Q5: It was easier for me to cross multiply everything and get to the answer in about 20-25 seconds in case someone is better at cross-multiplying than formulas
Hi, could you please explain the conversion from yard to feet in question 7 ? In the question it says that 1 foot = 3 yards, but when working on it on the board, you report that 1 yard = 3 feet. Logically, at the end I selected the right answer, but in the conversion at the beginning I obtained h yards = h/3 feet and not 3*h feet. Please correct my reasoning, thank you very much in advance.
Your reasoning is totally correct! The correct conversion should be 1 yard = 3 feet. The suggestion in the question that 1 foot = 3 years is a typo. Sorry about the confusion!
Alex didn't say that 50% more than 1/2 = 3/2, he said that to increase something by 50% we should multiply it by 3/2. This is the same as multiplying something by 150% or 150/100. In this case, we increase 1/2 by 50%, so we do 1/2 * 3/2 which gives us 3/4. I hope that helps!
I have been following your videos and I can assure that they are all okay and great 😂
Thank you, and have fun studying!

good work I really enjoyed your teachings.
Q1: I don't understand how did you get 3/2?
Q2: Why don't we just convert to seconds immediately? That was much easier for me

@@GRENinjaTutoring shame!
For the first problem, how did you get 50% more of 1/2 = 3/2?

Work rate time
1 feet=12 inches
For volumes
1 feett**3=12**3 inches**3
C/2 choclate/hour
C/6
Rate of two machines working seperetly = the sum of the two
Machine needs 6 hours to do a task means rate is a/6 task per hour
