Facts
Honda eagerness and passion is on full tilt! Needs some fine tuning looks like, but really solid overall. Interesting sounds too. I bet you have driven more kinds of cars than 99% of people on earth. Your ability to hop in something and go pretty dam fast right away is a serious testament to your skill!
I hope this EP3 drive brings you a step closer to building your own Misha, would love to see what sort of mods of someone with your experience on the ring would do to a FWD car!
As an EP3 owner an AWD swap from a Wagovan or CRV is the best mod and easy to do on the EP3.

Based on the way that car sounds that check engine light is a p0420...I have zero doubts haha. In all seriousness what a wonderful piece of kit. The fact that you took the jump at Pflanzgarten says how well the car is setup.

By far my favorite type R. I was obsessed with this car back in the day, but I couldn't afford it. I'm really hoping to get one now as a toy and set it up for track days.
The top end pull from 110mph-130mph is really quite impressive.

I've had an EP3 for 6 years. Bred for the track. The fact one of your fastest lap times is in this 20 year old Honda proves how good they are 🔥
I currently drive an M240i, I love it! Its an absolute beast of a car and such a good rewarding drive around the Nordschliefe! I also own a mk3 CRX jdm sir! I miss the VTEC 170bhp scream fron the b16a engine, the ability to hammer in to any bend create lift off oversteer or simply be 100% planted round the bend with the knowledge that you are going where you intend too is such an amazing experience on top of the VTEC sound deliciousness!
I have nothing but smiles and envy!
Badass. Performance Hondas are just so engaging and raw. I love them. Not willing to give up my S2000-Type R combo for anything.

I think it's fair to say that the K20 (the real K20, not the K20C1) has firmly secured it's place in the pantheon of the greatest car engines of all time! Blessed are the platforms that carry it!

The weight transfer @3:03 and the pass smiling @3:35 was great, it looked like he looked up and said "Oh $#!i, we made it" and then smiled haha. Also, the intentional mid corner understeer test at the corners was amazing, then @6:31 with the outside so smooth! Then @8:16 onwards... that is such a ride to imagine! You can wheel the hell out of any car!
Makes me miss my old EP3. That had the Gruppe M (or Tegiwa) intake too. Definitely seems to be less of them on the road in the UK these days. Rust was eating mine up when I sold it 4 years ago.

As an owner on his second EP3 having owned one 18 years ago this was beautiful to watch. One of the best fast cars for UK roads having beautiful handling, narrow enough to thread through fast narrow country roads whilst avoiding potholes and plenty fast enough in the real world. Would be keen to know more about the steering upgrades as I would love more feel in my car, that's my only criticism.
More ep3 please. Drive the JDM version ep3 next 😊

Ep3 is a great package for fun with a reasonable price and even a decent price in the aftermarket world, ( besides for example Portugal where Ep3 type R's are getting very pricey)... ..

Needs a proper map and adjustment from M.K Performance. Tps or something seems to play up on it n some times from 5k to 6500rpm it falls flat then picks back up. The engine light suggests its either got a decat or something and the map isnt for it.

This car is from an era when Honda built amazing engines. The new stuff if plagued with overheating.
You gotta remember, Honda has always been NA, give them some time with Turbo engines and they'll get it right.

The Si has the K20A3, The EUDM the K20A2 ( even better is the JDM with the K20A ) also the suspension on the USDM EP3 is different . Not to bash you, but the USDM EP3 can't be compared to the EUDM or JDM, you got screwed with that 1 ;)
@@DidiPipo well I didn’t have a choice I was gifted this, I know I had the k20a3 in comparison to the usdm rsx type s that has the A2.
Ye, realy to bad man, with the k20A2 it's just so much more fun, but on the other hand, we were a little jelous that we didn't get the K20a hahahaha But still think it was a mistakke to put in the k20a3 in such a big market @@TorraTech
