All NICE for the right person who can get full use and afford something like that. I was at Uwharrie National forest last Sat.[1 hour drive] and when i was loading up the Instinct BC to the back of my 1996 Jeep GC i was parked next to someone who was grilling some hotdogs on the tailgate of his F-150 long bed, he had a baby tent in the bed so i guess that was sufficient for him. He said he was demoing the Cannondale Habit he was riding for a few days. Myself if i wanted to stay overnight i would just fold down the rear seat and rough it with a nice thick comforter and the bare necessities but for people like yourself who travel so much, away from Hotels and wish to eliminate driving back and forth a van is the way to go. When i go to Dupont for a few days/nights i stay at a Red Roof in Hendersonville [bike friendly] for about 70.00 a night which is only 15 miles from the Lake imaging parking lot
Do you all plan to purchase pre-fabricated? Or go with something that you build out yourselves? Now that it comes in AWD, the Transit seems like a solid budget option compared to the traditional Sprinter.
My wife and I were there on Sunday to checkout all the Van mods. We have a 21 Revel ordered and can’t wait to travel and MTB The Luge in SoCal and hit Moab and Sedona for the 1st time. Sorry we missed ya, I love showing off my Ripmo... see ya on the trail.. Dave
Not sure what your budget is but Leisure Wonder RTB C-Class are amazing. Just bought one with the bike storage. The size of storage area may not suit your needs but it was one of the only models I could find (in stock) with the dedicated bike storage. Full dry shower, wifi extender with 4G. It costs a bit but so far worth every penny
Wow Mo! they're all really cool in their own way. I like them all but if I was buying a van I would choose the last one. I really like the concept of being able to rent one to try. After all, you test drive the car or mt bike before buying one. Bob T.
Prices on these are crazy. A little different though if it's your home. Hard to say what you'd need because I would only need to survive maybe a week at a time. They're all so nice and I'm a sucker for a 4x4.
I been considering van life. What is the price range of the ones that were at the Expo? How do you guys like Van Life? Pros/Cons? You guys must love it since you're getting another one.
Norbert Demanuele the ones at the expo were definitely very nice and prob 100-200k! We love it bc it allows us to travel full time but it’s not always amazing!
@@moandhannahtravel I heard that last part, that it's not always amazing :-) I've had the itch now for some months to get something, but I have great concerns about weather would really be more of a hassle than it sounds. Constantly juggling around your belongings in a small space that may not even be comfortable much of the time sounds like it has the potential for disappointment. I'd love to talk to you guys about it.
@@moandhannahtravel Everyone knows that if you have a tall van you are living in it. Check out these new Class C's. Ford Transit which gets 16-17 MPG and a huge garage. ruclips.net/video/1gM6pq9ucuE/видео.html
Well.... For the money... Could you buy a decent quality all wheel drive/4 wheel drive Rv that's been outfitted already and then have some parts inside customized that you don't like? Custom coach Less than $100k. My folks have a coach with slides and it doubles the room.
that last one would be perfect for you guys! that is incredible looking.

They are the best of the best in terms of vans. And Yes it’s different if it’s our home!

Winebego Revel
Just get a small Class C/B+
Fattie we would but it’s hot as stealth and gas Milage is not great. Still keeping it as an option though!?

Your next van should be one you can afford. I’ve looked at the prices, I couldn’t afford one, so I just sleep in my truck. 😉🍀
It’s our home so we are willing to invest! Trucks look nicer to drive tbh
Don't know whether the US has them, but a Toyota Coaster would be perfect
Shaun Holden I don’t think we do!
You should auction off your old van.

not some of them, they had no soul
I think you guys should get the transformer ☝️
