Does anyone else find it pretty cool that they released this trailer during a Full Moon and that the show premieres on a Crescent Moon

I think ive watched the trailer 10+ times. I love the show. Ivr always loved egyptian mythology so seeing moon knight brought into the mcu was so exciting for me before they even released the trailer.
I love how self contained this show chose to be. Reminds me of the first phase of the MCU. There's little to no Easter eggs references to the bigger universe and you know what I like that. It allowed this show to feel like it's own thing instead of relying other movies or shows for context.
Just enough in the background to knit it all together without letting it get too isolated - like the GRC banner on a bus behind Steven in one scene
That's how comic books work. Then you occasionally have the crossover event. Such as the Infinity Saga
too bad litterally every othershow fotgot to connect things together

Almost like telling a story is better than setting up a crossover (sorry, I’m angry at marvel) in all seriousness, moon knight was absolutely incredible, and hopefully this is the start of an anti-hero saga (still waiting on a good ghost rider movie)

I totally agree. It was very original, never seen before storytelling. I really enjoyed how the relationship between Marc and Steven developed. It was quite touching. I really hope that we learn more about Jake Lockley in the future.

There is such a potential in this character. It has all the great elements: mysticism, vigilantism, psychology, noir film aesthetics. In the hands of good writers, this character might turn out GOLD on the big screen. Also, I really dig the "mummy" inspiration in his MCU costume.

Only got two episodes into Loki so can't comment on it. Parts I did see were pretty good though.
I loved the first 5 episodes of moonknight but the finale was a bit of a letdown tbh.
The character goes from being unknown by the general audience to having the most viewed trailer out of all the Disney+ shows thus far. What a time to be alive.
I think it's mostly because, unlike the other 3 shows, this one introduces a fresh new character to the MCU roster, thus people will be curious to see it.

I absolutely love moon knight, been one of my favorite characters for around six years now. Would have preferred a movie though instead of something like a show only for the purpose of racking up as much money as they can get.
Here's one interesting detail about the series:
-the trailer was released on January 17th on a full moon
-the series will be released on march 30th which will have a crescent moon
This is actually significant symbolism for real life, the people in charge are ware of these and essentially use it against the public. These "superheroes" are actually all coded version of older myths and other occulted information. Keep your eyes open friend

Seeing as Dr Strange 2 will be the first MCU Horror, this looks incredible with the shows they have planned. Tense, Dark and Action. Really looking forward to MCU 2022. This will be a big show.

This will be the first Marvel Disney+ series to star a character that hasn’t previously been in an MCU movie. I’m really excited to see how they handle an origin story with a series instead of a movie.
I'm also interested in seeing how they handle that. It seems that they've wanted to explore that for awhile, since certain movies (see Eternals) should have had a D+ series before the full movie. Could be interesting.

This show has a good chance of having the same tone as Dr Strange at most. The trailer isn't enough to go by; and even if it was perfect, trailers are known to be deceiving.

I totally agree - I mean they take the most obscure characters (in a good way obviously) and somehow manage to make a storyline that really booked. Hawkeye turned out very well so I'm hoping for Moon Knight to slap

I watched this whole series and it’s absolute gold. When I started watching it it messed a whole lot with my brain, but once I kept watching it I started to understand better what’s happening. I love how MCU just keeps on going with their movies, more than 15 years. Their movies and series never fail me.

If I remember correctly, back in the day I read a comic book where Moon Knight said "he wears white because he wants his enemies to see him coming". Instead of the more natural vigilante stealth mode. So badass.
yeah I always thought that was cool, especially when you consider the fact the batman says the opposite where he wheres black so his enemies don't see him, it just makes moon knight look cooler

The costume isn't bad, but it lacking the unnatural "space" pitch black shadow/white light super high contrast, specially with on the face, is marginally disappointing given these Disney+ effects overall. It is pretty iconic of him since his first appearance
