To be saved and be in Heaven for all eternity, you simple must put your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of all your sins. By faith in Christ the bible says you must believe in Jesus' death burial and resurrection and put your trust in that alone for the forgiveness of your sins. Do you have a King James Bible to read? Start reading the book of Romans, and start rightly dividing the word of God.
We do not need to turn from our sins to be saved. We don't even know all our sins to turn from them all. Believe - Trust - Sealed. That's salvation, simply in Christ.
Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
Have you turned from all sin and living a perfect life? No one can do that, that is why Jesus came to do that for you. What sin is there for you to turn from if Jesus paid the price for your sin? That is why we are to trust in what he did for us instead of our performance, we are sinners and Jesus came to save sinners. We cannot save ourselves, if we could, we would not need the sacrifice of Jesus.

I know😢 I listen to the teachings of Derek Prince via RUclips. He went to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus 15 years ago, but his teachings guided by the Holy Spirit are so anointing and powerful💖 each day I'm taking notes and seeking Scripture, preparing for the coming of Christ. I've turned off Facebook and doing everything to block out the negatives of the world. The Lord has blessed me with a card ministry via snail mail so I can still reach out, but in a more personal way. Time is so short and our King is coming 👑 hope to meet all my brothers and sisters in Glory one day soon! 💖
In the past days I have learnt not to look for a church but to know that Jesus is the church.I was told that what is important is to have a relationship with Jesus first ,it doesn't matter which church,so long that church acknowledges that Jesus is Lord and concentrate on your relationship. Jesus will then help you to get where you want to go.John 4 vs 24 says that God is spirit and those who worship him must worship in Spirit and truth.No one is perfect except for God,even the pastors.Only Jesus is ,that's why he was crucified. That's why also Bill said we were born sinners,all of us.Meaning no one is perfect, but we were given a choice to have a relationship with Jesus. That's what is more important before we start considering what church or whose church is better.My opinion, though I agree with you that knowing and going to the right church is icing on the cake.

I love the analogies that Bill uses to tell you how to get to heaven. One I could give relating to the first one is that you invite yourself to a high-end party held by some people you have NO relationship with, saying you’re a good person. You wouldn’t expect them to allow you to join since you don’t know them!

Bill also, remember the lords example prayer. "...Forgive me as I forgive others...". I would like to point out that this is part of God's plan of salvation. I have never heard a preacher, preach this and yet there it is in scripture.

Tell me, he said in this video we need to turn from our sins to be saved. Is that true? I thought is was a gift to believe and put my trust in. What happens if I don't turn from all my sins? What if I do things that are sins I'm not aware of? How can someone be sure that they are saved?
@@dkgrace6743 hey very good question, bible does say by grace are we saved through faith, that is true, but when you've accepted Jesus as Lord over your life you must fosake your sins, because if not you would be living a contrary life to what God calls us to. Bible says the just shall live by faith which means faith in Christ makes us justified, when God sees you he doesn't see your sins he sees what Jesus did on the cross for you because you believe. But now you must be always striving to be perfect, God knows you can't be perfect, and thats why when we fall into sin you repent and strive for pefection, thats where Jesus steps in with grace to forgive, but you should have an attitude to hate sin and want to please God.
If your still struggling with sin God is gracious just keep praying and asking for help. your part is to do all that you can to stop sinning and soon enough God will deliver you.
We all comit unknown sins and thats why repentance is continual practice asking God for forgiveness of them, but dont feel condemned because your under grace and God has already forgiven you.
You'll know your a true born again christian when you start seeing no value in the pleasures of this world and you like doing Godly things like a desire to know Jesus more and wanting to please Him and a desire to read the bible, you'll have love in your heart for people that you never did before.
You asking this question is proof you're on the right track. now all I would say is stay reading the bible and in prayer, Keep diligently seeking to be closer to Jesus, and things will start making sense.

I would only add it is important to seek understanding of Jesus' words through the Holy Spirit; and that is how we are spiritually changed. By seeking to hear, know and understand Christ Jesus and the Holy Spirit will teach you all understanding through spiritual revelation.

Do you mean the likes of Abraham, Isaac, Jacob and Moses as well as the countless others who are now with our Lord and Saviour Jesus in heaven? Well, tgey placed their trust in God on the basis of what was revealed to them in their time. The Bible teaches that they heard of a Saviour to come and that their trust (faith in the Saviour to come) was considered righteousness in the mind of God.
