With a flashpro you're able to set the rpm limit higher, some say 8400rpm because thats where the power starts to fall over with stock cams, with a fd2r oilpump and balance shaft delete kit you can set these the limit at 9000rpm
@@HD-nt8ng it is actually hard without damaging the car, any idiot can slam the car in gear and just drop the clutch usually if the gear changes are this quick there's modifications with the clutch or gear system. Fyi I also have an fn2 and they rev very high, when you're shifting from the red line the gears can be quite notchy and this is well known.
@@cameronbrown3380 agree, I always used to crunch into 2nd gear when changing really quickly, other gears are fine. Adjusted the clutch pedal and it's much better.
@@Springwater786 absolutely mate I'm not sure what I need with mine, it's only got 53k miles on a 61 plate but I have the same issue, so hard to get quick and accurate changes, the biting point is so near the floor it's nuts. The garage offered to pay towards a Honda clutch fitted which I'm getting done at TGM on thursday. I'm hoping it'll sort the issue out otherwise I'll have a look at having it adjusted.
@@cameronbrown3380 mines an 07 with 55k, it's really easy to adjust the pedal, takes about 10 minutes. Well worth it, when I first got it the biting point was on the floor and so hard to drive smoothly, now it's lovely to drive
Thank you for eargasm
Sounds sensational honda really do make exceptional engines reliable with performance which is very rare
Perfect shifting
Beautiful sounds from a beautiful car👍🏼
Beautiful shifting 😘
Goes well
Proper sounds like a ferrari!
Finally good shifting, great car. Is it forcing you to the back of the seat despite the low torque?
Yeah but start wasnt that good ;p It needs higher rpm
Upgraded cams?
6.5sec 0-100, 25sec 0-200
ep3 6sec 0-100, 19sec 0-200
@@spajd2 good

Yes in stock@@ollijokinen1571
201 HP?
No. With Hondata chiptuning, develop's at least 220 hp.
seems to rev really high? i thought it cuts just over 8000rpm?
8400 I guess
As far as I know, stock rev limiter is set to 8300 rpm, seems the owner of this car set it to 8500 rpm using Hondata FlashPro.
8600rpm is safe after start cavitation OEM oil pump. With RRC oil pump 9000rpm possible. But you need some other deeps mods 🥸
