Wow.. I love this.. sadly I paid for a class and this is exactly what they taught.. like 12 minutes..
Ah that’s crazy ! My course covers so much more than this too ! This is just the basics 🫠
@@Iifeasdom yeah.. I don’t mind paying at all. It was $97 but the info was not detailed enough and didn’t not take me on a beginning to end journey.
Was it the Modern Beauty Academy? I paid the same and it wasn’t as detailed 🤦🏾♀️

I'm loving this content.
Thank youuu 🥰🥰
Can you do a tutorial with this color on curly bundles? 🥹❤️
This is really detailed. Thank for this. Please what toner did you use?
Of course it’s all in the description!
Hi , I absolutely love this . Did you apply the toner to the entire hair or only the parts that you highlighted.
The whole thing! Since the developer is low it won’t lift the other hair
So beautiful ❤️ What exact toner did you use please I wanna try this look
I used wella t18 , I listed the the products in the description as well 🥰
Again slayer amazing thanks for this video ❤🎉
My pleasure!!
Can I use a different brand volume and developer to achieve this look or does it need to be the v & d brands you used? ❤
Whatever works for you is fine ! So long as it gives you the lift (9 levels) & doesn’t deteriorate that hair .
How many sections do you part for the money piece? Do you also weave that part
I do about 1-3 depending on how much hair I put in the section. You just want it to be very thin sections so they process better
Hi, I’m a new subscriber and just want to say WOW! I can’t believed you shared such a beautifully detailed coloring video and thoroughly explained and even take time to answer all your subscribers that’s amazing! Im actually going to follow all your socials because your character is amazing. I also graduated cosmetology school and this is amazing content that I fully could understand a grasp.
I have a question I hope you could help me. I’ve asked this question in school and nobody has been able to help. I wanted to know how do you darken your base without affecting your highlights. I’m assuming it’s better to use a semi when dealing with natural hair but when coloring a wig for a client I almost always use permanent color due to the fact that they wash their wigs and I don’t want the colors to fade quickly. I’ve dyed my base jet black after highlighting my wig and it turned my highlights a slight green color. I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. I tried avoiding the color from running but it didn’t work. It still affected my highlight color.
Hey love thanks so much I appreciate it! For the base usually for me I like a dark brown base that blends with the hair . For wigs specifically you can always add the coloured hair after with bundles if you want a super dark base (jet black) or just do a root smudge for a deeper root area. For the green though you can cancel that out with something red based (shampoo or light toner) since it’s opposite green on the colour wheel .
I LOVE the way this hair turned out!! I know you said to do a bleach bath if you want a lighter base but what is a bleach bath?
It’s essentially mixing bleach , developer & hot water in a basin to lift the base colour of a wig quickly & evenly. I can do a video on it soon 🥰
Ok thank you and yes please, that would be awesome!
What would using a higher developer result in? For example, if I use 20 vol, wouls rhay jist mean it would lighten faster?
Yes the higher the volume the quicker the lift but also the more damage you will have. Bleaching of any type causes damage but using a higher developer causes more stress to the strands. With this type of style you shouldn’t have to go up to 20 at the beginning but I do sometimes switch midway through so that all the hair is done at the same time if that makes sense
Makes total sense, thank you!
I have a question!! When you’re washing the hair and using the wells t18 toner, are you using the wella 10 developer when you wash the hair as well at the same time? I’m a bit confused and want to get this right lol. Help! Help! Great tutorial! This is perfection.
So after I remove the foils I rinse out the bleach & wash with a shampoo , then while the hair is wet ( I do wring it out a bit first) I mix the toner & developer & apply it to the hair, after it has sat for like 15-20 minutes I do a full wash & conditioner
Question? Do you mix the toner with the bleach powder? Or add it after?
No toner is an after step . Bleach powder is mixed with developer which is the cream looking liquid . Toner is also mixed with its own developer .🥰
Can I do this method with bundles that haven’t been made into a wig yet
Yes! However always think about placement when you do that so the colour lines up seamlessly. If you want certain colour patterns it may be easier to do once it’s made
I love this but I want a warmer blonde , less grey. What toner would you recommend ?
You can use a warmer toner &/or don’t lift the hair as high . I used a purple based toner so it going to cancel out majority of the warm yellow tones .
@@Iifeasdomthank you. What brand would you recommend, I’m from the UK and I haven’t seen much variety in our shops. Also is it fine to use 30 VOL on the raw 1B hair ? X
@@mydei12345 I love redken shades eq line but wella is also good & more accessible
@@mydei12345for lifting the hair to blonde if the hair is raw there is no reason to use higher than a 20 vol anything more just causes unwanted stress on the hair
Amazing!😍😍what did you wash it with?
Bond bar shampoo
❤❤❤
How many boxes of t18 toner did you use!
Just 1
Hi , can i ask wich toner you used?
T18 ! I listed all the products in the description as well
@@Iifeasdom thankyouu
0:27 Hi! What exactly does 7 + 20 mean? Do you use some 7 volume and 20 volume? Thanks! ❤
Yes I use both to create a different level . For developer if you use an equal measure of two you take the volume of both add them together then divide them by 2 you get the new volume if that makes sense
Thanks Dom! I think I get it. So you mix 1 part 7 developer and 1 part 20 to make the 2 parts developer to be 27 developer?! 😂😅
@@MeachTea not exactly. So for a 20 & 7 vol mix this would be the calculation: 20 + 7 = 27 , 27/2 = 13.5 . So you end up with a 13.5 vol developer ❤
@@Iifeasdom This is awesome Dom thank you!
You talk hella fast 😂😂
lol really I’ll slow it down next time ! 💗
To which level did you make her blonde? Before you washed bleach out to tone
Level 9/10 for this one I wanted more of a grey/ash toned blonde
