We would go to this each year and they had bands , dancers and people from all over praising God . We would follow the bands to the different streets in the city ! Its was a great time for a 8 or 9 year old kid !

They'd be both delighted and well qualified to answer any questions.......Originally The House of Prayer was called the House of Israel. Jesus came to the Jews (God's chosen people), but he died for us all! Later in the new testament, when the gospel was opened up for everyone, it was made clear in all four gospels of the apostles that God's house shalled be called of all nations

Wouldn't Solomon's Temple have been named or referred to as the United House of Prayer for All People if what you are saying is correct?

This is speaking about the Spirit, which is God, the Comforter - it said forever.

I think that its better to say that the preist at that time was talking more about the life that Peter and James lived, that if it where not God, they would fail at some point in what they preached. If this is so why then did Christ pick 12 deciples, and on the day of penticost fill all that was in the upper room with his spirit according to Acts 1, then in the nineth chapter gave his spirit to Paul if He only used one man. Even while Jesus was preaching John the baptist who was filled with the Holy spirit while in his mothers whomb was still out preaching about the coming of Christ.
