I've ALWAYS liked those style of Versatiles. Could listen to that tractor all day. Really cool video Jason!!☺😊
😁👍👍
Sweet! My grandpa has a 1979 Versatile 500 and my uncle has a 855. Not sure of the year on that one but they are good looking, hard working, and easy to maintain. Happy to see the old girls whenever I can.
The square body series II and III Versatile tractors have a solid look. The 500 is on the rare side. Very nice.
Tillage action is always great👍😁 love to see the old versatiles still going strong😉👍
Thank you for watching.
I just love the original Versatile tractors. Classic workhorses. Great vid BTP. Take care & stay safe. Cheers
Thank you for watching. The a designation 6 was a modern machine for the 80’s.
Great video. Nice beast doing great work. Thanks buddy for the video.
Thank you for watching.
Waiting to get my 936 cleaned up and the cab all redone so it can be in the field!!! But I have a 3 wheel Sprayer I'm rebuilding first.. it's in the shop now. 936 is next!!!
If I was told the truth, mine has been bumped to 330 hp😎👌
BTW, mine is an '85...
Very nice. Sounds like a good project. Cool to have a first year. The 956 was rated at 335. I am would think the 936 could handle 330 hp. What implements will you run on your 936.
@@bigtractorpower have a 15' 5800 Krause offset disc, plan to put a roller and maybe mounted harrow on it. We farm in the hills of NW Oregon, got some pretty steep ground.
Currently pulling the disc by itself with a 3394 Case-IH.. not always very deep...
That’s what I drive. 😀. Wow I can’t believe it. Good job Jason.
Glad to see a Older Versatile running.
😁👍👍
Thanks for the good video sod buster .
That is a super tractor from day one, looks and sounds so good, just love it, thanks for sharing Jason
😁👍👍
At work but I'll watch it as soon as I get home.
I never knew of this tractor manufacturer until I saw them on your channel. Quite impressive and I like the unusual color scheme on them. Also, I am glad that they've managed to be independent again and that they are still going strong! Cheers bud!
Grew up driving a 876. I love these tractors. Great Video as always.
Very cool. Thank you for sharing.
Love the old Versatiles.
I have a 936 it’s a 1988 with the Ford logo still running strong in central Ohio
Very nice.
Beautiful tractor
This generation of Versatiles sure stand out.
Cool tractor
Nice👍
Thank you for watching.
Been across that bridge many times
that thing loves to bounce
Good seed bed prep with this setup.
😁👍👍
We used to have a "ford" versatile 946 and it was awesome
Very nice. I hope to film a Ford Designation 6.
6th and i really like how good of quality your videos are, keep up the good work!
Very very nice jason versatile the best tractor on earth and in the woreld
Thank you for watching.
That looks like a big field!
It is. The River flats are a wide open area.
I have 2 895s, used this spring for planting alfalfa in Idaho.
Very nice. Big Iron.
Thats awsome. Do you have an instagram or something with some pictures of them?
👍
Thank you for watching.
That's more like it
I know where a versatile 555 is that has been sitting under a shelter for about 10 yrs
I’m pretty sure BTP loves the v8 4WD’s
My grandpa has a 500
👍👍
😁👍
👍👍👍👍👍
That is a certified Canadian Beast! Eh!
So I was watching and looking at the soil after it had worked up the ground and couldn’t tell a difference. Then I realized I was looking at where he had already gone
Jason would have enough clips of Versatiles to put together a complete history of the Marque? I have a 1/32 570 on order from the States at the moment for $44 in the UK they are over £100!
I unfortunately do not have enough Vetsatile tractor footage to show 50 years of Versatile. I am working on it. Hopefully I can make a Versatile History video in the future.
tractor power 😳😳😳😳
Thank you for watching.
I have a '84 candy striper 835
😁👍👍👍👍👍👍
I love the blue Versatiles, shame they never did any of the big hp ones after ford took over.
I hope to find a Ford 1156 to film for BTP.
@@bigtractorpower I didn’t know they did an 1156 with Ford
Can there be more caterpillar/challenger tractor
Yes there will be.
How fast is he going?
I would guess 5 mph.
I wonder how many hours are on the old girl
I do not know. It is good shape.
When did you take this footage?
Along the Ohio River by the 41 twin bridges at the Henderson, KY and Evansville, IN boarder.
@@bigtractorpower When, though?
:)
Thank you for watching.
I’ve never heard of Burch disks
Burch is in Evansville, IN where this was filmed. They have a website. They mainly produce compact tractor tillage implements. Their website is at www.burchimplements.com/collections/disk-harrows
Great stuff ......does this company still exist??
Yes it does. It became New Holland in 1991 when Ford sold its agriculture division in to Fiat. In 1999 Fiat acquired Case IH and merged it with New Holland. Case New Holland spun off Versatile in 2000 and Versatile became an independent tractor builder again in 2001.
was bought by the russian company rostelmash not too long ago tho.
Looks like Evansville ind
Technically Henderson, KY right by the bridges and hope by the Horse Track. Almost Evansville.
@@bigtractorpower yep know right where it is, i farm 20 mi west of there this looks like walthons or how ever you Spell their last names
Chris Grabert Wathen has an 876 and he’s on the other side of the river
👍👍
