I resonate with you. Two cat fur-mama here. A short hair tuxedo(Tootsie Roll) and a black Norwegian Forest Cat(Friday). Friday likes the outdoors and you will get zero peace if he wants to go out. His tall, round, heavy, oversized body becomes a home wrecking ball. He wants to be outside and if (due to increment weather) he absolutely has to come inside? He is waiting through every grueling second for the instant he feels the coast is clear.
Friday also eats nonstop. I had to worm him to be sure that he was ok. He is. Big boy. Such a big boy. And he might have another 2 years of growing left.
We once had a man from Chile stay with us for a while. He had fled a dangerous situation. He could not believe our two cats. 'Gatos regulosos' he called them. That's when I learned the Spanish for 'spoiled cats'. However all things are relative. He was coming from a place where they shot street cats when there were too many.
Oh yeah. They all know exactly what to do to get you to do what they want you to do. When one cat wakes you up, but all 3 cats are standing there staring at you, they worked it all out long time ago.
