I thought the shots looked good; I know before digital became so popular, it was very common to leave one of those camera's on each table at a post wedding reception for anyone to pick up and take a few impromptu shots; might be a good idea to do again; gives an event the mix of professional + total amateur;
You proved with this vlog that it is not about the camera; it always is the photographer that counts! well done. nevertheless: Long live modern technology!
lol my mom used these cameras exclusively when I was growing up. I really haven't thought about these cameras in a long time but seeing one used on this video brought a smile to my face.
These camera are much better than people think. Before digital cameras people were quite happy with the results produced and as your video shows the pictures are pretty good, much better than a Lomo :-)
Pretty good! I loved the results( great scanning job), that's why they say that the best camera is the one you have on you. I've been using a compact analog camera (mju ii) lately and it is a really good way of bringing more spontaneity. Sometimes it's good to step back and worry less about the gear and just be ready for the decisive moment. Cheers!
Just recently picked up a disposable, this one to be exact. I’m excited to see how they turn out. I love the look of the photos disposables turn out. It’s so nostalgic and beautiful for me and I’m sure many other people. I hope one day these cameras make a come back.
Way to go! The red eye in a couple of flash shots made me laugh, always had one of these on school camps such awesome little cameras, never considered it as a disposable full frame lol
Dude. What you said at 2:37 just boosted up my confidence 100% I wanted to buy one but was worried about the looks I'll get. Granted this was 7 yrs ago lol
Sam Pause oftentimes, places where you develop your photos also offer to scan them and make a digitial image. You can also buy a scanner and software yourself and do it from home
It was great to meet you that night. So cool we got to run into you. Awesome to see the results of the experiment turn out great! Keep the videos coming.
I’m trying one of these now, so it’s interesting to see what such a simple camera can produce. I’d agree with you, that no-one takes any notice/offense when you use one of these. Thanks for posting.
Best photo I ever took was on one of those type of cameras. Second best was on an iPhone 5S. I've had a Fuji X-T100 for a long while now, and still not found that great shot.
do you use the flash for the day pictures?? someone told me sometimes there are dark pictures and its better using the flash for everything... could you tell me please ?
Heyy! Do you know if you can put a new film in once used the original that comes with it? I bought a bunch of film by accident so wondered if I can put it in this camera so it doesn’t go to waste?
Can anyone please tell me, is this a camera that you can only use once time? (Take the 24 shots and that’s all) or you can put another film in it? Sorry my ignorance.
There's this cool trick you can do if you wanna shoot the film again but didn't like the camera. At least I didn't. I really liked the film's colour but the camera's lens obviously made the pictures soft and what not, so there's always this thing you can do if you want to shoot the film again but with your Nikon SLR. Basically you stick a piece of tape or whatever on the kodak camera's lens ensuring it's completely covered then you shoot the entire roll and take it out and voila, you have a fresh film roll ready to be shot on your SLR!
Love the vintage look the camera gives off. Plus is shows that if you have the skills you can get any camera to work for you, however budget it is!
@Kristof Alexy you know what he fucking meant..smh
The quality is low? It looks nice.
It’s pretty solid
this guys smile is ridiculously infectious

I work at a photo lab. A lot of people do that!

I liked the natural light non-flash images.
These camera are much better than people think. Before digital cameras people were quite happy with the results produced and as your video shows the pictures are pretty good, much better than a Lomo :-)
The shot you got of the person on the skateboard at 3:19 is an absolute JEM! What an awesome shot!
I love the warm tone and vintage look the pictures give off. These disposable cameras are great quality and extremely cheap.

Way to go! The red eye in a couple of flash shots made me laugh, always had one of these on school camps such awesome little cameras, never considered it as a disposable full frame lol
This is how you can take a vintage photo without using vintage filters! Excellent result!!
photo of the goose was top notch! looked at just the right time!
Dude. What you said at 2:37 just boosted up my confidence 100% I wanted to buy one but was worried about the looks I'll get. Granted this was 7 yrs ago lol
Really liked how these photos came out, I might have to try this Kodak for myself
How did you get those photos onto your computer tho? Like how do you make them digital for sharing?
You can choose to get them on film or digitally when you get the film processed :)
Sam Pause oftentimes, places where you develop your photos also offer to scan them and make a digitial image. You can also buy a scanner and software yourself and do it from home
Do you edit your pictures?
It was great to meet you that night. So cool we got to run into you. Awesome to see the results of the experiment turn out great! Keep the videos coming.

Is it the camera that gives this vintage look right? btw I’m loving the vintage look ...
I’m trying one of these now, so it’s interesting to see what such a simple camera can produce. I’d agree with you, that no-one takes any notice/offense when you use one of these. Thanks for posting.
Makes me want to dig up my Olympus XA and shoot a few rolls
I do not believe those are shot on disposable Kodaks. Bloody brilliant looking!
The daytime ones look pretty good.
are these color corrected?
Are the photos edited once digitalized? Or do they come just as shown in the video?
Wow, i love the colors and how it gives that interesting look
did you always used the flash here?
How can you transfer photos from that camera to pc? btw nice video :)
When you bring the film to a studio to develop, you can choose to scan the film and have it digital while developing it or just to print it out :)
will you be upgrading to the new hero 5 session? seems like you loved the 4
Gadh! The photos are so cool!
Pablo, how do you get the pictures from a film camera to an editor I've been discussing it with people of how you do it but still don't know : )
very interesting camera and the picture did not turn out bad at the end, I like it
Should I always shoot with the flash or just by low sunlight?
Did you use the flash for the photos you took during the day?
My first steps into photography using those! Didn’t think they still sold them?!.. many a festival and night at the pub recorded 😄📸
Very impressive. Proves you do not need a fancy dslr to get great shots. Makes me want to try the same experiment.
are the photos edited? love them!
nice work, decent camera, the film is possibly 800 speed ultramax(as seen on amazon)
Hi, I loved your video, very nice photos! What scanner do you use for the pictures?
were you using the flash on some of the daylight pictures???
Carolanne Titmus he was. it’s probably a better idea to keep flash on with these cameras since they don’t work too well with low light :P
@@Ricecattt Thank you.
Are the pictures edited?
really beautiful shots. quite surprising. was there any post processing involved?
Florian Neumann thanks! a tiny bit of straightening but what you see is basically straight out of the camera :)
Are you able to get the pictures developed digitally?
Did you edited the pictures?? They looks amazing!
is this good for vlogging?
Best photo I ever took was on one of those type of cameras. Second best was on an iPhone 5S. I've had a Fuji X-T100 for a long while now, and still not found that great shot.
do you use the flash for the day pictures?? someone told me sometimes there are dark pictures and its better using the flash for everything... could you tell me please ?

Heyy! Do you know if you can put a new film in once used the original that comes with it? I bought a bunch of film by accident so wondered if I can put it in this camera so it doesn’t go to waste?

would be cool to do a follow up video using the Ilford xp2 or Hp5 disposable camera
Did you use it again after 27 shots?
How did you transfer it digitally?
Can anyone please tell me, is this a camera that you can only use once time? (Take the 24 shots and that’s all) or you can put another film in it? Sorry my ignorance.
By the way, do you shot every photos with flash at daytime?

You just press button with the lighting icon while taking the picture
Did you end up turning the flash on for day time shoots? Should I? How did they turn out?
Awesome.. I really want to do that :)
Fire 🔥
Do you know what film is inside these Kodak FunSaver's? (name and rating)
