  • One area completely avoided and looked past by most entry level enthusiasts is transmission pressure. It can make tuning so difficult and can effect the durability of your engine. In this video Doug discusses where to pull readings, what parts to use, and how it can effect your combination.

Will all this help Cooper? He’s such a good guy, and is trying his best. I hope that he recovers from this blow out, soon!

Good information! It would be helpful to increase the lighting around the components being filmed under the car. My old eyes don't see as well as they did in my younger years.

Theres not much definition available when so many things are painted or anodized black. Like you... I find I need a little more light on most jobs too. Heres a trick I do tweaking digital photos: I turn contrast down and brightness up. It loses some of the slick ultra-black look and brings a grain out semi-similar to old school tv pictures... but it works. Lost edges reappear, and shades of deeper gray add apparent depth gone missing where black objects just blended together. Some cameras have an auto iris feature that defeats the subject matter on all but tight close ups on account of background light - if a manual option exists, that is worth playing with - especially on anything effectively backlit.
Anyway, love this RIFE setup: I want pressure indications [for a th400], and am not about to bring tubing into the cab on a traditionaal gauge - hot pressurized liquids need to stay outside.

Man you guys are opening my eyes on information but I don’t have a lot of money to spend on parts if I’m not a track guy just a guy who likes to do some burnouts now and then is this really necessary ?

Not necessarily. If you aren’t running high boost levels you’ll be fine.

Tons of people with high dollar 76/75 class cars and people with “sloppy mechanics” type builds with T4 78/75 turbos would prob be very interested in your $400 76/75-T4 turbo cam for LS engines. But besides the fact you guys sell it, there is not really much info out there on it. You post the specs, but maybe a video about why it’s “the best T4 turbo cam” or the “best higher back pressure” turbo cam.
