otherwise, you will waste water waiting for a warm stream to come from the rear. Dry campers will appreciate this. In my 33C it's right below the bath sink/shower and hot water is instant. Bedroom needs more drawers. What's in that dead space below the two bedroom drawers? Is that accesssable? Other issues are minor and can be fixed, aftermarket. When will this be in full production?
Off Grid Circuits, Thanks for watching, the reason the TV is not on a televator behind the Adap"Table" is because we offer a booth dinette as an option. The booth dinette extends out into the aisleway a lot further than the Adap"Table". This would not allow customers to get to the rear of the coach or out the door if we incorporated the televator. - Our engineers are aware of the viewing angle on the center mounted display. They are working on a solution. - Lastly, the dead space below the two bedroom drawers is where your water heater and furnace are mounted. These units are starting to trickle onto the production line now. If this is something your interested in I would reach out to your local Fleetwood dealer. We will also have one at the Tampa Super Show if that is an option for you. Thanks for sharing your observations. - Mike -
Fleetwood, as an owner I appreciate the quality of your product and continuing improvement. This makes me wonder about the batteries and storage methods in your new models. I think it's time to move to lithium house batteries and with that upgrade the storage area. Leaving lithium exposed to the open underside isn't winter friendly for lithium. How about putting in a lithium friendly storage area that is warm and secure. The sliding tray is great but not if the bottom is open to the elements. Keep up the good product.
My wife and I are looking to buy this unit to live out of permanently as our home is being bought out by a developer, we seen it at the Tampa RV show very nice our favorite.
The only thing Fleetwood needs to start doing with their gas class A coaches is adding some accent lighting. Newmar does that with some of their gas coaches. It makes a huge difference too.
@@fleetwoodrv I'm partial to Fleetwood. But Newmar is adding accent lights to their Gas coaches now. Maybe just an option box you guys could add. Most people buying diesel pushers aren't buying them for the accent lights anyway. I really don't think it would "step on" your diesel coach sales to offer the "extra fancy" touches in the gas models as well... I have a gas coach because that's what I want. I don't need a diesel. And I redid my interior, it looks like a country coach inside now. Everything you guys did is still there, I just added things. I changed the window valances, added accent lights and prettied everything up. You would think it was a $400,000 coach lol if you're drunk 🤣 lol Jk but really, it feels like couple hundred thousand inside and it's 26 yrs old. Solid as a rock. I upgraded the wheel bearings, and the tires, I can carry a little bit more weight than factory specs safely, not legally lol 😜
Marie, Thanks for watching and commenting! This is the first unit off the production line. How many sleeping positions and seatbelts depends on how you option out your unit. I would say you could sleep 6 ? ( 2 in drop down bunk, 2 in master bedroom, 1 dinette, and 1 sofa). I will have to check with engineering on how many seat belts are included with this configuration. Thanks - Mike -
Elizabeth, Thanks for watching !! Yes, the kitchen sink in the 35GL features a single large opening. So there will be no problem washing those bigger dishes and appliances. - Mike -
Seems like a great model for couples. Really great kitchen space! The access to the coach during travel is awesome, but it is a shame that the bed side has to be out for more than one person to use the bed. Not specific to this model, but I still really dislike the new placement of the radio/carplay/gps monitor -- it seems like a safety hazard having to look so far and down to the right to use. While I have not been in one with this recent change, the old monitor layout was a surprisingly (at least for me) big reason I bought my 2018.
Brent, Thank you for Feedback, Watching, and Commenting !! We use the articulating bed to allow for larger wardrobes on the opposing sides. Yes 2 people will be tight. Thanks - Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv Absolutely. It is trade-off for sure--that's why I think it would be great for couples. I think it may be a little more limiting for families / boondocking where you can't open slides. Love my Bounder and can't wait to start looking for a Fleetwood Diesel at some point. However, if you are tracking comments about the center monitor, please enter a vote to return to the former layout. Thanks for responding and the great joy you have given my family!
Would prefer an open view from the kitchen to the living area and to have the TV lower but a nice layout overall. Could do without the carpet section for the slide but probably easier said than done.
Gary, appreciate you watching! Yes, we need the carpet there to cover the seam on any flush floor slide. If we implement a thicker material such as tarkett flooring, Then all of our cabinets will not fit since we run such tight tolerances. Thanks - Mike -
I always thought if we bought a MH it would have to be a "pusher". Now I'm not so sure. I am totally impressed with this unit, and your tour is extremely complete. The colors, the amenities, everything shows real attention to detail. However, I'm not going to be a fan of the rear fueling thing. I can see this being a PITA in many fueling stops. And I've always wondered why most motorhomes don't have a driver's door. This makes no sense to me. Dumping the washer and dryer would be my first real change. And, if an old fashioned RV fridge would be available (because we are 90% boondockers), this would be hit out of the ballpark. Really nice job, including the outside paint options. We're trailer people (over 25 years) but this is the first MH that has me squeezing my chin in contemplation. :)
Stan, The bounder has (4) 6V house batteries located under the interior steps. We do not offer lithium as a factory option. We could possibly to an SOC if that is something your interested in. Thanks for watching. - Mike -
Love this new floor and the coach is absolutely stunning. L-U-X-U-R-I-O-U-S!! The kitchen is a home run. Love the color options. Bounder has been the staple product for Fleetwood since the 1980's. Innovators and master designers! Love the product. A couple of suggestions. Can a TV be moved to go behind the dinette? That would make it easier to watch. Also, the bedroom could use a few more drawers. Is a booth an option on this coach as well?
Chris, Thanks for watching. The Bounder has a very interesting story behind it. Basically the Bounder set the standard for class A motorhomes. I will pass your suggestions to our design team to get their thoughts. Thank you for your feedback. - Mike -
I don't have a kitchen table in my living room at home, what makes you think I want one in my motorhome? If it wasn't for that I would buy one, great coach but that's a deal breaker.
N8 H20, Thanks for watching, If this is not the exact floorplans that fits your needs make sure to check out the other floorplans in the Fleetwood lineup. - Mike -
Why does Fleetwood continue with carpeting? Grand Design has finally gotten rid of it - It is a deal breaker for us. Thank you to Mike - Good presentations.
C Warn, Thank You for watching and commenting! We have dramatically reduced the amount of carpet being used in our product. Although we do have some that is used to cover the seam created by the flush mounted slide boxes. - Mike -
Karla, There is no "Dedicated" pantry. Although, there is a tremendous amount of storage in the kitchen on a 35GL. Thank you for watching and commenting. If you have any questions let us know. - Mike -
funny how they still plug in a blueray player. It's a 2022 Bounder not a 1999 model right? I'm sorry Blueray? Oh. old people have bluray discs? Nope. Did ever hear of Roku or Android T.V. instead install cellular router, a hot spot antenna plus 2 WIFI TVS. And remove that satellite dish as well. Because people in a 35 foot Bounder are headed to an RV Park, Walmart or Cracker Barrel. Not 8 miles off a dirt road in the middle of nowhere.
If this unit is meant for families, why only 2 drawers in the bedroom? Where would one put their clothes and the kids clothes with just 2 drawers? Major dislike! The adaptable table design is wonderful and I can see that applied to more floorplans. More useful than 2 sinks, would be 2 toilets and/or 2 full baths. It's so new, it's not even on Fleetwood's website.
TheRVkeys, Thanks for the comment. It is always a give and take on designing a rectangle LOL. In this particular floorplan we went with the ability to incorporate a side by side washer and dryer. Yes, this feature does take up some space but very important to many. As far as storage in the bedroom. We have the overhead storage above the bed, Two hanging wardrobes (both of these have an additional shelf put in for more storage), the two drawers that you have mentioned, storage behind the TV, and the large magnetic drawer located between the wardrobes. As always we appreciate you watching and commenting. - Mike -

Thank you for watching and commenting. We are excited to show this new floorplan off in Tampa !!
- Mike -
Love the floorplan and that desk dinning table is very nice I hate dinning tables in any RV take it from a full time RV person most full timers hate the tables and don't use them you found a way to make them look good and be usable nice job
Santa,
Thanks for watching. I agree with you. I dont think I would want a full size dinette either. Our Design team did an amazing job with this Adap"table".
- Mike -
Nice layout esp. the living area. You said it was on the 26K chassis - what is the cargo carrying capacity?
I agree with these comments. Probably the best floor plan I’ve seen in a gas motor home. Best part: no “dream dinette” aka nightmare space hog!
I love that you showed the rv with the slide in. That’s so hard to find. Do the front seats turn in for additional seating in the living space?
Miss Beth,
Thank you for watching. Yes, the fronts seats do turn around for additional seating.
Thanks - Mike -
Outstanding! Can't wait to see the capacities and CCC of the 35GL. Our only major dislike is placement of the TV in the living area - it's high and offset. It would have been perfect if on a televator behind the dinette area/below the window, or centered on the cabinets above so it was directly opposite of the theater seats.
Dennis,
Thank you for your feedback and thank you for watching ! I will post the exact OCCC of this unit soon as I meet up with it again.
- Mike -
We call that a neck wrecker when the TV is off to the side.
Thanks - Mike -
Mike...this is a game changer. Absolutely beautiful! Is the free standing dinette with credenza an option? Where is the fuse box located? Thank you.
Sandy,
The Adap"Table" dinette comes standard in the 35GL.
The Casual RVer,
Thanks for watching! We will keep an eye out for the Vacationer 35GL.
- Mike -
Oh my goodness this unit is SWEET! If we ever wanted to part ways with our Bounder 35K.......
Stephen,
Thank you for watching. Yes, the 35K is hard to part with. That is the number one selling floorplan for a reason. I hope you enjoy your Bounder and if you have any questions let us know.
- Mike -
Mike, another great review! I don't think you had time to breathe! Is that a TPO roof? When the bed is down in sleeping
Ron,
Thank you for watching. Yes the Bounder has a TPO roof.
- Mike -
What is the size of the bunk mattress? Also with the table, does the rotation "lock" or is it going to rotate from people just leaning forward or if they brush it walking by?
The overhead bunk is approx. 4 feet by 6 feet. The table doesn't "lock" when spun, but it does have a catch that keeps it in place until you want to spin it. A light bump will not spin it, a hard bump might.
Beautiful Coach!! I am especially interested in the Adap-table dinette, is it possible to purchase just the hardware for that?
John,
Thanks for Watching !! Unfortunately we do not sell just the hardware.
- Mike -
Thank you. Very nice! I'd have to have a bath and a half...not a fan of the 2nd sink in the hall and no oven. CCC? Love the kitchen layout and the interior colors.
I like the floor plan and entry.
Barry,
Awesome, Glad you like the 35GL !!!
Thanks - Mike -
What are the changes for 2023? We are seriously considering this unit. Wondering why there aren't more drawers in the bedroom? Awesome floorplan!
I do like the kitchen layout of the 2022 35GL, and it has separate washer/dryer.
However, I definitely prefer our Bounder 2021 36F:
PRIVACY / ACCESSIBILITY PROBLEM:
- 35GL: if someone uses the shower, the entire back of the motorhome (the only commode, the master bedroom, and laundry) becomes inaccessible to pass through unless the person taking a shower doesn't mind a person entering the back section seeing them in the shower.
SLEEPING WITHOUT EXTENDING SLIDES:
- 35GL master bed - if you have to do an overnight at a rest area or truck stop and can't open your slide-outs, sleeping area is limited to half the bed - sleep sideways at the foot of the bed (sheets and bed cover not in right direction for that) since the folding bed cannot be extended without opening the slide.
- 36F master bed is always flat
SLEEPING CAPACITY:
- 35GL 3-4? adults (depending on the slide being opened) in this unit (Drop down 2, master 1-2, maybe on recliners??).
- 36F has much more sleeping capacity. 8-10 (Drop down 2, master 2, bunkhouse 2, jackknife couch (1 adult or 2 children), dinette: 1 adult or 2 children).
TV VIEWING:
- 36F main television is at eye level when seated. I don't like the 35GL main television being so high in the air causing you to have to recline in a chair to avoid straining your neck.
NO FIREPLACE!:
- 35GL does not have a fireplace.
- We enjoy and use ours almost every day in our 36F.
INTERIOR STORAGE:
- 36F has ample storage (lots of closet space in master bedroom, under the master bed, in the bunkhouse when not using it for sleeping, under dinette drawers).
- 35GL no under-bed storage, 2 additional folding chairs to allow dining table to seat 4 people have to be stored in existing closet space.
PROBLEMS THAT SHOULDN'T BE:
- 35GL - the washer and dryer positions would be much more convenient if they were switched, so clothes could be transferred from washer to dryer without having both doors blocking your path.
Stephen,
Thank you for watching.
Linda,
Thanks for Watching !
Plymouth Man,
Thanks for watching.
Thanks!
Measurements not the shower? I couldn't see the inside. Was that a radius door?
Would prefer a stacked washer dryer to the side versus having to bend down to access the washer and dryer where they currently are located. It also appears that the bed would be hard to get around when it is not in the articulated mode.
I love her, I do love what you’ve done with the kitchen. That is very innovative thinking, and if you would just lower the table somewhat, it would be perfect.
Norma,
Thanks you for all the feedback, I will take a look at the room available to get around the bed when it is put in the flat sleeping position soon as I meet up with this unit again. We appreciate you watching.
- Mike -
Really nice floorplan, well done. I like the split kitchen and the entry further back on the unit. I'll keep checking the website for this floorplan to be listed. I'd like to see options and detailed specs.
Chad,
Thanks for the comment. We should have the floorplan sheet available on the website soon.
- Mike -
Wow what a nice floorplan will Fleetwood do this Bounder on a 33 GL?
This floor plan is amazing! Is an induction cook top an option?
Kris,
Thank you for watching. We do not offer a standard option to add an induction cooktop. We may be able to do an SOC if that is something your interested in.
Thanks - Mike -
Big Mike 😁😁👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿
Gerald,
LOL, I appreciate you watching and commenting !!!
- Mike -
Amazing floorplan!! Any chance the 35GL floor plan will be offered on the Southwind or any other models?
Sam and Theresa,
Thanks for watching. Yes, the 35GL will be available in the Bounder, Southwind, and Vacationer lineup.
Ordered one at the Tampa show in February still haven’t gotten delivery. Months of delays
When and where can I see a 35GL?
Stephen,
LOL, That is a good question !!! this is a new product so not many out their.
Steven,
hope all is well. The 35GL will be available in a Southwind as well and that will include a side by side washer and dryer. Thanks for watching !!
- Mike -
Look forward to seeing the Southwind version.
What's the CCC? cargo carrying capability
Great look. Not sure i’ll see u guys in tampa. Omicron is creeping up badly
S Tea,
That is very unfortunate to hear. I hope you are family stay healthy !!! Thanks for watching and commenting.
- Mike -
Why is there carpet under the fridge and stove area? That is the one place I am bound to spill something. Saying that, LOVE the floorplan and the cool table. Wish I could have seen inside the shower.
What is the cargo carrying capacity for the Bounder GL?
We really like the 35GL, have a few questions and comments. Where are the house batteries? you mentioned the cranking battery was in the front. Bedroom needs more drawers for us making long trips. Also agree with one of the other comments about moving the living space TV down and putting on a televator behind the dinette. There is plenty of room to make the cabinet 6" deeper to add the televator and push the dinette out into the living space. Just add another cabinet door to use the storage space behind the existing TV location. You never answered a question in one comment about a full electric option to eliminate propane?
I apologize, you did mention that an Aquahot was not available in a Gas motorhome. What about induction cook tops?
Brad, at this time the induction cooktop is not available in Bounder.
I think I missed the numbers. What is the CCC? I heard 1000 lbs but with a full 100 gallons (830 lbs) of water and one driver at 180 lbs, aren't you over loaded before you bring in one pan to the kitchen? I hope I'm wrong, because the wife loves it.
The model at Tampa was a whopping 4,900 lbs thanks to the 26,000 lb chassis.
Off Grid Circuits,
Thanks for watching, the reason the TV is not on a televator behind the Adap"Table" is because we offer a booth dinette as an option.
I'm impressed, has to be the best floorplan I've ever seen on a gas coach. How long until the online brochure is available?
Bernie, we've added some information for the 35GL to the website. We are glad you like it.
www.fleetwoodrv.com/models/bounder-2022/
@@fleetwoodrv Thanks!
Nice! Now if it had opposing front slides like my 2016 34T you would have a winner and I might look closer.
you r good reviewer
My wife and I are looking to buy this unit to live out of permanently as our home is being bought out by a developer, we seen it at the Tampa RV show very nice our favorite.
GENO
Thank you for your interest in the Bounder 35GL as you know. The 35GL received a lot of attention at the show!!
- Mike -
The only thing Fleetwood needs to start doing with their gas class A coaches is adding some accent lighting. Newmar does that with some of their gas coaches. It makes a huge difference too.
We do have the accent lighting under some of our Diesel coaches. Thanks for the suggestion and feedback.
You would think it was a $400,000 coach lol if you're drunk 🤣 lol
Jk
but really, it feels like couple hundred thousand inside and it's 26 yrs old. Solid as a rock. I upgraded the wheel bearings, and the tires, I can carry a little bit more weight than factory specs safely, not legally lol 😜
Thanks for the feedback.
How many belts? And how many place to sleep? We are two but we love to bring our grand kids…
Marie,
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Thanks - Mike -
Would like to see the shower and was that a full sink in the beautiful kitchen?
Elizabeth,
Thanks for watching !! Yes, the kitchen sink in the 35GL features a single large opening. So there will be no problem washing those bigger dishes and appliances.
- Mike -
I didn’t see a fireplace, is there a fireplace?
Bob,
Unfortunately, The 35GL dose not come with a fireplace.
Thanks - Mike -
Seems like a great model for couples.
Brent,
Thank you for Feedback, Watching, and Commenting !!
Gary,
appreciate you watching!
Where are the house batteries? Limoption?
Stan,
The bounder has (4) 6V house batteries located under the interior steps. We do not offer lithium as a factory option. We could possibly to an SOC if that is something your interested in. Thanks for watching.
- Mike -
This is by far my favorite floor plan. I do wish that the captain and passenger chairs would recline with foot rests.
Chris,
Thanks for watching. The Bounder has a very interesting story behind it. Basically the Bounder set the standard for class A motorhomes. I will pass your suggestions to our design team to get their thoughts. Thank you for your feedback.
- Mike -
Needed to see the shower to see if there is a seat and know if the seats in the cab swivel. Other than that, I love it.
I don't have a kitchen table in my living room at home, what makes you think I want one in my motorhome?
If it wasn't for that I would buy one, great coach but that's a deal breaker.
N8 H20,
Thanks for watching, If this is not the exact floorplans that fits your needs make sure to check out the other floorplans in the Fleetwood lineup.
- Mike -
Why the V8 and not the 10?
Why does Fleetwood continue with carpeting? Grand Design has finally gotten rid of it - It is a deal breaker for us. Thank you to Mike - Good presentations.
C Warn,
Thank You for watching and commenting! We have dramatically reduced the amount of carpet being used in our product. Although we do have some that is used to cover the seam created by the flush mounted slide boxes.
- Mike -
I want this perfect
Gloria,
Glad you like the new floorplan. Thank you for the comment !
- Mike -
Nice
Steve,
Thanks for watching.
- Mike -
Great floor plan just lacks a little cloths storage in bedroom
Jeff,
Thanks you for watching and your feedback !!
- Mike -
Needs more outlets and USB at the table though
Santa,
There are several USB/110 outlets spread through out the unit. I will do a better job in the future pointing out these outlets.
Thanks - Mike -
Great layout, shame there is no pantry in the kitchen
Karla,
There is no "Dedicated" pantry. Although, there is a tremendous amount of storage in the kitchen on a 35GL. Thank you for watching and commenting. If you have any questions let us know.
- Mike -
I like the kitchen and living area this is a design that will be copied by competition. The back half is ok .
WheelTek Of Memphis,
Thank you for watching and commenting !! We are very excited to release this unit in Tampa in a few weeks.
- Mike -
Here I thought the Fortis bath and a half was good floorplan; for this price range, this is a groundbreaking floorplan......
Richard,
I am glad you like the 35GL. We are excited to release this new floorplan in Tampa.
Thanks - Mike -
Good layout. But the entrance-exit is not a credit
Thanks for watching !!!
- Mike -
Adaptable table looks cheap and takes away from the look of the coach, love the pocket doors
Love the layout. Never a fan of the split baths.
TonyWirz,
Thank you for watching and commenting.
- Mike -
funny how they still plug in a blueray player.
TheRVkeys,
Thanks for the comment.
- Mike -
@@fleetwoodrv Thanks for the detailed response Mike! Hopefully, this floorplan will meet the needs of owners it was designed for. Yes, you can only do so much in the space allowed. I hope this floorplan is successful.
Our American motorhomes are so ugly.... they're a rectangular prism on wheels compared to European motorhomes
