With a little of the smelt or emerald shiner BRB and those paddle tails are irresistible. Can’t beat the eye candy.

This is great. Is there any rod characteristics you're looking for when trolling a crank on a spinning rod?

If I was looking to buy a spinning rod for fishing cranks, trolling or throwing, I'd look 7' or longer in a medium power moderate or moderate fast action. You want to keep rod tips out and away from boat no matter where you're sitting, and the length comes in handy for trolling or throwing Northland Rumble Shads or Shiners.

I’ve only ever used the rubber bobber stops, the threaded ones are just a pain in my opinion.
