I’ve followed gene all my life..I’m early 70 s now and still get chills from his voice…. So sad 😢 I was devastated when he passed away,so young with so much more life to live,hearts to break…songs to write….so underestimated and goodness knows why!? His legacy will live on through his songs and memories will be forever remembered! X

One of the finest male vocalists to EVER grace a stage. This man was the total package...a true showman, he was deeply appreciative of his talent and always gave his all to the audience!!!!

@@Marcel_Audubon Very true, his concerts were always sellouts. I remember trying to get a couple of seats for one of Gene's shows in the 90's and we had to contend with being behind a pillar. :/

Thank you Roger for all your postings. Can't get enough of Gene Pitney. Saw him once in New Zealand and am now making up for lost time constantly watching everything Gene Pitney that I can find.
Was able to see Gene in Minneapolis years back at First Avenue. Full orchestra. He is in my all time top five. I have most his songs. Thanks for this post.
@susanburch49 So true, I am in the same boat Sue and it is so pleasant to be able to put on my earphones and watch his concert from Foxwoods late/early in the night when everyone else is asleep. Even as he got older he was just as powerful a performer (which is why the Italians love him so).
