I truly "Thank God' for the experience of being part of this group of young men, who have gone on to doing great thing's in life... We all have a story to tell, as we don't know each other's life story, but I can say that The Invaders of the UHOP, have inspired people in many walks of life...! Some say that we worship a man, some say that we give all of our money to a man, some may even say that we are fools for following a man - But all believers follow a leader (who happens to be a man) whether your Catholic, Episcopalian, Methodist, Hindu, Jewish, etc... The true test of your worship to God is in how your praise...! We members of the UHOP are particular in how we praise God, and admire our leader(s), who mandate that we praise God and thank him for our savior Jesus Christ... For those who are not aware or unfamiliar with this way of praising God, compare our praise to what your doing now in your sanctuary..? You may find that you may be cutting God short, of what he has done, for you...! I am not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, for what he has done for us all, has strengthened my faith, that God can do anything, but fail...! Be blessed, and enjoy the spiritual sounds of 'The McCullough Invaders'...!
Lord I remember these days at the Old Mother House!!! The bands are similar but the Invaders, WHOA!!!!! The McCollough Days were wild, spirit so uplifting and vibrant. Once in a blue a chair may get knocked over, white sheets on the floor cover the lady shouting with no shoes on. Nothing but great times that I can't ever forget!!! I loved it and always will!!!

I attended UHOP as a child in the late 80s early 90s under Daddy McCollough son Paster McCollough after his father died in DC. And NOTHING today compares to those bands.
AS a member of the Invaders in the late 80's and early 90's, our glory years, its good to finally see some of our video on line when daddy McCollough was here. I use to run into Charles a lot when I use to live in New York city. Good ol days.

Thankyou for your honesty it takes character and humility to admit an error I know,...when a pastor corrected me concerning the Veil Covering I researched and found he was correct..I latter after much prayer changed my point of doctrine and taught the Veil which cost me over half my female congregation so I know about humility to admit an error...we disagree on several points of doctrine but Ive learned to respect you highly for your integrity.......
You have to spend time in the HOP to understand its Practices. I was born and raised in it!! I pray to one day return to it. It shaped me into the woman I am today in so many ways. You will never find a religious group that prays and honors God like these good people!! I miss those days!!

Well I know God is in me because I have been baptized in Jesus name and filled with the holyghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I do not need a man to tell me about my relationship with God when I can come bodly to the throne of grace myself, and ask him whatever I want. Whats crazy is I went to NCA&TSU and there was a huge House of Prayer Cathedral church 5 mins from the school. From the outside it looked like a Baptist Church. i understand that you love your church and im not knocking you for that b/c i love my church and my man of God. but i just want to understand why uhop praises a man as they should praise God. your bishop (daddy) can walk in and people act like Jesus Himself walked in. can you help me understand? i love my pastor and i respect him as a mouthpiece to deliver God's word, but at the end of the day he's a man (a normal person like me and you). so im not bashing uhop b/c they a very organized church

Well I know God is in me because I have been baptized in Jesus name and filled with the holyghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues. I do not need a man to tell me about my relationship with God when I can come bodly to the throne of grace myself, and ask him whatever I want. A pastor is there for understanding but you have to develop your own personal relationship. There is only one lord, one faith, and one baptism.

I’m not apart of the UHOP but their “daddy” is no different than what some would call a “bishop” or “overseer” or “apostle” their was of worship is equivalent to dancing like David and the bucking and shouting people do in churches now. All of these denominations are a choice of religion and they all came from one church where one didn’t agree and other followed. As long as the praises get to the one and only GOD then why is it such an issue. If you don’t agree that’s fine but to all the Christian Pentecostals and apostolic or whatever else some of the commentators might be; you don’t sound like you’re exhibiting the love of Christ with the judgmental comments and cult calling. If you’re so worried about what their doing and their soul salvation I sure hope you said a prayer for them immediately after.
